  • Very nice turnout! I wish I could have it, lol

  • horrible arms and hands....really!

  • what's the music called

  • @theAnnafilms 2nd movement of Mozart piano sonata in F major, KV. 332. I know because I play the whole sonata now :P and dance ballet as well, allowing me an educated statement saying that she is fantastic.

  • you are very controlled

  • oh my, her legs go so high! I get up to 90º WITH DIFFICULTIES! haha great video

  • This is really good - very strong and lovely turnout., I find you're arms slightly distracting. Its really helpful to look at the girls from the Vaganova dancing because they all hold their arms beautifully and there are plenty of videos of their classes on youtube. I've found a massive improvement in my arms and general dancing by simply watching them :)

  • <3

  • great extensions

  • Perfect. Great job.

  • hamburger hands- the horror!

but she has great control and turnout :)

  • i feel like the only people who know how hard this actually is, are the people who can do it. or almost can.

  • beautiful!

  • i feel her pain just by looking at that grande rhonde de jambe. beautiful.

  • bottom hslf is great...work on upper body....unless u are at a balenchine based studip

  • So beautiful <3 :)

  • Very pretty! The adagio that we do at our studio we have to hold our leg for forever! but it helps!

  • well made

  • beautiful!

  • your legs are veeery good. Try to improve your arms and bit and you're gonna be perfect !

  • ahhh too much hand movement hands arms elbows. etc. are supposed to be the frame of the adagio. paint the picture with your legs :)

  • SHE MUST BE FROM A BALENSHINE SCHOOL. SAB PNB MIAMI CITY BALLET ETC. BECAUSE THAT IS THE WAY YOUR HANDS ARE HELD IN THAT TECHNIQUE CHECK OUT DARCI KISTLER OF THE NEW YORK CITY BALLET OR ANY OF THE DANCER THERE FOR THAT MATTER

  • Comment removed

  • this is beautiful <3

  • mejora tu colocación de brazos y manos, y por lo general en esta tipo de ejercicios se ocupan zapatillas de media punta para mayor comodidad y control del equilibrio.

  • lovely......bravo

  • love the muscle definition in her legs, wish i could have those calves

  • pretty good but a bit too fingery, wristy and elbowy for me, the arms need to face framing

  • nice line

  • very nice! beautiful points by the way :)

  • balanchine arms haha

    :)

  • I think she led with her knee too much going into devlope, and like many others, I think she needs to relax her fingers and shoulders.

    Lovely Feet!! :)

  • well done, you did very well but i would say calm the arms down a tad, i think they may be a tiny bit too floaty, and push your sholders down,, did good though, SMILE !

  • keep your shoulders down, you can definitely see the tension in your neck

  • what is adagio exactly?

  • anyone knows what's the music playing?

  • watch ur fingers and wrists. but otherwise lovely.

  • very well done!:D

  • brutte braccia e mani orrende!!!!!

  • chi sei per dirlo è? sei étoile e di quale teatro? ma vai a cagare

  • suuuuper good legs, but her port de bras was all over the place and her wrists were super duper floppy.

  • great :)... but she splays her fingers too much. Maybe also make your arms more round.

But all in all it looks very good ... good work.. specially the legs ;)

I'm sure my work would not look that good

  • she has Balanchine fingers.....

  • very pretty but i couldn't stop watching the hands...very distracting

  • nice!

  • Very nice. Perfect Balanchine style! Just avoid that little neck tension on the developpée devant, nothing else.

    Clap clap, go on...

Pic (ballet teacher Vaganova style in Paris)

  • For some reason when we work on adagio in class, my hips feel like a big block. It seizes up (especially on the right leg) and it's hard for me to push through. I've tried talking to my instructor but she was in a really, really bad mood today.

This is nice. Couldn't do that without extreme wobbling.

  • your pretty good . just need a little more work (:

  • please control your arms and fingers, because it is just too much...

  • i think she looks good..on stage it would be beautiful

  • if she learn the proper port the bras, she will be fine, i'm sure...

  • careful about ROLLING and just be ON you foot

  • that was great. I kept waiting for something to nitpick about, but really found nothing. Great control and turnout.

  • very graceful

    nice

  • Wow, VERY good turn out. from what i saw in this video she is a beatuifully trained dancer whether she is taught different arms or not. plus, i love adagio, its my fav :}

  • amazing with my extensions were like that!

  • The arms look like this because she seems to be Balanchine trained. Give her a break for that.

  • Thank you, aquino. I'm so tired of all of the negative remarks and criticisms of these Pennsylvania Ballet videos - which are meant as illustrations of one particular technique - Balanchine - and are totally 'correct' within his style. And I happen to like the way they look; they look 'correct' to my eye, as do other styles.

  • I live in New York. Where I train I might be dancing next to Wendy Whelan one day and next to Diana Vishneva the next. I've gotten used to identifying different styles, Balanchine can be an aquired taste if you've never been expossed to it, but I personally enjoy it.

  • Les bras sont trop haut.

  • amazing..

  • were you trained to go through B+ before your developpe back?

  • i love your legs!!! so solid!!! sigh, am trying hard to get my legs looking like yours!

  • Erm the arms look a bit like jello...and your shoulders seem to be riding up..your not lifting from the top of your head.

  • the arms are wrong in the red syllabus.hmmmmmmmm x_x

  • mani orrende!!!!!!!spezzano le linee...e poi le punte per fare cosa????per sembrare goffa????no mi spiace!!!

  • you lift your arms up too high most of the time

  • Sorry but I must pointe out the negatives.

-You must fix ur hands. They r not shaped properly.

-Use all of ur music. Dont rush it.

    -Keep ur balance

-hands should be more in front of u in arm positions (for ex: on ba)

    on the bright side

    -you were very lifted

    -you looked very confident

    -flexible

    -nice point in ur foot

  • KE BRUTT FISIKO

  • può sempre dimagrire!

  • zzzz...and what is she doing just before she does her dev to the back. tendue? surely it should come from 5th straight into coupé?

just my personal point of view and how my teacher taught me

  • Fantastic! I see a future Makharova!!!

  • wow you are so strong! jealous

  • la grâce est là et elle exprime toujours quelque chose qui vient de plus haut!!bravo

  • She's beautiful :) I wish I had core strength like that!

  • omg ur turnout is perfecT!! im JELOUS!!!

  • really?

  • yes! I mean I do RAD inter foundation and my turnout SUCKSS i do some exercices to make it better but i dont see any progress..

I think this is because when I left ballet for about 4 years, my butt... (k this will sound weird) like.. grew.. so i donno if this is .. correct..

  • whoever max1494 is...

    her turnout's nice. :)

and turnout comes from the hips anyway.. if anything it would be her hips that would be gone.

    you're beautiful !!

  • i think you did a wonderful job but make sure you keep your hands soft and pretty

  • Everyone get oVER the whoe "Ballet Body" thing!!! Everyone deserves to dance beautifully no matter what size!!!!

  • yeah maybe she doesn't have the perfect ballet body but its still gorgeous, and she is an amazing dancer!!! great technique.

  • Nice control and pretty! Sometimes you looked uncomfortable and it didn't look effortless but still, it was great!

And your body is beautiful, don't let anyone tell you differently.

  • good, but really forced turnout, your knees are going to be gone in 10 years

  • Beautiful!

  • Ahhh, so fluid and lovely to watch. I wanna be able to do this!! Soon...

  • very very very good !!

    she is perfect !!

    bye bye !...

  • sweetie i think your body is beautiful.

what i would say though is that you will feel al ittle more on your center if you dont over turn out your fifth position. try to maintain the turnout from the thigh so you stay connected through the back of your legs. try doing exercises from 3rd instead of fifth for a few barre combinations. it will make you feel more stable. i know it sounds crazy but abt alumni colleen o'callaghan would approve this message :D

  • Her execution through 5th is exquisite. Good traiing :)

  • aren't those devil le pés??

  • This is absolutely beautiful. Ignore the idiot who opened her mouth about your weight--your body is very beautiful. I'm not a dancer, so I can't say anything other than it was absolutely beautiful to me.

  • wow. her head does not look small in proportion to her body in my opinion. and calling someone's body "massive" (even if you're speaking relatively) is completely unacceptable--ballet is already an art where the stress on having a "perfectly thin" body have seriously damaged people's mental states, so it's not necessary for you to make such negative comments to such a beautiful young woman. Get over your hang ups and accept that you don't have to be pin thin to do ballet.

  • No, you don't have to be pin thin to do ballet, but it would help greatly if you were to do professional ballet. Besides, most of those ballerinas are not anorexic - they are just genetically like that.

  • Idiot, im not even gona go in to it cos it makes me mad i just want to let you no your an idiot

  • Just to clarify - this is our mum writing, so what she thinks is not necessarily what we think.

  • beautiful develOpés..! ^^

  • sickle foot at the back but good.

  • your turn out is unreal

  • beauty! ;)

  • Oh! She's beautiful :) I wish I had core strength like that!

  • i love your extensions .

    great control and strength there.

but your arms are placed alittle towards the back so move your arms forward this helps in the weight placement too.

  • lovely dancer although im not a fan of the arms either. they are a bit 'fluffy' and held too high in the 1st position (hands should be opposite belly button) but otherwise very strong dancer! :)

  • yeah i think the arms are a little too high but the rest of the routine was pretty

  • she is really good , but sorry I do not like the hands

  • Whoah, what wonderful turnout!!!!! and flexibility. You make it look so fluid!

  • "get a life" to those assholes who previously commented on her weight!.. she has a beautiful body and she is not fat.. u are just a anorexic abnormal freaks.. she has great technique and i love how she uses her lower body, good extensions but lighten up on your arms abit and maintain frame

  • Get a life yourself. She is not fat. And I am fatter than her, but I am not exactly training to be a ballerina, am I? Eighty years ago all ballerinas were like this or fatter. It's just that standards have changed and the moves have become harder, so it is much easier to perform them with less weight, as well as for men to lift the ballerina.

  • extension? where?

  • good extensions, but really work on your arms! they are really important....

  • that was beautiful, but try using your head a bit more, great technique!

  • that was beautiful!!! and a great body shape as well!! amazing technique!!!! fantastic dancer.

  • You make it looks so easy.

  • Some of you really should think about what you are saying. Shame on you!

  • I don't think she is fat. But not to be mean but I am alot thinner than her. I am a ballerina like and I am 5 foot 6 and I am 81 lbs!

  • thats called abnormal! FARRRK thats like 45 kgs!

    sorry honey.

this girl is AMAZING and has a gorgeous figure.

    her core strength is fabulous.

  • That's the standard weight for a ballerina.

  • Soooo gracefull and beautiful. btw, anyone know what that piece was called that she was doing the ballet to? It was all around amazing.

  • it is by mozart, sonata in F K332 2nd movement.

  • Beautiful. My only peeve is the fingers of the right hand. But I think that might just be me. Great job! ;D

  • same with me lol!!

  • Why did I stop dancing????

  • You have WONDERFUL extensions, but a few pointers. Your arms are a little too loose, and when you go to developpe derriere, you prop yourself up a little with your pointe shoe. However, I know how hard that is to stand on one leg, flat in pointe shoes, so I commend you, because that was beautiful. Your rond de jambe en tournent is beautiful as well. Keep dancing!!

  • que pena las manos, y la fluidez de los brazos

  • ok, make up your mind haters.

  • ur fatter. oops, joking! :3

see, people dont like being called fat! or ugly. its not the nicest words in the dictionary, dude. its plain not cool! even if u were joking! >:[

  • what's your problem? she's NOT fat at all!

  • maybe you could try to hold you're ronde jambe longer.

and the 'ronde jambe en tournent' is really nice. =D

  • i think she's amazing, good job!

  • more fluidity in the arms would be good i think...

  • your legs are gorgeous. great extensions.

  • Great control.

    I'm jealous.

  • she is very good!!!

  • doing an adagio in pointe shoes is hard.

  • uh she never went on pointe..

  • i meant just standing on one leg in pointe shoes.

  • She has good balance on her develope and attitudes, arms, a little fluttery and should be stronger, but overall she's very talented.

  • hands and attitude on the devlope isnt amazing

  • such a good turn out!

be less shakey and its like perfectt

  • thats how a ballet dancer body should be ^.^

  • everything is good until you develope do the back. make sure you dont go to attitude atere(sp?) you should wrap the foot first. :D

  • body body BODY! get that fixed and you're in great shape

  • That was really pretty! You looked a little scared. SMILE!!!

  • GAH!.. her turnout is like perfectt!!

    Im jealous :(

  • bei piedi ma le gambe nn sono molto alte

  • arms arms ARMS.

get those fixed and you've got it!

    :D.

  • relax ur thumbs - hands are a little spikey at times

  • If this is the Rock School, her hands would be Balanchine.......that's it force the turnout some more, screw the line get the leg higher..

  • good but you should make your hands a bit more graceful.

  • I thought her arms looked great!

  • how old are you?

because u look over 12 and when i was 11 i was doing this xD

  • lie. this exeercise is from grade 5. that means that you have to be at least 13

  • not a lie. im 12 and i was doing this last year.

  • wait. maybe your not in the same programe i do... are you in RAD programe (royal academie of dance)? bcause in that programe, adagio is learned at grade 5. i´m sourece. i´ve got the book. =)

  • wow people i really am shocked by how you all speak to each other!!! Ballet is competitive i understand but it does not mean you need be hating on your fellow dancer. if we all treated each other with respect i thing dance would be that much more enjoyable

  • well from reading the first page of comments, i dont think anything harsh was said, just constructive. thats the nature of ballet! in class, you WANT to be corrected... how else are you going to improve?

  • I would suggest you make your plie a little deeper, at first I couldn't tell if it was meant to be a plie! :D Very good, though.

  • graceful!! but you need to work a little bit on your arms!!! they were very unclean!

  • Que linduh!!!!!!!!!!!

    Perfeitooo

    Parabens

  • Why do you take the developpé derriére from a 'toe on the floor' instead of from 5th position?

  • amazing poise, confidence and technique

  • beautiful, you're amazing

  • your a very graceful dancer!!

  • your points and lines are so graceful
