Get outside the scenery in Megaton (Fallout 3)

Once i got outside, i went all the way to Canterberry Commons. It was weird

If your having trobble getting to the top of the plane. Theres a small hole or window next to the pipe. Slowly back into that and you'll be able to jump strait up and go outside

Took me about 8-10 Times to make the jump, Is there any way of Escape, I have a the Save in handy for that, but Im just curious if theres an alternative.

When you get outside of megaton or any city left over in DC without going through the main loading door (that is to get out and you have a loading screen) you are physically out of megaton into the wastelands, but not actually. It's a bit confusing. Technically you are still in the megaton 'relm' if you get me, and everything is fucked up outside because when you are in the megaton 'relm' by going through the loading main door, the designers only mainly designed in the city & didn't expect any1

how do you jump while your on the plane? ill probably figure it out by the time u read this though.

It's all about timing and trial and error. When I'm on the side of the plane I push and hold up, towards the handrail on top, and keep tapping jump(very quickly).

So, the reason you just didnt go to the wasteland was because the game only loaded megaton..so you just jump out onto an empty plane, right?

I could have gone out of the gate or fast traveled out, but this was just to show a glitch.

i tried getting into paradise falls by getting over the walls there (bypass the entrance dude) there's a collection of 3 or 4 oil drums nearby so you can easily make a staircase, but as it turns out, the walls/fences there have an invisible barrier over them, bullets can pass through, people and objects cant :/
