  • british gods!

  • blows me away every time

  • i can literally listen to this song forever. no joke.

  • SHIT AMAZING! I LOVE THE HORRORS!

  • from which music video is 2:07?

  • what the fuck, why do they make such wonderful music?

  • 5 haircuts in search of The New Sound.

  • i think they just copied joy division's love will tear us apart.. sounds very similar. im not hating tho pretty good band

  • @Zombie158 The Horrors are very derivative of Joy Division and post punk, but I am okay with that.

  • I promise you, you have to see this live before you die.

  • Their best song!

  • quality

  • Insane tune. Insane album. Insane band.

  • youtube knows Joy Division should be a related to this musical gold.

  • Good song, but holy hell those guys look like douchebags

  • @dudeness88 they are really nice actually! :) i was intimidated by them

  • @dudeness88 At first that's what I thought, but they're accually nice dudes. Their clothes just resonate from the music. Their image.

  • what a brilliant song. this band should be bigger than what they are

  • This is definitely my favourite song of Primary Colors.

  • The Horrors fuck of the world!

  • first 3 notes = all you need is love

  • Authenticity is invaluable; originality is non-existent.

And don’t bother concealing your thievery - celebrate it if you feel like it. In any case, always remember what Jean-Luc Godard said: “It’s not where you take things from - it’s where you take them to."

    — Jim Jarmusch

  • Nothing is original.

Steal from anywhere that resonates with inspiration or fuels your imagination. Devour old films, new films, music, books, paintings, photographs, poems, dreams, random conversations, architecture, bridges, street signs, trees, clouds, bodies of water, light and shadows.

Select only things to steal from that speak directly to your soul. If you do this, your work (and theft) will be authentic.

  • This should have been a single! The lyrics are amazing.

  • Yeahh it's so very good.

  • amazing

  • THE 80S WERE TWO DECADES AGO AND DESPITE YOUR FAUX-TRENDY UPBRINGING YOU CAN'T EVEN PAY ATTENTION TO HACKS WHO ARE GOOD ENOUGH AT MAKING DERIVATIVE GARBAGE THAT THEY DON'T BLATANTLY ATTEMPT TO BE THE CURE PT 2 NOW WITH AUTOTUNE

  • This is such a rip off of the cure, and a little bit of joy division thrown in.

SO UNORIGINAL!!!!!!!! How do bands get away with shit like this?

  • @neveragaineverever okay firstly before i respond properly to your comment i would like to point out that i am a huge fan of the cure. This however does not change the fact that you are talking bullshit. Also if you're going to try and be cool by saying they're un origional don't put it on a guenuinly beautiful song! The cure and the horrors are my two favourite bands don't insult them for making great music that you can't enjoy because you are too small minded to look beyond the music you know.

  • number one suggestion: love will tear us apart.

    fucking lolz.

  • Excelent!!!!!!!

  • puta madre que belleza

  • no matter how diverse they are they always keep the same vitality and have that signature sound, they're amazing!

  • <3 the horrors are really experimenting and moving music forward .. SO GOOD TO SEE A BAND DOING THIS :D

  • A most excellent song. <3

  • Without dwelling too much on comparisons because I'm actually sick and tired of hearing the same old they-sound-like pish.

However, the bass line and the vocals towards the end are so reminiscent of Love Will Tear Us Apart.

I fucking love this tune, by the way. I've read a lot about The Horrors but now after a few days of listening, they're surging into being one of my favourite bands.

  • @ScottMcDonald27 I thought the same the first time I heard this song, the vocals fit to the exact tune of Love Will...

And the same has happened to me, after getting Primary Colours and Skying a couple of weeks back I have struggled to listen anything else!

  • @ScottMcDonald27 I've found myself singing the words to Love Will Tear Us Apart to that part a few times

  • fantastico!!

  • This is love. This is what love feels like.

    Long live the Horrors. <3

  • @MaryJaneWhatsername what does <3 mean? It looks like some bollocks on their side. I am serious, I don't know what it means.

  • @cjwaynefresh It's a sideways heart, since there's no way to make it right side up.

  • @MaryJaneWhatsername ♥ there is

  • @MaryJaneWhatsername thanks for clearing that up for me, makes sense I suppose.

  • @cjwaynefresh You're welcome. =]

  • as someone in their mid 30's who was in love with the first wave of "post-punk-brit-pop-shoe-gaze-whatever you want to call it-", i say thanks. These guys are successfully able to pay homage to their influences while keeping their own name on some amazing music. That's not something easy to do.

  • @flukeDC4 guitar work in this song doffs its cap massively to my bloody valentine.

  • so good friggin love this band

  • HELLZ YESH!! LOVE EM!! HEHE AND JOSHUA IS SO EFFIN SEXII! <3

  • OMG you know from the first 2 seconds that you are going to like a song and i have honestly got to say i love every song that this band has done, i am going to buy this album i love them :) x

  • Sounds like emo beatles.

  • @JonseyMcFly Narrow minded American dick.

  • @PrimalStones

    What.

I it's true. They sound like a more emo version of the Beatles.

For the record, which part of that is offensive.

  • @JonseyMcFly Emo Beatles, you just sound like an idiot. Maybe Ech & The Bunnymen or The Cure but not The Beatles.

  • @PrimalStones Maybe, I would of had i heard those other bands.

Next best thing i can say is they sound like gayer emo iron maiden.

but i don't want to insult iron maiden.

  • @JonseyMcFly Iron Maiden are shit, go and listen to some real music

  • @PrimalStones

iron Maiden are the pintical of metal.

You need to listen to music. and not a genre.

  • @JonseyMcFly METAL IS SHIT. Just a load of bollocks, i listen to about 10 different genres go and listen to some decent bands liek Sex Pistols or The Clash, Stone Roses and Rolling Stones

  • @PrimalStones Wow, Let me guess there ten genres that all all intertwined.

I listen to every thing. Also, stop defending your self with Brand Name Bands.

All i was doing was classifying it as what it sounded like to me.

I never even said it was bad. So step up and show you have musical taste and not just a sense for following others.

  • @JonseyMcFly hahahhaa brand band names? Stone Roses? i know about 4 people that know who The Stone Roses are. You know fuck all about music. Carry on and listen to your shitty Yankee stuff that all sounds the same.

  • @PrimalStones Really know, You name a band from the 1980's. Claims nobody knows them.

Claims i know fuck about music. "Shitty Yankee stuff" Now some one is really generalizing.

You really need a better understanding of music. especially american.

  • @JonseyMcFly American music is mostly shit apart from the 60's stuff such as The Doors, Henrix, CCR thats about it. There are no decent bands from the U.S since the 60's FACT.

  • @PrimalStones

O, You poor poor. Deprived soul.

How can you cut out of 50 years of music.

And o the music that has come out in the 50 years.

Especially the 90's. the 90's was a golden age of american music.

You really need to expand your tasts.

  • @JonseyMcFly I need to expand my taste hahaha you're having a laugh.

    I like 40's blues

    50's rock & roll

    60's blues rock and blues

    70's punk and rock

    80's alternative and indie

    90's brit-pop and rock

    2000's indie rock

expand my taste? hahaha have a laugh

  • @PrimalStones

Wow, That is some Narrow list there.

Do you know what you actually did there. What you just did was give me a evolutionary table of the blues.

Each of those genre's you listed are the children of the year before them. A some what new breed of music inspired by the last generations. Your basically just keep talking your self into a circle of narrow tasts.

  • @JonseyMcFly How is that a narrow list? i like near enough everything apart from most of todays music.

  • @PrimalStones Not sure if stupid, Or just really troll.

  • @JonseyMcFly troll i dont speak or do that American shit. Stupid? hahaha i know more about music than you. Do you even listn to music or just listen to that ork shit?

  • @PrimalStones

    You must be a troll.

You clain to know music. But you have no clue of musical evaluation musical theory of a elementary under standing of genre tables and separation. You have shown to have a single string of genres that you listen to all closey related to each other. And yet claim to have board musical tasts. And you also constantly mock my tast in music while you don't even now what they are.

  • @JonseyMcFly You are having a laugh. So Screamadelica is similar to Eddie Cochran is it? really? what are you on about? every bit of music falls into a genre. Spoken word, folk, rock, rock n roll, punk, alternative, drum and bass etc. the only music i dont like is modern RnB and modern hip hop, metal etc. Other than that i like near enough everything. While you just carry on listening to Iron Maiden and all that shit

  • @PrimalStones At least you finally proven you have the capacity for a reasonable argument. I'm going on about the Theory of musical evolution, Eddie Cochran influenced somebody who influence somebody else. Leading to genre's while different have the same Influential base.

The only musics you don't like end in a Ect, Which shows a little less then the everything.

Also you went on about a list of genre's but thats just part of it. Each on of those Splits off into 20 more smaller Genre definition

  • @JonseyMcFly Yeah i know that. What's your point you're saying i like a specific genre when i dont. Obviously blues turned into rock n roll, rock n roll in to rock then on to punk and so on so on just like everything. You're saying i like a specific type of music which isnt true at all.

  • @PrimalStones No, I am saying you like a particular branch of music.

  • @JonseyMcFly branch of music. doesnt make sense at all. I like so many different types of music that aren't related at all. Her argument? funny. calling me a girl shows your intelligence, along with the "emo Beatles" comment. What a stupid thing to say. Narrow minded

  • @PrimalStones keep going i want to see how deep of a stupidaty whole you can did.

  • @JonseyMcFly *stupidity

  • @PrimalStones No, I have proven my point that your an idiot who doesn't under stand her argument.

  • @JonseyMcFly Lmfao!! I've been reading both your comments for days now!!! U both clearly know your music, now just enjoy it!!!

  • @handsomedevil98 I am enjoying my music because i enjoy MOST music. But a comment saying "emo beatles" wtf is that all about?

  • @handsomedevil98

    I'm glad your entertained.

    And i do enjoy.

    @Primalstones

It does sound like emo beatles.

  • don't really know what to say.

    holy shit, this is magical?

  • <3 this is only love.

  • I don't think I could really pick a favorite song by The Horrors, because they make all their tracks really great and put so much effort into the music, it jut all reaches me at the same point that I really love.

  • This band is rubbish, but the song is sort of okay. I used to love them, but now I realized how truly overrated they are. But I'll admit they are quite the fashonistas.

  • This is my favorite song at the moment.

    I love it :)

  • Woah. I was staring at the second picture and thinking, "is it moving and getting bigger?" I thought I was losing it. xDD

  • I can't believe they formed in mid 2005. They sound like they could have been formed back when the Sex Pistols and Joy Division were getting knowned.

  • Love this song! They are one of my favorite groups!

They also remind me of joy division ^^

  • This song is the best of the album ...

  • I LOVE this song! I am not making a comparison before you burn me down but it does sound like Joy Division in the start, I personally see this as a huge plus! Lots of artists have a similar sound - these guys are just a great new spin on an older genre which seriously needed revisiting hehehe!

  • @lapinnoir That's really funny, cos once I heard this song I thought of exactly Joy Division. These guys really are great

  • i love it!

  • muy buena la rola

  • I love their new wave sound. Though the singer's voice reminds me of the Chameleons.

  • Comment removed

  • Sounds very much like My Bloody Valentine.

  • @heavenluck79 \

It's like My Bloody Valentine mixed with the Zombies and then thrown into 80's new wave.

  • chingoneria de cancion !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I didnt really get their first album. To me it was amazing music with someone shouting(apologies Faris) However primary colours has blown my mind. It really is a masterpiece. Every song has something new and beautiful. Thank you horrors.

  • i love this song *o*

  • Class

  • Look great, sound like The Chameleons and write good songs. Great band.

  • I loved the stomping garage rock of the first album , but this album is thier masterpiece. Every tune is so beyond good! This is pure , haunting , Joy Division post-punk; 1983 done right , plus Faris is beautiful to look at.

  • @kelsmart doesnt sound like joy division... but does sound good:D:D:D

  • Farris looks a lot like Adrian Brody to me ,anyone else think so?

  • picture reminds me of pornography's cover from the cure

  • this is just the perfectly dreamy ... i wish they would make a music video for this song...

  • As the summer fades away you'll lead me to the garden passing the lovers swooning in the autumn see yourself, your image in the eyes of someone else see yourself, your fears as they appear to someone else when the sun sets on dark silhouettes collapse into dream as summer fades away laugh at my reflection passed to a lover seeking your affection though i know you won't be here for long i love this song
