I just caught them live at the Laneway Festival in Singapore last night! Never heard of them but was so blown away by their performance I'm going to buy their CDs next week!

I have to agree with this. Luke adds a great vibe to the band they've really lost with the new material. Don't get me wrong, Odd Blood is really good, but AHC is an indie masterpiece as far as I'm concerned.

I love Odd Blood but All Hour Cymbals is just ridiculously good.

To each their own, it's all preference. To me it feels like All Hour Cymbals just has more soul. Odd Blood is dancier but less emotional to me.

But god damn I love it all. It's just to me, one's great and another's greater, all there is to it.

With the exception of two songs (one and AA) I agree completely. They have some live studio versions of some Odd Blood songs and its a real dissapointment. It's possible they've lost some passion due to too many shows but I think Luke leaving removed an essential component to their unique sound as well.
