u know what i never understood. is why instead of traveling 75 thousand lightyears from the delta q. to the alpha q., which would take 80 yrs, why didnt they just fly to the gamma q. and use the gamma q. wormwhole that lead to the alpha q. cuz next gen. ds9 and voy r in the same time zone. and ds9 came out before voy and in the 1st ep of voy they were docked at ds9. so they knew of the worm hole. and that would be faster. fly for 20 yrs, use the worm home and boom back home.

@glensgamereviews I disagree I thought Voyager was a good show not the best Star Terk that I'd have to hand to TNG in my opinion it had 1 or 2 dodgy episodes and season 2 was a little weak but for me even those episodes were good

Voyager has the most beautiful theme of all the series. It has a feeling of hope and confidence with that soaring, uplifting melody and the reassuring power with the brass arrangement.

This theme just makes me think, have no fear. You're a stranger in a strange land, but you're GOING to make it home, and you're in for a great adventure along the way.

i get that same kinda feeling too whenever i watch the opening title and listen to the music. It like triggers emotion like a mix of happiness, sadness, adventure (if i cud put that way), and imagination. Sometimes i wish star trek were real and i was in the story since i like Janeway, Neelix and Seven (she acts more like Data than human or worf hidding her emotions; oh well i love the Voyager series better than the others).

Best theme of all the series. Listen to it with headphones sometime, and you pick up all sorts of musical flourishes you don't ordinarily hear when it's just coming from the television

I just love this theme! Voyager is a really good series because the emotional component gets a lot of attention. I like that! Also the captain's a woman which rocks.

DS9 is very interesting to watch because it raises cool filosophical questions.

I think Voyager the ship was better than the Enterprise. The Enterprise although it has more firepower, lacked manouverability, whereas Voyager was quick and manouverable as well as reasonably well stocked with weapons.

TNG had rare opportunities for making the characters 3-dimensional, as it were; in today's market I'm sure it would've been different. Stewart is one of a mere handful of popular actors that can act with his eyes and he had a few great moments.

Voyager was a different animal. Lead was a female; the writing took the deeper emotional component into account at the outset, making it more gratifying all around.

DS9 was nearly unwatchable after the 1st coupla seasons :\

LOL how can you have an opinion that it was the best and never saw it? Actually the Star Trek with the highest ratings in viewings was The Next generation. Voyager came after. It was good but lacked the element of the main franchise OF Star Trek a ship bearing the name Enterprise. Still doesnt mean it was bad it was an exellent show and yes they did get home.

I dont see how. all the ships are named afetr famous ships or technilogical machines we have. The Voyager satellites for instance? and the nuclear powered ship the Enterprise? to me theres no difference. Your opinion doesnt mean Voyager was the best. You liked it the best not sayin it was a bad show but THG did much better. and ratings proves it. I loved voyager tho as well its my fav next to TNG

in the end thats all that we can say is that its our opinion. I liked the show voyager but I found the ship to be a bit small I didnt really like it =/. I didnt like the enterprise D either...it looked weird. My favortie ships were the Enterprise A and E. The one from Voyager that split into 3 different parts was cool too cant rem its name tho.
