Wow! Tis brings back memorys working for John Welch at this time! My second season with him here and nearly the last for the Escort sadly!
My claim to fame was making the roof spoiler for this event! we spent many long nights rebuilding the car before this weekend after it got badly damaged in the rear! John wanted the roof spoiler to fit more sponsors on the car!

I loved that STP car of John Welch, with the red white blue STP logos brilliant. Remember they sponsored a lot of motorsports in the 80s, they were big in speedway as well sponsoring Shawn Moran. John Welch legend.
