I was just about to PM you to see how things are going and then I saw this video! Frobard, your hovering skills are fantastic! Looks like you are flying almost side in rather then strait tail in so that is even harder. Plus I see you are flying in winds. great control both in height and cyclic movements. I can never tire of the sound the Blade 400 makes. I definately have to get another one and I will. Well done my friend. I will be watching this site more closely now!! Well done indeed!!
Dear Anders, That is a perfect hovering! Much better than my first 10 hoverings two years ago. You are on a really good way and I am sure, you will make your first real rounds on a wide field very soon. Yes, the Blade 400 flies much better without training gear but for the first test hoverings it was good to use it. But now you are far beyond that point. Congratulations for this progress.
Really great and nice video. Camgirl (Anja) and I enjoyed to watch it.
Looks good to me :) that's one steady hover I think. And what I read from other comments, I don't think either your too old for this stuff. And I don't think you should really consider Belt CP CX after better quality Blade 400. Besides the CP CX looks like poop :D
@AxsFin I'll wait with expensive scale models. Today I gave my crappy wobbling Art-tech Hughes 300 a new ESC and a Spektrum rx. In my DX6i I made a good throttle curve with higher rpm for it. Now it's very steady in the air and I have a flying semi scale heli. I hope I'll be able to make a video of it soon.
@IEATSRT Thanks! Maybe I'm too old for this but it's great fun :) I just watched your Blade 400 hovering video. Very good! My dream is to someday get a scale helicopter. I'm not interested in '3D' flying.
Thanks. Yes Im not into the flipping and twisting into the sky much either though loops and rolls would be nice. I was just this morning looking for more of a scale model and I think Century Helicopters would be the way to go. Need to be a better pilot before I spend that much though! Never too old!! :D
@IEATSRT A Thunder Tiger Mini Titan E325 with the Agusta A109 body is on my wishlist. Or the much less expensive new Esky Belt CP CX. I need a job/more money though
I'm just so pleased for you ;-) Can't wait to see more vids my friend!!

@oliverdots Thanks Craig! This is great fun.
The 400 roars like a tiger.
I think I've improved a bit since this video was shot and my legs don't shake as much as they used to do :)
I'm not hovering side in but rather at about a 30-45 degree angle. I think that's easier than tail in and I also get to see the helicopter better.

@toyyou2jp Thanks! I've trained in the ClearView Flifgt simulator and this feels almost like the simulator :)
