Uhh, that end clip is out of context. He was speaking of the first Bush and it was in regard to Kuwait war actions and post war actions. Oh and all true btw as history and independent sources now show, unlike the history rewrite Bush II is so diligently lobbying for. What concerns me more than what is being alleged is the concerted effort to lie about it, that tells me the truth is probably actually much worse.

I look at this in two ways: Either Bush was told what he wants to hear instead what he needed to hear by the CIA or Bush was told what he needed to hear but decided to war anyway.

What Bush should been told was by CIA Director George Tenet was: look mr president, we either cant the wmd or we not 100% sure the intelligence is accurate.

Highly disingenous Gore clip. That was well before W. took office and was directed at Bush Sr's Iraq policy. Totally irrelevant to the 2nd Iraq War.

The bottom line is the Bush administration, at best, cherrypicked all the information on WMD and Saddam-Al-qaeda connections. They even set up an office to do it in the Pentagon. The set the policy well before the war and tried to make the intelligence fit it. Anybody who dissented they went after politically.
