20 years ago when i looked, dressed and acted "femme", no man believed me when i said i was a lesbian. these days, i dress more "butch", not because i'm butch, but simply because it's more comfortable. the dynamics with black men are astounding. when i wore a weave, i couldn't keep them off me. now that my hair is closely cropped and natural, they avoid me like the plague. i'm lovin' it.
