Is there ANY chance you can upload Every Breath You Take from this concert? It is just about my favourite version of that song (and it's my all time favourite song haha)
This tour was fantastic, I saw this at the albert hall in London. It was pure raw energy, Vinnie got to shine. Stings tours after this one lacked that. I still loved them, but not as good as this line up. David Sancious was good. But you sort of always thought... mmmm, Kenny should be playing this, and you know he'd cream it too. I've still got this on VHS recorded off the TV. I wish this got the DVD treatment.
This was a brilliant tour. I saw the Ten Summoners Tales tour at The Royal Albert Hall, London, and it rocked. The sound was amazing, and these four playing together was awesome. I went to 4 other Sting gigs after that one, and none of them were as good as that. Why oh why there were never a DVD of this Oslo gig.
Sting is one of my favorite artists. This show proves why! Killer band too...David's keyboard solo was very impressive! The drummer is insane too! Thanks so much for uploading this fantastic clip!
Sting has ALWAYS been one of my favorites. This is a great live performance. Sting's May 1994 Berklee Commencement Address was an AMAZING read. I will never forget his words. So true what he said about Samuel Barber's "Adagio for Strings." That hit me hard. Sting is another gifted musician that I never get tired of listening to.
Fantastic! I've been hoping someone would upload this. I used to have it on VHS and played it to death. Vinnie is so great. The whole band are so tight. I still can't get that triplet thing that vinnie does on the cross stick during the samba bit whilst keeping the hi hat pattern going. I've been trying for 14 years! Thanks so much for this clip. Hopefully it will be released on DVD one day. No other drummer can do this stuff justice and a fair few have tried!
I´m a drummer too (a drummer girl, by the way), think I´ve got an answer to your question: It seems to be the way he´s holding his left-handed stick. That´s the way my drumming teacher does too, during he plays those or jazz rhythms, and then he can play very fast with just one hand. Don´t know how old you are, but I think that´s the way of some older generations.
MrGSpot3 - Thanks for posting this video - it was my fave from the Oslo gig. I'm a big Sting fan. Sancious is outstanding on this one. Any idea where I can get a copy in DVD? I used to have a VHS recording that I watched over and over and the taped has now been chewed up.
As far as I know there is no DVD version of this great concert published. I also have the VHS version and digitized it. I hope anyone will publish a digital remastered version of this concert...
David Sancious... Un FUCKING believable!!! I dont even like Sting, but you just have to appreciate that as a musician!!

Ja, das ist aus meiner Sicht auch mit grossem Abstand das beste Sting Line Up! Habe diese Tour 5x gesehen und war schwer beeindruckt!
Und... I am inlove with Vinnie.
