I'm leveling as Marksman/Ranger/Assassin, and the damage is just fine, I practically never die because of the boar and if I get more then one target I get the pet to hold the aggro by tabing and putting him on them. They still hit very hard, at least my current spec does.

Idk why you say assassin isnt that good of a questing soul... Its very good once you get to 25+ with the Asssassin+Riftstalker i can barley get hurt and i destroy everything in seconds...

@pandaburgar you can toss runes on your gear that boost your wisdom, as that is your MP5 stat, also use a Soul Tree Calculator to find a mana-return talent, like Aggressive Renewal, which becomes available after spending ten points in Inquisitor. Mind, if you don't want ranged caster talents, just spend five in Inner Focus and a combo in either Fanatic's Faith or Unholy Tutelage... Unholy Tutelage might be the better of the two for your purposes as it lowers the mana cost of spells.

You can sometimes hit blazing strike when the mob only has 3 combo pts for example when you know he has low health to finish it off. That's normally after you've built to 5 and used a finisher toward the beginning of the fight :) I'm 38 and still trying to find the best balance of survivability and damage. Thanks for the insight on the assasin, as I had sort of dismissed using that soul for now.

@kbdemonbain I just purchased the game last night..I played up to lvl 9....THE GAMES BLOWS BIG TIME..total let down...In short its a warhammer/wow/aion with better graphics...they failed to created a unique battle system its almost a clone of AION & WOW..im pissed just spent 53 bucks at the game stopcuz the said its awesome the best MMO ive played so far is AOC awesome battle system stunning graphics but once you hit lvl 80 the end game content is lame. they really fail at this game. grind fest

i;m having trouble soloing as a Bladedancer (bard/riftsalker offspec) i do alot of dmg but i get hit bery hard any idea why? :(

@PvPwithTotems Yeah, rogues tend to get hit very hard, and Bladedancer is no exception. With this build I have the Ranger pet tanking for me. At 30+ you have to lose the pet, though, so I recommend putting 20 points in Assassin for the leeching poison, which heals you.

Levelled as markmanship/ranger/saboteur (for dexterity+adhesive bomb) then at 38 or so i swapped to ranger mainspec for aoe power :P and now im usually pulling like 5-6 mobs my level and using rain of arrows :P fastest way to level, on 48 atm.

Though I still got my markmanship spec, its now my kiting spec :P did solo every group 2-3 quest by kiting and some major rifts.

@ertai222 Sure they nerfed it abit, atm im lvling as Marksman/Ranger/sab, with most points in Marksman (lvl 34 atm) And it kills almost as fast, if not just as fast as the spec cromar use in this vid. Id say marksman is a realy good spec to lvl with aswell, its a mather of playstyle i guess. Lots of ways to control the mobs with slow, knockback, roots , aoe slow and so on.

So even if they nerfed it, its realy good, with lots of kill cooldowns for random newbies that tries to gank you. :)
