  • BEEEEEEEEEYOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOTTTTTTTTTTTYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYFULLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL

    HORSEYYYYYYYYYYY

  • Ow! It could have been much worse! This is a beautiful horse.

  • so adorable

  • wrong song, but brave horse :)

  • such a beautiful horse

  • omg im so sorry

  • hes beautiful! what breed is he? warmblood?

He looks to be recovering very nicely. :)

  • It's sad that accidents happens. :( Beautiful horse. ;)

  • OMG!!!!!!!

  • what a gorgeous little man you have there, its a shame what happend.. but it could happen to anyone :/ glad all is well now though and hope the accident hasnt put him off loading a lil.. i know a friends horse had a simular incident and her horse refused to load... took her ages to persuade him again but she won him over xD

  • wow! hes a big boy

  • @mrhobbsrocks Why would you ask something like that???Anyway it told you how, a trailering accident, duh.

  • @hunterthehonkey At 2:53 is that flesh on the ground????

  • beatiful horse sorry for my bad spelling

  • Poor thing. He had like chuncks come out of him. But he is hopefully all healed by now.

  • THAT IS INSANE!

  • Aww

  • oomgg! he is the prettiest horse! and huge!!!!! i know you have probably been asked already.... but how did the accident occur?

well done on healing him! :D sooo happy he got better! what a big brave boy! :P

  • internal injuries, she has never been the same about floating horses to tht show since :()

  • gorgeous extremely brave horse :D a terrible thing happend to one of my friends...she was on her way to a show and her horse was being floated there, some idiot zoomed past and lost control, crashing into the trailor, crushing Bandit (the horse) and nearly killing him, luckily they werent far away from a show ground where vets assited them, obviously the show couldn't carry on, and she was too scared to float back home.. they kept him there to recover, he died a week later from serious...cont..

  • gorgeous horse :) he's a big boy, how tall is he? i love tall horses... so happy he's fully recovered now!!

  • you must have been so worried! im so glad he was alright!!

  • i love this video i like to see the way you take care you hourse becouse some another peoples they no have feeling they kill and that et ... good for you thas is really good video god blessyou

  • why would u tstand there and take pictures of ur hors ein bleeding pain its cruel it slike u smashing ur head open and bleeding thne ur mum standing there and taking pictures of ur head pouring out blood its cruel

  • @majortom123ify When a tragic event like this happens there isn't much you can so until the vet gets there. It isnt stated here what there horse went through besides a "trailer accident" but any accident that would cause this much destruction is traumatic for a horse so you have to stay calm. There was already one woman holding the horse and so another woman taking a picture is not "cruel." There could be many reasons for taking pictures of this right away, for example horse insurance

  • i love the seat thing behond you, where did you get it??

  • what a beautiful and brave horse!

  • Omg congradulations on helping him! God really appriciates that, it was nice that you didnt give up. Thx.

  • And that is why we do our travel boots up as tight as possible.

He's a lovely horse and in the picture at 2:44 doesn't even seem fazed!

  • @hannahbananaroxsox He's tranquilized.

  • @Nancysdunrabbit Still... I've known horses to still be a bit scatty when sedated, even though they were relaxed.

  • The picture @ 2:02 is adorable!

  • Not to be mean, but the title sounds like he died....lovely horse though!

  • I have a 13.1hh Conemmara X Welsh gelding, and keep him on a woring farm/livery yard with my other 2 mares. He got away from me walking to the field one day and fell down a cattle grid, totally shredding his front left leg. He was rushed to the vets and they miraculously managed to sew the leg back together. 6 months of bandages and box rest later, he was back in the field, a happy pony.

I was as blameless there as Hunter's owner is in this situation. Accidents happen, and they're noones fault.

  • To everyone blaming the owner - she is totally blameless! It could have happened to anyone, and she has coped magnificently, caring and nurturing hunter back to health! My mare fell in the trailer, for NO reason, and it was a travel boot that saved her leg from even worse injury. It's just unfortunate that Hunter's didn't work.

Stop being ignorant asshats and blaming his owner.

  • is hunter your's

    he looks really nice

  • Im so happy for you what a good boy how big ie he?

  • this is 100% why my horse doesn't wear any shipping boots or crap like that.

  • Hunter? i never heard about him!

  • did the floor give way or something?

  • i take care of a horse named hunter too!:)

  • i dont understand how accidents like this happen. take a walk around your trailer make sure no horses are tied to it, the doors shut, and no loops of rope like halters are laying around to tangle in horses feet! be more cautious and aware everyone. its rediculous how much crap people do without thinking.

  • @masterjake364 well there could have been a car acident which led to the hurting of this horse, im sure the owner was very good to him and the trailer was probobly checked!

  • @masterjake364

IM SURE youve made a mistake once in your life before, your not human if you dont

  • Sure glad your buddy is back!

You guys were both very lucky!

  • If you dont mind me asking, how did your accident happen? :( handsome and brave horse though! x

  • i luv horse and i hope hes ok now

  • ye, i think he just likes eating kids... lol

    awesome horse x

  • wow thats so amazing im glad you let him heal and not kill him like others would :)

  • Incredibly brave and beautiful horse, glad he is okay!

  • n'awww gentle giany <33

  • poor huntr that must of hurt

  • hunter looks like an amazing horse and is lucky to have you. :)

  • gracias por cuidarlo . eso es amor

  • hes like the perfectly behaved horse ! i 'ouched' a lot during this video So glad he recovered :)

  • That happened to me once but he sliced his leg open at a horse show same one, that your horse did. couldnt ride him for a month .... then we could slowly get him working again...... when i was able to get on him again.... i was about to cry...my accident caused me to go to the hospital in an ambulance!!

  • his gorgeous!!!!

  • Oh poor thing !! He's such a strong horse though ! He's gorgeous too xxx

  • Ohh! Poor horse!! :( He's very beautilful, brave and he's a pretty horse!! :) Good luck with "Hunter"!! =)

  • what a gorgeous strong mare !

  • ohh poor thing. he was so brave. glad to hear hes better now.

  • oddio povero hunter.

  • I said there's nothing wrong with it.I simply prefer English because it seems well "fancy".I never said Western didn't have any history just less, since it's techniacally newer.English was made by the monarch's and noble-men of England traced back to the Middle Ages.Western poor farm-hands in the American Southwest of the late 19th-century.Nothing wrong with either though.Admire horse-riders wether English or Western.I'm sorry if I offended anyone.

  • Good to know he's recovered. Also your an English rider just like me.Alway's prefered English.Seems to have an elegance, class, and history Western lacks.Though of course nothing wrong with Western.

  • @Tay5551 There's nothing wrong with western! I actually admire Western Horseback Riding even though I do English. Western DOES have history. It went through the old west and was used as working saddles. Western riders would use Western and go on Buckskin horses through the wilderness and through steep, dangerous mountains. I actually find Western Horseback Riding to be remarkable, and just covered in History.

  • the horse i used to ride had a similar injury. completely ripped open his back leg

  • Wonderful job of looking after you boy!

  • Wow, what a beautiful and brave horse!! I'm so glad he recovered, he looked like a wonderful and patient horse to put up with all those little kids :)

  • We had a young gelding who ran into the bumper of a large truck . it opened his chest like the page of a book. The tear was about 16 inches by 12 inches. we used a product called "Underwoods" use it with backing soda...i heals the injury from the inside out while the backing soda helps eats away the proud flesh,Amazing stuff...by the time the little man healed up you could not tell he had a n injury.....we swear by the stuff. glad to see your guy is better!

  • congratulation, U did perfect cares ;-D Nice pictures in your video.

  • that is one amazing horse. and a beautiful one at that.

  • i am happy that he is still alive

  • Aww Give Hunter a big kiss from his youtube fans <3 ;)

  • do u still have him

  • im so sorry that happened! im glad he is okay tho :)

  • boy tolerats more then humans are capable of.Poor thing.

  • pooor horseeee i hope he is so much better now and not frightned because of the accident! much love !

  • Hes a very brave horse , it looks like he lost alot of , blood , did he loose alot of blood ?

  • Oh, he is gorgeous! That accident looks NASTY! I felt so bad for him! Glad to hear he's better now.

  • arr bless !!! hes gorgeous and very brave !!what my friend does with her horse is but tendon boots on and celatapes them so they wont come off on all 4 legs and then puts travelling boots on top just if you wanted to try this or use it some time :)

  • bless him

  • Why do ya'll shave your horses? Does it have a puspose, besides looking odd?

  • @AshleighRSexton it it so they dont ge sweaty when you ride them

  • @AshleighRSexton theres a few reasons really, so they dont sweat as much when working/riding and also in winter it helps them dry off quicker so they dont get colder. i dont like how it looks either but it has to be done

  • @AshleighRSexton theres a few reasons really, so they dont sweat as much when working/riding and also in winter it helps them dry off quicker so they dont get colder. i dont like how it looks either but it has to be done also they aint shaved theyre clipped

  • is he alright now or what

  • What an upsetting video, it almost brought a tear to my eye. What a lovely horse you have, I am glad he has healed well and wish you every success with him in the future. I will certainly be thinking twice before putting travel boots on my chap again.

  • is he alright hope he is hes beautiful and those dam shippign boot >:O

  • I'm so sorry to hear he passed. He is a Gorgeous hourse

  • is he okay?

  • did he get put down?>

  • i had an andilusian that was used to a ramp and if she is put in a different slot other than the second one, she falls underneath the trailer. i am so glad this didn't happen to her!

  • Glad to see he's doing better!!! He is a beautiful boy!!

  • wow i have just bought a new horse and it took about 5 hours to drive her home, im glad she stood still al the way home

  • You can buy ramps for the step-down trailors and I think the shipping velcro boots are made to protect against minor bumps to those fragile bones in the trailor....I don't think anyone or anything could have predicted or protected him from a fall that horrendous. I'm glad to see he is...well...back on his feet, and that it didn't have any ill emotional damage from it.

  • what a great recovery! and did it get filmed in the Napa Valley?

  • poor horse T_T

  • AWWW He looks like such a good boy good thing he wuz heeled!!!!!!!!!!!

  • wow imagine the pain he was in he's soooo beautiful i hope hes okay now his blood was everywhere im glad you didnt have to send him to the slaughter house. xx

  • he is soooo pretty

  • ur such a good person.. :) most well some idk people would say oh crap ur good for nothing off to slaughter for you! .. thanks for saving your horse means alot

  • OW!!

  • hes a beautiful horse !!

  • Some boots just look pretty NOT safe. Thats what most makers do.

  • You are the wonderful loving caring kind of horse person that i admire and aspire to become.

  • awww thats soo sweet, lovely story :) x

  • omg your horse is stunning and looks so friendly like the ideal family horse your so lucking :) hes such a brave horse and so happy that he's now recovered :)

  • Poor horse. Good he is better now and good keep the bandage!

  • im glad he healed

  • Obviously, I wasn't there to see your particular accident, but most of the time when horses slide under the trailer while unloading, it's because the trailer isn't attached to the truck properly. Make sure, every time you hook up, that the truck and trailer are completely level. The front of the trailer being lower than the back causes almost all of these types of accidents!

  • omg i'm never using slipping boots again !!!! how horrible you must have been sooooooo worried about hunter :( glad he's better :)

  • OMG.... that's terrible....I'm so glad I came across your video before I invested in a pair of shipping boots.... wraps only for my boys.... I'll use your video as a cautionary tale for my friends...Thank you so much for posting this!! I'm so glad he's recovered... what a beautiful horse....

  • so you ride him again, but when tralliering you can't put shipping boots on?

  • I know how you feel

  • you can see on those fotos how happy that hores is

  • You have such a nice family and a beautiful, brave, strong horse. I hope that something like this never has to happen again to you, it's so tragic! Did you put bandages on his legs after he had to heal open?

  • That is one brave and super pretty horse :)

  • god bless him and ur family... he looks like a very safe and a very relaxed horse.....

  • did u ever get him in the trailer again? cuz someting like happend to my horse and we cant get him back in the trailer.

  • O my god! I'm so happy he recovered!

That must have been horrible for you and the horse!

i hope the riding goes well!

thanks for posting this, time for the shipping boots to go away haha

  • That had to be an enormous shock when that happened! But it's absolutely marvelous that he recovered alright! And I agree with a couple of people before me -- amazing that you gave him the chance to recover, I know people who would have put him to sleep right away, but this proves that horses can recover very well!

  • omg poor baby

    hes gorg

    pity tht happened

all the blood on the floor in one of the pics :'(

it must hav been scarey , for everyone

good thing tht he is better now :)

  • Thats ONe Beautiful Horse You Have He Is Amazing!

  • now it was ok???

  • Dam! you can see his shlong in one of the pictures!!

  • poor mare! :(

  • So happy he is better. He looks EXACTLY like the 'Hunter' at the barn I ride at! :D

  • Thats a shame, but he healed up nicely. I'm happy you guys put in the effort to heal him and didn't think he was useless and give him the final shot like so many do. He looks like a beautiful horse to ride, I'm jealous.

  • next time u sud get a tralier wiv a ramp :S tht is dreadfull :(

  • you've been lucky, my horsie was attacked by a dog and can't run anymore, it was 3 years ago, but it's not becouse she can't run that i'll leave her alone, she's my best friend!

  • Thanks for sharing this story with us. I empathise because my horse had a similiar injury after getting back legs caught down a cattle grid. Great news though as 7 mths on she is getting back into work slowly. We are lucky enough to tell the tale of our fabulous horses making it good!!

  • That's awful!

I'm glad he's ok and i'm glad you posted this video to warn people of the dangers of velcro boots!!

  • yup,

When I used to put wraps or any protection on my horses legs they would injure themselves trying to get them off.

    They are irritating to them.

More injuries with them on than without.

    So trash them.

Glad you had a good recovery.

  • He's a beautiful horse. You must have been devastated after his accident. Glad he has recovered ok

  • I'm glad he recovered from the accident :) such a beautiful horse you have ^^,

  • What a wonderful ending of a tragic accident. I`m glad he`s fine and ready to go back to his privious activity :)

  • we had horse who had a trailer accident too, he was a bit cut up around his hooves but nothing to bad. he died a few years ago from some internal problem, we still don't know what he died from and honestly i don't care anymore.

  • wat happened in teh accident? glad he recovered, my mare had 40+ stitches wen she kicked thru her stall (she nevr was a kicker but we say she rolled and extended thru the wall) but she is now back to showing and she off for about 2 months

  • Is that skin on the floor...?

  • bande d enculer vous croyait ke sa se fait de montrer sa en video putain vous vous an fouter de la blessure du cheval putan vous etes trop con

  • what a sweetheart he is so brave! and well done to you for looking after him so well and helping him through his ordeal i subbed you subb back?

    Xxteam cossyxX

  • a real gental giant

  • very sad and glad hes better! a lovely horsex

  • Do you now use bandages? Do you interwine bandages above a hock?

  • At 1:20 or somthin wot dus it say?

  • im so so glad hunter got better =) gives everyone hope that incidents that baddont always end in euthanasia. and i will certainly never ever travel my pony in boots, bandages all the way, even if they are more time consuming, not worth it. guess im lucky last season he travelled naked lukily hes a chilled out babba

  • I fervently believe that had your horse not had the show/life experience he would not have recovered so nicely. Horses that have been handled more tend to progress quicker through an injury partly because they allow the care giver to care for the injury and tolerate all that is required to recover. It is difficult for a horse to be stall bound for recovery and you must be a lovely equestrian to have brought him through a potentially career ending accident with such positive results.

  • heey i know what you've been thruth.. my mare had a broken bone, but with suggery she would and is completly recovered. now 1 and an half year later we do dressage, jumping and even a bit eventing again and she's her crazy bitchy self again. i wish you'll have many nondoctor years ahead with hunter greetzz

  • Thank you for posting these pictures. Any horse owner that has gone thru a tramatic injury with their horse would appreciate it and know they are not alone out there. I've been through a few tough ones but not this extreme.

  • the kind of person who is very grateful that her horse recovered and is now back to riding, jumping, dressage.... and hoping that through posting the photos someone else doesn't think a horse travelling in velcro shipping boots is 100%safe!

learn by others mistakes so you and your horse don't have to go through this anguish!

Hope that makes sense to you?!

  • @hunterthehonkey

Well put hunterthehonkey. Maybe Eijikakashikuran should look to the left and see all the truly horrific things going on in the horse world which people CHOOSE to do.

Thanks for sharing. I have considered putting float boots on my horse. Won't now though.

    Cheers for now. Ann

  • shipping boots are awesome if they fit right and it is very hard to get good ones so your prob right to just do raps from now on. i can tell you love you horses very much and im sorry this happened to you beautiful boy :( its hard to see that kind of stuff happen to horses expecaly when they ear soo loved:)

  • ARE*** lol

  • @hunterthehonkey the title says last 7 months. i thought that meant it died

  • ur poor horse!! hes sooo lovely!

  • where was this taken? was it spain?

  • it is in California.

  • oh my god. my deepest sympathies to him and you. gosh, he must have been in excrutiating pain.

  • dont like the song. brave horse though
