  • While he is wrong on global warming, Inhofe is right on the subject of taxation and the government's response. If one wants to make real changes, one needs to make incentives towards alt. energy technologies more cost efficient. Taxing negative externalities, carbon in particular, may decrease the consumption, but the world, USA in particular will not cease in its consumption of carbon if the alternatives are not less expensive. all this will amount to is another tax.

  • in laments terms, if coal production is less expensive than solar plants, than coal will continued to be used, irregardless of govt. restrictions and fees, i.e taxes. I'm sick and tired of economic lapses on capitol hill.

  • I seem to remember BUSHs "midnight regulations" Right before he left office. He tried to Make it easier for coal companies to dump waste from strip-mining into valleys and streams. Why did he do it you ask? To pay off big business allies of the Republican party AND as a bonus, sabotage the Obama administration. Senators like Inhofe are simply taking over where Bush leff off. Inhofe voted against the Franken amend. which gives the rights for Jamie Leigh Jones to take her gang rapist to court.

  • I am a big fan of people who can't take the time to spell out the insults they want to sling. I mean WTF. You POS, really :)

  • The re-election votes for Senetor Inhofe come from people (good and bad people) outside the scientific community. He is speaking to and for those individuals, not the commited group who seek the facts of climate change. His opinions are to be placed in the same file where birthers and flat-earthers lay. Opinions are valid on the senate floor so far as they do not contaminate the rights of tax paying citizens. His opinions, therefore, are null and void and evidence should be professed.

  • And Kerry's come from the scientific community? How much research have you done?

  • Kerry, and his relatives, are not members of the scientific community and I did not say as much. I wish that the voters who elect our next Congress were aware of evidence, not the ideological positions of those who hold that office. Be angry at the people who lie to you, who need your vote, who don't give two shits what your youtube comment states. Try reading peer-reviewed articles instead of op-eds.

  • I agree with you. The only difference is I think people like Al Gore and the like are the ones lying. Global warming, (man's role in it), is way over blown. The data does not reflect what so many simply accept as truth. Pushing Cap and trade etc. is only going to destroy our already teetering economy.

  • Get lost, you hatemongering descendent of Lenin. You Leftists are absolutely frightening demonizers.

  • Seeking factual evidence makes me a descendent of Lenin? Looking for votes makes a politician exactly what he/she is. Thank you for the hate-filled name calling while pretending you don't hate and therefore are somehow better.

  • Your bigotry makes you what you are, you POS. Don't act like you didn't post insults, you typical lying Leftist.
