  • Why is this 40CC engine more powerful than a 50cc engine?????

  • @mememojo actaully more powefull than some 200c engines. This is because it's not based off crude hedge trimmer technology and instead uses 4 transfer ports, a boost port and twin exhaust ports shaped in a sleeved bore featuring angled radiused outlets. It's the same reason why a 160cc mower will just plod along but a 125cc dirt bike will make you feel like your going to die. I will send you a link with my worklog it will explain better.

  • @mememojo Cause that 40cc engine is a 2 time engine and the 50cc with u are comparing to is probably a 4 time engine

  • How many CC's is that and what type of engine is it and how fast is top speed?

  • @bRadicalmagic1 40cc, blata rep engine aka "F1 aircooled" and the top speed is limited by revs right now to 70kmh / 44mph. I am in the middle of a rebuild and I am aiming for 100kmh / 62mph with harder gearing. I didn't dare floor it but with a 2 second pull of the throttle my go-kart tacho said 15,000RPM, it didn't even remotely sound like it wanted to slow down when I got off the throttle either.

  • jesus that looks like mad fun!

  • wear a helmet

  • 9hp my a$s

  • @ahohman ha disbeleiver! no seriously why do you doubt? This is a B1 rep engine not a crude goped engine

  • @Samqdf Yeah i have a mac 49 90cc engine making 13hp with a power bend up the ass...:)

  • @gokartmaster123 I had a look at your videos and I have to say I very much like what your doing there

  • cool and fast the motor should be put on a pocket bike yea

  • @gaspowerrules no even though it's intended for a pocket bike I prefer the scooter thanks, infact I scrapped a pocket bike for the parts to make it, I although I have very little of the original parts left

  • @Samqdf ok maybe a go cart or mini bike if not still really cool scooter

  • how did you get a blata rep to fit :S

  • @pikeybear my website has more info, its s-86 . com without the spacers. Lets just say my grinder is my friend!

  • Lol I get you do you sell any parts though to make one

  • @pikeybear well I can't get aircooled B1 rep engines in this country anymore, I can get water-cooled but they are not cheap.

  • well do you sel brackets for them to fit

  • @pikeybear without a Go-ped in my possession no I can't.

  • lol you never said what engine it had we talked about thr carb and you had a motor bike engine in it thats all lol what engine yyou have in it a polini?

  • @pikeybear the enigne is called an F1 Blata rep. 40cc aircooled blata copy engine, 5 ports modified with 19mm carb and 2 of triple stage reeds fitted. It doesn't have a model code or anything like that

  • i just bought a goped sport you got any tips to tune it up?

ps how did you tune it to go that fast im shocked how fast it goes

  • @pikeybear Go to Daves motors and bring a roll of cash! hehehe. As for mine I cheated I just fitted an engine that's based on a performance motorbike engine instead of a utility engine. If you think thats fast you should see what I have done now. Thought you might also be interested to know I now have all the bits to put it back together. I really need a video that's not so crap, but I have something special in mind.

  • @Samqdf what engine does it have what what do you recomend i buy for my g260rc

  • @pikeybear mines called an F1 Blata rep, but it would be too hard to adapt to your scooter. I suggest a power pipe for a start and then if you have the cash a big bore kit

  • @Samqdf you must have added more stuff to the engine as i have a f1 blata mini moto and it dont go this fast lol

  • @pikeybear oh yeah I forgot I ran a 19mm carby instead of the 14mm one. I hear from reliable sources that takes the power from 7hp to 9hp. Also keep in mind my scooter is only 22kg (48lb).

  • lol what engine you for in it though :)

  • @pikeybear sorry you lost me, care to rephrase?

  • How fast does it go at WOT? Nice ped and pipe btw!!

  • right now its limited by gearing, so according to my friends car behind me it's 70km/h (44mph). But with the new engine rebuild and another change in gearing I am hoping for 100 (63mph)

  • 44MPH? Now that's some fast stuff! My GSR Cruiser will go 30MPH which isn't too bad. But if you can get that thing up to 63MPH, that will be crazy! Don't be going 63MPH on the trail though. lol

  • what engine have you got in it

  • This is fast!! I want one lol :-)

  • Wow!

  • stay tuned my engine rebuild is in progress

  • awesome fuckin scooter fast as hell

  • I modified the frame to have part of a pocket bike rear fork in it. So I use the standard rear wheel off a pocket bike with the disk brakes and all. I will send you a message for a link to my worklog and maybe you can send me some pictures and I can tell you how to fix your problem.

  • g'day, how did you mount the sprocket on the rear wheel because i made one like this but with a 49cc cag and the sprocket spins but the wheel dosnt.

  • u maunted it backwards

  • nah it was just freewheeling but its fixed now

  • hi, I will send you a private message with a link to a worklog I have. As for the engine your right its an aircooled version of the "watercooled pocket bike engine". Its quite uncommon here but lukily many watercooled parts fit.

  • hey nice scooter im from aussie u got a llink or url u can post on my page so u can c som epics cheers sam and wat sort of engine u using looks like a non water cooled 1 ay

  • can u send me info on the scotoer? like ngine specs and stufff?

  • wow thats fast i want one!

  • hell , left side trafic? must England or NZ?

  • australia

  • Nice! I always wanted to build one with my spare 4t maxi scoot engine. Too bloody scary tho.

What size of wheels are you running on it? Direct drive? or chain/belt? & id like the photos links please :)

take it easy & take care!

  • these are pocket bike wheels, too quite some work to make them fit. Its a chain drive and I woudln't bother with anything else. I will send you a message with the link for my build.

  • that would be funny if he skid out and got hit by a car and his scooter got stollen by a negro

  • hahahahahahahahaha

  • That would be funny if he crashed though.

  • you would of laughed yourself stupid if you saw what happened the first time I rode it then. I applied a little too much power and it just flipped me off.

  • damn what kinda motor is that?

  • its known as an F1 engine or as a C1, blata rep, etc.. Its 40c and has nothing in common with go-peds, pocket bikes and other scooters that have an engine thats a similar design to leaf-blowers and chainsaws. Send me a message and I will give you a link to some pics if your interested

  • yo can u send me some info on the scooter...it seems really cool

  • ok will do

  • It always amazes me how someone can be smart enough to build a thing like that. But they are too damn stupid to wear a helmet, The longer you live the more stupid shit you can do later !

  • you have no argument from me, although its no justification it was only during testing and it is more powerfull now. I do however only use a full motorbike helmet and will probably start using my motorbike leather jacket also.

  • Thank you for now being safe, That opens up a longer span of time to be crazy, I know from experience.

  • holy FUCK!!

  • are gopeds street legal in USA?

  • beats me this is Australia, and the power limit is 200W at the wheel(s), at around 7000 at mine I am a wee bit over!

  • in NY--NYC its completely illegal.

upstate orange county, its legal to a certain degree.

  • Imagine a Goped is legal. Some kid could drive one down the freeway, weaving in and out of 18-wheeler traffic. Now you know why they arn't. They are sidewalk friendly. However, thank god the US doesn't have powerlimits.

  • oh, i meant that you could ride them to places legaly. not on the highway... is it legal on sidewalks ?

  • Pretty much yes, you can ride them on sidewalks and streets just stay away from cars. If a cop catches you he will only tell you to stay out of traffic. In more liberal states I heard they will give you a fine. Not here in Texas though.

  • Wow man nice work how did that cost to give 9 HP my goped is like 1-2 hp and it goes 30 mph whats the tops on that 1??

  • well the cost was buying the motorbike race engine, its a sleved cylender with a V block type reed design, so it will have more power than any go-ped engine ever will without nitrous. Right now it maxes out at 70km/h (43mph) however thats because I run out of revs, some revised gearing and I think I will go significantly faster again.

  • Doooooooooooouche!

  • damn straight

  • when you go on the street you alot faster

  • kk lol

  • ride it on the street!

  • wait for the next video

  • Hey dude , Sweet ped !

Just curious to know the name / Mark of the engine ? :)

    Ty

  • Its a direct copy of a Blata 5 port engine, they are known under many names such as an F1 engine, Blata rep, C1 engine, etc...

  • So in Theory , same engine as my Brother's Blata Origami B1 ?

  • is it a genuine B1 engine?

  • Haha yeah , he decided it would be worth paying the extra money when my jap copy blew up and the piston came through the petrol tank :D

  • ok then that means mine would be a direct replica of that engine. So much so I can swap parts between them.

  • that's sweet.... i'm glad that speed limit doesn't *really* apply to the pathway...

  • hahahaha, I like your thinking!

hey good news my scooter is almost fully fixed up so if my head exhaust stud mod works I will be back in buisness.

  • how fast does that go

  • 70km/h (43mp/h) according to my friends car that followed me, however that was the same up a hill as it was on a flat because I was limited by revs. I am sure I would get a heap more if I change my gearing again.

  • how many cc's?

  • 40cc, it has a 39 x 39mm bore/stroke

  • how the hell does it have 9hp if it is only

40cc? i thought it would be like 65 or somthing!

  • its basicly a race engine and shares next to nothing in common with normal 2 strokes used in things such as other scooters or garden tools. It has 4 transfer ports and a boost port to trasfer the air into the chamber and has twin exhuast ports so big they overlap the intakes by going above them. It uses two x triple stage reeds which feed directly between the barrel and the crankcase in a V shape for max flow. If you like I can send you a message with a link for pics

  • ok,

  • still waiting for a new video

  • yeah I would love to and was about to when something bad happened. I fitted a new chain and took it for a test ride, it lasted till the bottom of the hill untill it snapped damaging my bellhousing. I have another bellhousing and chain to fit but I need the time to set it all up properly and also fit a chain tensioning pulley.

  • cool. as long as you have it up in less than 2 weeks. we are exited.

  • sorry dude, not going to happen unless work sends me home for a week for no valid reason. BTW just curious why do you like Go-peds more? they compact size and light weight?

  • you can buy them, and tons of aftermarket parts. that's a really cool scooter, but making it would be hard

  • yeah I see where your coming from, also you get out of the box reliability, something I have to work for. Admitedly when I am done it should be completely reliable when I am done.

  • is that australia? if so, what city?

  • it is, it's in the S.E suberbs of victoria

  • i recognised it from the speed limit signs!

  • Crazy! How long did it take you?

  • hmm hard to say, maybe 3 weeks of 8 hours each? I will send you a link to my worklog

  • That's sweet! You would be dead if you crashed though. How much money (roughly) have you put into it?

  • excluding the nitrous kit rougly $500 AU dollars! so not a major amount for what it is

  • One thing to say : wear a helmet

  • your right, it was just an early trial running when I wasnt yet running full power. I nowdays use a proper motorcross helmet.

  • lol nice that thing ripped it up

  • that was amazing....I don't know what else to say. That thing was only at half throttle!

  • i like gopeds better. but nice work

  • hey thanks, I have some big updates now: I choped my scooter in half and have entended it 100mm (4") I am also redoing a rear section of the frame, stay tuned!

  • hey thanks for the reply lol thats awesome i havent seen many people in auustralia. the only thing toping me is will i get hassled heaps by the police? im in sydney

  • well if you had this thing they would probably lock you up! This scooter is louder than just about all cars at full noise. Also you might be interested I have the engine apart right now and I have found some serious limitations to the flow into the engine and ports, I am working on it now and I should have a decent power boost when I am done.

  • still gopeds will always be slow no matter what engine u put in them.

  • I have been trying to tell a friend that, I mean I have trouble keeping mine under control I cant think what it would be like with the shorter wheelbase and their stupid suicide type head castor angle. I plan on extending my scooter 150mm (6 inch) to make it more stable again. Anyway I plan on filming an uncoming race with that friend, he thinks I have no chance so it should be interesting.

  • hey thats awesome

Tell me wen u get bored of it lol

    BTW is that in Asutralia

  • if I ever get bored of it I will modify it some more!

Yes I am in Victoria, australia

  • good news! I have finished changing my ignition coil and my scooter runs great again. I have tested it and the revs maxed out at 70KMH (44MPH) as measured by a friend in a car behind me. I will change the gearing soon if I get a chance and that should get me to 90KMH (56MPH) and hopefully over 100 with some engine mods. I hope to do more videos soon.

  • wow that shits slow my goped goes 40-41mph and it dosnt even have 9hp

  • If its not a fast-forward clip you scoot is CRAZY!

  • no it isnt! hehehe, good news, I changed the ignition coil and it runs again I should have another video soon.

  • more vids!!!

  • all in due time, I am doing a bit or service work on it right now

  • tuff.

  • kewl, wat kinda motor?

  • Its a 7 port B1 balata rep- 40cc with twin triple stage reeds in a V block fed by a 19/19 Dell'orto rep carb. More power is on the way and then my nitrous kit I own...

  • thank you buddy...i will check it out

  • the link isnt working dude...

  • I have sent you a message with the link in it to make it easier for you

  • can u please explanin to me how u managed to get that motor setup no the scooter? its excellent you guys

  • thanks, I have put a link in the description that has my worklog, you will need to cut and paste it directly into your web browser

  • helmet!!!

    Sup dead.

  • yeah I know, I did look for it and I couldnt find it, next time I will have it for sure

  • entertaining, to say the least

  • HaHa, your insane mate, you shouldn't have been allowed to build that, Well Done s**
