I think that it is probably comparable to Gould. Of course, they are completely different players, so not comparable in a musical sense, but in the level of musicianship, they are both up there with the best.

Quite good...BUT can't be compared to Gould's one!

Pianistically, I prefer the 1981 Gould recording to Perahia's, but I can't stand Gould's humming.

It's just one of those things where I find it hard to focus on the music after I hear the humming.
