Making decisions of who is going to win is beyond the network's control it will depend to the panel of judges during the annual coronation night. with all due respect, the opening and choreograph is well prepared, although when I watched it live there is a problem with the globe stuff.. every show has it flaws.. and it can be edited on air (i guess) even MISS U, they are doing some rehearsals first before going on air..
i like the stage, the total presentation, although the gowns worn by the deleagates are not impressive..

The last time i was in the Philippines , i was at the Gay pageant in Pasay City, that was even better than this one. The posing of the dancers behind the girls is just unnecessary...
this is the cheapest of all producition numbers! poorly made and executed!to think it's a national pageant (picking girls for international pageants!) the lights, the set and the concept! nakakalito! this is the combination of all concepts! nothing oroginal pati format! OMG! ang gulo... ! i lost respect for binibining pilipinas as a whole! can't they produce something better than this? this is nothing to compare with MIss Cebu! buti pa ang miss gay sa baryo! calling madam araneta!
I've seen this before ... Madonna Sticky and Sweet Tour Opening with the video wall turning... Miss Universe with the girls been flashed back on stage, the coats... my God... You're absolutely right
they ruined Beyonce's song by turning it into some cheaply executed techno version. the opening number is way too long. and every year, it's almost the same choreography where the girls parade in a coat and then disrobe. those plastic lawn chairs they used in the dance is so cheap. they tried to make the pageant look updated, but the image of bb pilipinas will still be of a pageant run by dinosaurs.
my candidates for the last bb. pilipinas pageant were contestants #s 2, 12, and 24! among 5winners only melody of bicolandian ang boto ako na karapatdapat ang pagkapanalo niya .

wow! i think this is the best opening number in the history of binibining pilipinas. i've been reading the comments and i think otherwise. the set design is superb! at least the organizers did go away with the usual stage design. ang ganda talaga, parang ung mga opening numbers ng ms universe and ms world - hi-tech ang dating. sana ito na ang start ng improvement ng organizers, that is being at par with the other international beauty contests at least when it comes to stage design. keep it up!
i watch this event live in araneta. i paid for 5000 plus and i got a sit right at front in d VIP patron section. its not worthed! i just wasted the money, my time, and its very exausting! i could say, buying the most expensive ticket and watching that show is one of the biggest mistake ive ever done this year! and i rate it -27M... this portion was retaked after the whole itroduction of candidates, kasi yung mirror ball did not fully turned, pansinin nyo nung bumababa silang 3, yung mirror ball medyo tabingi na, sa Araneta when it started around 8:30 pm, na stuck up yung mirror ball and people could not see Chot Fernandez that's why they have to reshoot some parts of the opening.
They'd just copied the Opening from Madonna's Sticky and Sweet Concert 2008 with video walls and the turning of the platform for the three beauty Queens. thanks for the info about the blue ball got stuck.
I think the production is not much grand like the past years, especially the lame sound of the music with high pitched girls singing. At to inform you my friends, flashing of the girls from the dressing group is the same as it as on last year's Miss Universe Opening. And the Unoriginal backdrop of the stage. watch my Madonna Concert live in Zurich, you will see what I'm trying to say...I wish someone is able to change for something Original and good. Co'z this will be seen worldwide.

aniway28, thanks for uploading. my friends & i watched it live at d araneta last nite & i wanted to see how it was presented on tv bcoz back there, a lot of people, including me, felt that we've been short changed. d ticket prices were a bit high (3k+ at d lower box where we sat & 5k for d front seats) that's why we expected for a rather extravagant production number, fabulous stage designs & great performers. it's a good thing that they came up w/ a good batch of winners this year.

dapat talaga may sariling franchise na ang pilipinas ng miss universe para kahit papaano, mas elegant at prestigious ang pageant. maganda rin naman ang bb pilipinas kaso di ko gusto ung type ng kanilang concept, sa stage pa lang, di na maganda eh, masyadong maraming design at hindi nagmukhang beauty pageant, mas nagmukhang festival at mardi gras ung pageant, masyadong makulay.

GMA 7 has been partners with the Bb Pilipinas Chariry Foundation I believe they have done there part in putting up a good show and production for the audiences. Making decisions of who is going to win is beyond the network's control it will depend to the panel of judges during the annual coronation night. I've seen for myself how much time, effort, and hard work they put into their craft.

with all due respect, the opening and choreograph is well prepared, although when I watched it live there is a problem with the globe stuff.. every show has it flaws.. and it can be edited on air (i guess) even MISS U, they are doing some rehearsals first before going on air..
i like the stage, the total presentation, although the gowns worn by the deleagates are not impressive..
how i wish BPCI will have a stage wherein every step of the delegate the floor lights out..

pano naging cheap? kasi sa Crowne Plaza Galleria Hotel Ballroom lang ginawa? kasi po wala ng makuhang venue that time...lahat may naka-book ng event, eh since spomnsor din nila yun edi go na... at imposibleng mag araneta Coliseum ang Miss Earth kasi hindi papayag si Madame, at take note, kung magkakaroon ng Miss Universe ulit dito hindi nila gagwin sa araneta Coliseum kasi hindi pasado sa MUO, nung 1974 at 1994 nga eh hindi dun ginawa ang Coronation Night, yung National Costume Show lang...

they ruined Beyonce's song by turning it into some cheaply executed techno version. the opening number is way too long. and every year, it's almost the same choreography where the girls parade in a coat and then disrobe. those plastic lawn chairs they used in the dance is so cheap. they tried to make the pageant look updated, but the image of bb pilipinas will still be of a pageant run by dinosaurs.

wow! i think this is the best opening number in the history of binibining pilipinas. i've been reading the comments and i think otherwise. the set design is superb! at least the organizers did go away with the usual stage design. ang ganda talaga, parang ung mga opening numbers ng ms universe and ms world - hi-tech ang dating. sana ito na ang start ng improvement ng organizers, that is being at par with the other international beauty contests at least when it comes to stage design. keep it up!

i watch this event live in araneta. i paid for 5000 plus and i got a sit right at front in d VIP patron section. its not worthed! i just wasted the money, my time, and its very exausting! i could say, buying the most expensive ticket and watching that show is one of the biggest mistake ive ever done this year! and i rate it -27M... this portion was retaked after the whole itroduction of candidates, kasi yung mirror ball did not fully turned, pansinin nyo nung bumababa silang 3, yung mirror ball medyo tabingi na, sa Araneta when it started around 8:30 pm, na stuck up yung mirror ball and people could not see Chot Fernandez that's why they have to reshoot some parts of the opening.

I think the production is not much grand like the past years, especially the lame sound of the music with high pitched girls singing. At to inform you my friends, flashing of the girls from the dressing group is the same as it as on last year's Miss Universe Opening. yan uso ngayon kahit sa mga international events...may lcd screen na sa background, kesehodang Miss Universe, World, International, Earth, Oscars, Globes, Grammys, Nuestra Belleza de Venezuela, Femina India, Miss USA or simpleng University pageant or concert hindi mawawala ang video wall.... haaaaaaaaaayyyyyyy

aniway28, thanks for uploading. my friends & i watched it live at d araneta last nite & i wanted to see how it was presented on tv bcoz back there, a lot of people, including me, felt that we've been short changed. d ticket prices were a bit high (3k+ at d lower box where we sat & 5k for d front seats) that's why we expected for a rather extravagant production number, fabulous stage designs & great performers. it's a good thing that they came up w/ a good batch of winners this year.

anong pang universe???? parang nanood lang ako ng SOP!!! pangit tingnannnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn pati na yung selection of music sa gown.... sa miss universe fast paced ung pag rampa... sa binibini makalumaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa talaga. pang 80's pa rin ung format.... yawnnnnnnnnnn

"San ka man naroroon?" manlamang rnb diba? kacheapan talaga!!! kahit pa sabihin mong pang 80's mas maganda pa din yung format ng MISS UNIVERSE Evening Gown b4 yung you are my star with little sisters kaysa sa evening gown dito, tapos ang background mukha nila! hindi manlang ginawang scenic view ng mga city lights or stars.....

yung mga napapangitan sa opening sige next year kayo mag produce ha kala nyo sino kayong ang gagaling mamintas mga pinoy tlaga kaya hindi umaasenso buhay mahilig sa inggit
