Drake and Morwenna were sooo sweet and he was the only one who really loved her. Everyone else betrayed her (Ossie and Rowella), and Drake just kept waiting for her ('cause the Mary Ann thing was really Demelza's idea and he was not in love with her). I was so happy when they finally got to be together in the end and that they got married. It was the sweetest ending.

Yes, I remember them changing the actor for Dr. Enys. Richard Morant was in the first series. Changed to Michael Cadman for the second.

Yes they were both good in the role, but morant, the first one was better, but cadman was also very good.

Nice video and a good choice of music. I found Dwight and Caroline's relationship the most touching in the series. I was pretty disappointed when they changed the actor that played Dwight (they definately did Jello) as he was my favourite character by far and the new guy they got in was frankly appaling in my opinion. I know his experiences as a prisoner of war were haunting him, but even so his acting and charisma were far below the standard of the original. Ah well, great series, great vid!

i like the dwight/caroline relationship, but my favourite is drake and morwenna. In fact, it is my favourite on screen romances ever- I love that bit where drake says to morwenna ,'we belong to each other dont we?' Not usually a 'ah, romance' kinda girl, but that story really got to me.

Have you seen the end of the poldark series, because Drake and Morwenna get married after that sick husdand of her's dies. (I can't remember his name.) I hate that guy so much. He is pure evil.

Poldark was the best series ever by the BBC. I, too, was just a kid when it first aired but never missed an episode.

I agree. It was so awseome. I wish there was more than 24 hour of it. (There are 12 videos, and each video is 2 hours long.)

I would have loved to include Dwight and Caroline's marriage, but they changed the actor who played Dwight in the second series, and I thought having two different Dwights would be much too confusing! I love thier relationship too. They do not change the actor fro dwight in the second seiries. The only reason that i might seen that way is beacuse his hair and outfits change. He is a diferent person in the second series, but he is still played by the same actor. If you listen closly to his voise you can tell that is it the same actor.

living in that prison for so long and seeing all the pain changed him, body and soul but not it didn't change the actor.

When this series was played back in the 70's, I was only 8 years old, but I loved it so much, I never missed an episode! I would love to see it all again!

I was about the same age as you when I watched it with my mother. I know you can purchase the videos. My sister got them on VHS tape, but they were expensive. Check Suncoast video, I think thats where she got them.
