mode 7 is a fromula for layering sprites, nintendo marketed it as a console feature yet it can be done on aything that is 16bit or above.

I think all Batman & Robin adventures games are awesome. The SNES one is the best in "emulate" the 90's animated show style. But this one is like the most arcade feeling of all of them. Im happy that this game is hard enough...why all the games must be for rookies? Now im playing the Sega CD game of B&R and is awesome too, but im shure many people must be complaining cause is too much for them... sad :( btw i still cant beat the last scene of the sega cd one :( maybe on a couple of days... :)

Sorry ColorsBright, you're just way off on this one. I worked at Sega when this game was being developed and I was (and still am) a Nintendo fanboy, but this is one of the 5 best non-Sonic Genesis games ever made, period. And it kicks the crap out of the SNES version, too. Gunstar Heroes was probably the only side-scrolling shooter on Genesis that was any better than this game. Controls were tight, music was great, and the tuning was not for the faint of heart. CLASSIC!

The Super Nintendo version is much better. The snes looks more like the animated series and the missions were much better. This version is fast and sloppy looking at most times. The only good thing about this is you could pick Robin but other than that I didnt like this version.

epic fail is you beeing narrow minded.maybe this game only has the label batman and robin slapped on it and maybe this game has nothing to do with the perscription of the series.maybe this is just a batman game and damn this sounds and looks good with no Slowdow or slowness at all( ehem snes version).

and why apic fail for me when i enjoy this game you seem to can't enjoy it while youre here looking at the video,how strange not satusfied with your're snes version? was it to easy.the tile says batman and robin and not batman and robin the cartoon series,yes you can play with batman and aswel robin that is what it says . @ColorsBright The SNES version stays truer to the original source, that's true. But even with that, the Mega Drive/Genesis is a much better game, with superior graphics and gameplay. And I personally like the music in the Mega Drive/Genesis version more. It's pretty much the same that happens with Aladdin for both the Mega Drive/Genesis and the SNES, with the SNES version staying truer to the original source but with the Mega Drive/Genesis being a much better game in graphics and gameplay.

This reminds me of a Batman and Robin inspired Treasure game, similar in substance and difficulty to Gunstar Heroes.... Awesome.

no way hose Gunstar was far from difficult it was tasty but not difficult.this game is mad but i bet if you know it it is easier.this is for the hardcore players at least this is challenging but far from cheap coting you some controllers :p.

@emmazepp The best way would be to download a rom and play it on an emulator, then you can play all the music from the option menu.

Also, this is the Euro (PAL) version of the game, which features an electro theme. The North American (NTSC) version had a hard-rock theme, so make sure you find the PAL one.

made the mode 7 look tame? try using the regular sega genesis version, instead of the sega cd version. there 2 different versions in itself.

The Sega CD version of this game is completely different (not saying this version is bad). I'm so glad I got it. It is only driving levels after the great feedback they got from the driving levels of Batman Returns. I have to open the damn thing soon. It's been close to 10 years since I got it.

the genesis was never meant to handle such effects but using special programming tricks it become all possible.incredible!!!!!!!

I owned this game! we were too poor to buy playstation 1 so we sticked to playing this game for 7 years. Until I finally got a ps2. nice!

this game is the sega 16-bit miracle!it's in my top five list of best videogames of all times.definately my favourite for megadrive.i am so freakin' good at it!completing it without losing life every time.(even with the least powerful weapon).hardcore gaming all around!make me feel extatic!!!and great videos by the way.
