This says it all exactly how I felt and still feel about you but know it will never be the same so at least I know someone else understands or this song never would have been written. Take Care
This was palyed at the funeral of my wife, who passed away just four months from our golden wedding. It still brings tears to my eye whenever I play it. We really did "have it all."
this is the song I played at my husbands funeral. My little daughter & myself love Dollys music & cant wait to see her on the 2nd Sept in Birmgingham. Thank you ms Parton for getting us through the worst of times. x
@dawnclaytonternhill Which Birmgingham are you in is it United Kingdom or Alabama???? I saw Dolly @ the Opry in 2000 but I would give anything to see her in a full concert. She should come to Jamaica
@DOLLYWAYNE38 . Hi there, Dolly is touring the UK so its not Alabama, lucky for me. :-) This will be the second time I've seen her. The first time in Manchester UK a few years ago. the hairs stood up on the back of my neck & I had tears in my eyes from begining to the end! I'm taking my 8 year old daughter this time & she cant wait, she knows the words better than I do !! It is a bit too far to come if your in Jamacia lol, but I hope you can get to see Dolly again soon. x
I hate you, but love this song the words and meaning. I don't hate you Jamaica is not far from USA we just don't have people with the know how to get her here they got others such as Kenny Rogers. I know her price isn't but I'm sure she'd do it @discounted rate Your 8 yr old daughter know the words to the songs, wonderful grow her up on good music w/good value so she can see girls don't have to be half nude to make it & nothing is wrong w/being sexy but something must be left to the imagination
what an absolutely beautiful song, my Lord is there not anything this singer/songwriter Dolly Parton can't sing, and sing it so effortlessly? just so much beauty in her, and her music. I vote Dolly Parton as President of these United States of America. she's my hero... COA ...
what a beautiful song, wow just unbelievable voice, lord how she makes it so very easy. how can today's radio not see the utter lack of talent in today's country singers and songs.
my wife thinks this is pretty song
