I still think it's funny that the english title of 舞HiME　is My HiME, as if it was written マイHiME　lol...

(for clarification: Maihime (舞姫) means something along the lines of dancing girl- which Nagi is referring to multiple times throughout the series- and マイ Is just "My" written in Katakana- the japanese alphabet for foreign words).

Well, when some people from China came over, we could hardly understand their accents! I just heard a bunch of mushed-up sounds! The Chinese may be able to understand you, but it would be really hard.

I think it's because the sounds in Chinese are so different from Japanese, and the vowels have more variation in chinese. Im Japanese you have five vowel sounds, and like, that's it, even with all the syllable combinations, still only five sounds. Harder to imitate to make combinations and sound right.
