You go Mark Trammell...this was the Cathedrals that I fell in love with when I was in high school and first introduced to Southern gospel music at The Battle of Songs at Will Rogers Auditorium in Fort Worth, TX
That wasnt a guess, I know what I'm talking about. I have the VHS and I've watched it at least a hundred times. George is not even singing. You can plainly here the sound system blare an echo when Mark starts his second verse.
it was an act, he did this when ever he thought george was adlibing too much. if you watch this same song on other sites, he has the same expression at the same time. watch the 'train song' and they will all give george that look, everytime. george had the same jokes, cutups, etc, but dumb me enjoyed them every time
mark has his own trio called the tramell trio which is quite popular. his son also was voted a newcomer award for singing with another group in sgm. when he won the award he rubbed it in to his father for letting another group give him his start rather than his own dad. mark also sang for gold city for many years.
Mark is featured on this song. I think that this was the best line-up of the group and probably the best in Southern Gospel Music. Cannot wait to get to Heaven to see George, Roger, and Glenn!
I remember this song when I was growing up. We used to have this on a record and my brother and I used to listen to this song all the time. Ahh, memories!
Mark Trammel is one of the best ever, such a smooth voice, I could listen to him all night!

Love Mark's reaction at 1 :17. Was he really surprised or was it an act?? Either way it's good.....

he reacted that way because the sound system echoed when he started that verse.

I don't think so. He's reacting to George's low note.
