The specs are weighted more to the Macbook in this. Look at the specs on the two computers: What are the speeds of the processors? The harddrive space is different. You have to account for that in boot time as well. It takes longer for a processor to read 350gb than it does 160gb. Next time you wanna make an intelligent point make two identical systems and see what happens. Or better yet put windows on a macbook and then compare the boot time to another macbook or vice versa with a PC.

Hmm a Core 2 Duo vs Pentium D? That right there already tips the scales, plus the BIOS takes its own time - you should time it right after the BIOS and perhaps use the same CPU! You might as well had compared your MAC vs a Pentium1 133Mhz! Atleast make it fair!

The boot time of a windows PC is not the same as the Mac because of the BIOS.

You had BIOS setting and CMOS fetures that needed to run through before you started to load windows.

The loading of windows takes place from when you see "Starting Windows" not from power on.

As FauxBestaan said install on both machines and then compare, that will be a valid test

Wow... That's one hell of a shit PC you got there. Windows 7 on my rig boots almost instantly. Also, in order for you to do a VALID comparison, you'd need to install both operating systems on the exact same rig setup. You can't compare bootup times on a laptop and a shitty PC... This video fails.
