  • Someone needs to put that black guy on a continuous loop.

  • Cocaine was rare ... was what I meant - @styrbjorn not @Frankenstein

  • Wtf is with the nazi helmet and random costumes. Were these ppl that high?

  • @acdcphsico Hells Angels, England 1969 ...

  • This was seen and it woke up to the Rolling Stones!!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • 1.46 jimmy hendrix is in the crowd dancing lol

  • I love the Stones, but it's undeniable that they were VERY rusty... Just compare this version, to the one on Get Yer Ya-Ya's Out... The difference is abysma

  • @LucianoGallagher Wtf you mean ..."rusty"?!! I think its a lot of power and sex in this version -I like the slow tempo ... ok Mick J:s voice rusty in the refrains... otherwise : Outstanding!!! Honky T 1st time live, and Stones hadnt giged for a long time- so all flaws excused!

  • I was there too!arrived the night before and camped there, the police let us stay rather than have fans roaming around all night. It was damn hot and a lot fainted, the STONES sounded great to us then, but watching the video in later years they were pretty awful on the day.The guy dancing in the german helmet was hilarious,I can see myself on the video too:>)

  • @FRANK87car Cool. Did you get to see King Crimson and Family? Just curious.

  • Out of sync, not well recorded and somehow fails to convey the atmosphere- but I was there... and enjoyed it very much. The sun was shining and this was Mick Taylors first gig with the band. All of this is very well known unless you are so young that you are speculating about where the concert was held(see below). A week or so later in Hyde Park Blind Faith were unveiled... better musically but without the attitude. Crazy days indeed.

  • Hyde Park? How do they keep the palm trees alive in London?

  • @twinsmm1

take them in during winter. Here in Norway there is an island where they put out palms and other exotic plants for the summer lol ^^

  • I realized something after watching this video. There is NO stage in the world that is big enough to hold these guys.

  • 1:43 My nigga straight killin the mosh pit.

  • Hyde Park in London or San Jose Cali? I'm guessing London but I knew I heard of it before. Never been to London though but in San Jose they hold the 4th of July celebrations. Hmm.. Irony. 4th of July and England :D

  • SO LO GUITAR

  • WHERE IS THE ·"SOLO" GUIATR

  • god they are skinny lol compared to most Americans now lol

  • @Atvsrawsome they're British

  • Got them moves like Jagger... 2:14,

sorry Adam, but your moves were completely different from his...

  • que bellos eran...

  • I wonder how much acid that black dude was on

  • @StyrbjornStarke omg ikr lol hahaha

  • @StyrbjornStarke I believe cocaine was around that time.

  • @BirthOfFrankenstein It was rare ...I was around. Then

  • How much you wanna bet he "1:43" is higher than any one else there? He is feeling the music man!

  • she is!

  • Stones in Gothenburg 1972: When the concert started everybody freaked out – including security crew – so for about 5 minutes you could just rush forward; get a much better place. The guards were like paralyzed!! Immense heavy vibes from The Stones – then. One of the best concerts I’ve ever seen : ) (now they are like their own ghosts –a sad bunch)

  • Jagger was really cute.Wow!!

  • @platuner Fuck off, Ville Nellcote, men, Ville Nellcote is the key

  • A truly legendary band but this is definitely not one of their best performances.

  • @Planet218 they ve always been awful

    that's their secret

  • thumbs up if you think about Sadie and Jake arguing when you hear this song

  • NYNY

  • JESUS LOVES U

  • i heard a guy about 40 years old (now he'd be 50) say that the women back in his day werent as hot as the ones nowdays in the 20th ... but those ladies in the beggining of the video all look just as pretty as modern day women in there 20s in my opinion

  • @rootbound420 those r not women, r hippies douche

  • @serokangaenai

what the fuck is this we speak AMERICAN here on youtube not this moonspeak

  • @TheLovableMan2 i saw this comment while in study hall and laughed out loud

  • @TheLovableMan2 本年もよろしくお願いいたします。本年も、私が最初に聞く唄です。

  • Gutam je cuo,,posle toliko vremena:)))))))))

  • @platuner Mick Jagger... and all the others !... Their solo careers were not outstanding, but TOGETHER they are the best band ever !...

  • Damn. Everyone in this video is high as fuck !

  • I heard that Mik Jager Died in the Freeway , He was going 70 miles and hour and he stuck his head out the window and his lips beat him to death . Ha ha ha ha But hey girls loved his Nigger Lips ! Strange world .

  • 1:42 lol??

  • 2:00 black guy BORED XD

  • 1:43 origin of the dougie

  • @platuner and Keith?

  • they all soung too fked up to sing and play.....zzz boring......yeah i am old and grew up wit dem but this is a waste of time

  • So what really happened?

At 1:40 the black guy is taking off...

of course the rumor is that he was with a blonde and that's a very small part of the reason...

  • Mick Taylor RULZ!

  • this is what you call REAL music. It died so long ago.. R.I.P. ;(

  • 0:47 hello hells angels

  • Fantastic ...

    The Stones Rock !!

  • @platuner Wrong. What made The Rolling Stones stand out from all the hundreds of other rock bands around at that time was the fact they were the Rolling Stones.

  • 1:42 lol

  • @superkuost hahahaah, how good was that!!!!

  • I wish I was there.

  • turns out my dad was there

how much does it suck when it turns out your dads cooler than you are :P

  • That most really suck... but at least your dad was there.

  • @ramsay97 We don't always see it but I asure you it is more often true than not, you'll realize it when you are old enough.

  • @ramsay97 lol yeah, my mum and dad were there.. my dad saw Hendix live in some tiny West London club too.. just can't compete with that :P

  • @terrabun haha cool

mine saw him buying trousers in london once :D

  • @ramsay97 haha yeah really nobody can make music like this anymore im 15 and i would love to have been at the moterey Pop Festival and woodstock. then at least have gotten to see The Doors, The Beatles at Least Once!

  • @kozmicblues14 woodstock would have been sweet. i would have gone for janis and ten years after :D

  • @ramsay97 Me too but im not a huge fan of Ten years after but I like their song "I like to change the world" Im a huge fan of Janis! I would of mainly went for her and Jimi Hendrix. I was watching a movie it was called woodstock remembered or something like that. I was so Jealous of everyone there .everyone was being nice to each other and helping each other out . everyone truely was there for the peace and music. not to cause riots, steal or cheat or act like an idiot.

  • @kozmicblues14

Saw the Stones in NYC 1969. The performance is captured on the Get Your Ya Ya's Out album.

Saw the Doors w/ Jimbo in NYC 1970...also captured live at the Felt Forum.

  • @Easleytee Oh Yeah I have a The Doors DVD already It has like all of thier music vids plus random footage of the band. and I have Ladies and Gentlemen, The rolling Stones. recorded on my DvR. I mean at least I can but their concerts on dvd! better than nothing but nothing actually beats being there! You lucky Duck!

  • @ramsay97 I Was There To

  • @ramsay97 I know, I'm way cooler than my kids. They are so freakin uptight.

  • @ramsay97 Lame comment. Seriously, they start with such a slow sexy groove. I love it.

  • @washboardblues cool story bro

  • i'd rather listen to aerosmith or led zeppelin than this band, rolling stone so damm overrated.

  • @69wavil no the stones are great but yeh led zep is god

  • This concert was free and Jagger if the truth be known is glad Bryan died. Ask him.

  • @Eileene89 can't argue because I know nothing about it, but will be very much interested to know - why exactly Jagger was happy with Brian's death? thanks for answering.

  • @Eileene89 OK ill give him a ring now, he's actually on my speed dial

  • Stoneeeesssssss forever ese !!!!!!!!!!!1

  • LOL jaggers losing his moves here!He seems stoned???

  • Mick Taylor was not playing in open G so could not play the rhythm part properly.

  • Jagger looks as cool as he ever did here. When did the hair go fuzzier, he had cool fucking hair then.

  • @MrPeguin666 LOL. Dairy Queen shirt.

  • yeah the black man at 1:42 looks very healty and energetic :D

  • 2.00....backing singer yawning - fucking hilarious....if I'd been born then I'd have been doing the crossword....what a load of old toss

  • My mum's mate Jennifer Wilson at 0:23. Google it to see what she looks like now at 67.

  • Typical late 60's camera work. They have all sorts of closeups of the faces, but you don't get to see any of the musicians playing.

  • @johnnystaccata Must have been when the zoom feature was invented.!!

  • @johnnystaccata So true!

  • The birth of Mick taylor

  • Ok seriously... Why the fuck aren't there any bands like the Stones, Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, etc. anymore?? Anybody have an answer? I think its because the coke is shit now.

  • @saladfingers2057 yea ever since they started selling zero, diet, light, classic etc.. the whole world has gone to shit.

  • @TheSmurfboard Not exactly what I was talking about, but very true!!

  • Wow I have always loved this song.... thanks 4 the video!

  • 1:43 who is that?

  • yeahhhhhhhhhhhhh

  • Fuck Yeah The Stones!!!!!!!!!!!!:)

  • of course many hells angels was there at this legendary concert in the hyde park, they was the security hired from the stones...!! ;-)

  • Comment removed

  • at 0:49 the guy is wearing a hells angels jacket !!

  • The Concert you are refering to is in 1970 at Altamont Motor Speedway in LA.

Saw the Stones at the "old' Chicago Stadium in 1968 right afer the Chicago Riots. For the encore, Mick comes out and says "this ones for you Chicago" and they played "Street Fightin Man" Totally Mind Blowing!!! Getting old now but grew up in the era of GREAT Rock and Roll

  • @jmweed1861 dude, I'm with you...I keep going back to that song, I'm 43, but that songs seem right on, especially now...and the Stones are still right there, and love it.

  • The editor of this video will pay for the seizure he gave me…

  • keef is quite the boss.

  • If you don't like this, you must hate music!

  • read Keef's book and weep!

  • This is Mick Taylor's first live show with the Stones of this magnitude. He is not bored he was SCARED to death. John Mayall and the BluesBreakers didn't play to crowds this big too often.

  • There is a uncut version of this video that show One of the English Hells Angels shooting up, I've seen it but i think its cut out of this version

  • @RoLLin60sCubnasty There is a Hells Angels member at 0:44

  • @Nullpium Yea I saw the Hells Angel and I think thats the one who is videotaped shooting heroin in the concert, but they don't show it in this cut or it's during a different song in the Hyde Park concert which is possible. I saw it on youtube and didn't realize it until a read a comment that pointed it out

  • mick ronson the guitarist looks bored well he was not with the stones that long but can that guy play the guitar

  • @dugydip2662 his name is mick taylor

  • mick ronson the guiartaist looks bored

  • One time I showed up to school with a Rolling stones shirt. After second period, some kid came up to me and said "why are you wearing a Dairy Queen shirt?". That kid never made it to his third period class...

  • @MrPeguin666 ooohhhhhnnoooooooo thats terrible xD i hope you canned that asshole

  • EVERYONE WAS SO HEALTHY IN THE SEVENTIES.

  • Comment removed

  • @matco24

    LOL

EVERYONE WAS SO HEALTHY BACK THEN,

COME ON PEOPLE BUY HEALTHY AND GROW YOUR OWN !

  • @PostToastie what are you talking about. kieth looks anorexic in this. They all do.

  • @22centman36 HOW MUCH DO YOU WEIGH?

  • @PostToastie And this was the late '60's!

  • @PostToastie LOL so true! I've never seen a fat person in any rock concert footage I've ever seen!

  • @shmadsta Unfortunately all those skinny people you see in the 70's are currently fat in 2011

  • @PostToastie Processed foods, GMO's,polluted air and water, meth and crack, stress over money worries and sleepless nights that didn't exist very much back then. Gas was 30 cents a gallion, you could get a sack of groceries for 10 bucks, rent was 150,200 bucks a month. It's this so called convienient modern life style that's killing us.

  • @nat00ben06 Ikr im 15 im so Jealous of ppl who got to live around this time! gas is like 3-5 bucks a gallon and it goes up and down at times, and gas wasnt even as much as it was the year i was born in 96! i m guessing it was like 2 dollars at the most? and rent today is like 500-1200 abd groceries are like 40-50 bucks for a bag. my mom and I walked out with 3 small bags of groceries and the costed like 50 dollars! idk how i will make in money was in life even i do go to school and get a job.

  • @PostToastie its 1969

  • I'm still skinny and this is 2011.

  • @GRAW2ROBZ drugs do that you know

  • Everyone was so skinny in the 70's.

  • @terryjohn i understand it was a tough period but at the same time, for me, that didn't experience those years, everything seems more real there. It's not as fake as some music we can hear today and people didn't seem to care about stupid things like we do. Maybe I'm not right, and maybe that if i was born in those years i wouldn't say it was so extraordinary, but that's just how i feel when i listen to this.

  • Im pretty sure mick jagger is the skiniest dude ive ever seen in my life. he disapears when u look at him from the side.

  • brotha man going crazy at 1:42 =)

  • Jimmy Page checking out Mick at 1:07 -- realized he already had a better singer... lol

  • Great intro there. I like Rolling Stones version of just about everything.

  • the very first frontman of rock! yeah the hells angels were ther, but it wasnt as bad as terryjohn says...

  • BEST BAND IN THE FUCKING WORLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Ah, yes... Back before pop music sucked donkey balls.

  • @pandurate this is not pop. It's blues, rock and a little bit of country.

  • @keeffan49 Sorry for the transgression but I simply meant "popular music", i.e. that having a wide-ranging appeal which the Stones and this song did.

  • @pandurate good. If you want to hear some good new music listen to the raconteurs and foo fighters.

  • @pandurate I Wish good music will make a comeback . I have to listen to music from differnt generations because my generation music sucks!( Not like its torture or anything but i wish i could like at least a few mainstream songs BUT I CANT BEcause the "MUSiC" Sucks so bad!

  • geniosssss

  • didnt keith, try to tell amy winehouse any thing, somebody smarter than me look into it,

  • @ziggyuno1 yeah, and that`s just about everybody is it not. Take not that Wootsilot has a licence to be a bitch because he is a teenager.

  • lo/17/ll sparkleslingtning48@gmail. If you clicked dislike on this video/song, you should not even listen to ROCK MUSIC. LOVE IT JR.

  • Ich bin mit den Stones groß geworden hatte das Glück sie zweimal zu sehen in Germany. Danke an die Band die mir 57 Jahre Freude gebracht haben

  • wooooooooooooow

  • 1:42 wtf

  • @DonEvano Acid bro.... Acid.

  • My favourite song ever :)
