  • if it was just blocking kiddie porn, i'd be all for it

but they never actually say that that's all they're doing

they deliberately use wishy washy language

  • @bigswano I agree

  • Hey Angry, why haven't you used this old ending theme here in any of your newer TFU Friday videos? This theme is kick ass.

  • @Protectorett Variety is the spice of life

  • @AngryAussie True I suppose. Also, how's your trip going?

  • I agree with Aussie here, my country has already put it in to effect. Causing some of my friends to get strikes. Luckily my country still has some older laws that protect privacy, and good major ISP's protect the user under this. But even for that they are creating "Data-Retention" laws. This shit is getting out of control (even more then it already is).

  • @NeonGen2000 It is rapidly getting out of control

  • Give it 10 more years and they will probably have the technology to do it properly, to bad they are in a hurry.

  • Hay Angry Aussie I have a question for you what type of PC camera do you use to get that great definition? I’ve got one but it’s got terrible definition.

  • @qwer58j Details ae on my channel page

  • there are no countries anymore, national pride is a sham, its a way to keep us fighting each other whilst they slip in from behind, cut our bollox off, and then sell said bollox back to us for extortianate amounts before we realize that said bollox have been cut off in the first place!!!!

  • can someone please explain to me this whole "comment pending approval" bollox? every time i try leaving a critical thought on a you tube channel, i always get the bullshit "comment pending approval"!!!! this has started happening a lot recently and i want to know if its just me.

  • @binkiie4dictator It's down to if the video owner wants to do that.

  • @AngryAussie i realized that as soon as i posted the comment, i am pissed because, i am slightly wankered, watched a vid, had a really profound comment to make, got the whole comment pending approval bollox, spent 15 mins trying to remember what i initially wrote and then gave up and decided to rant about it on your channel

  • @AngryAussie to be fair, i have found this happening a lot recently, most videos that i find thought provoking, generally have the "comments have been disabled" thing going on, but now, most videos are letting you make the comment, but until its "proved worthy" it will not be published, WHAT THE FUCK?

  • @binkiie4dictator Lighten up, you're not the one making the videos. I do it myself sometimes for different reasons. Sometimes it's because popular videos get spammed. And sometimes it's because jumped up little fuckwits they think they have the right to use my channel as a platform to be obnoxious little shits. And they DON'T have that right. And I really enjoy showing them that.

  • Yes but it is disturbing how little is being said. You are a great journalist, real journalism doesn't happen on television any more. What Australia needs is your head on the television shouting "I'm mad as hell and I'm not going to take it any more.

  • @Merlinmagi That would be fun

  • Can't hear enough about these issues from you.

  • @Merlinmagi There is a lot to say on the topic

  • Watching that epic vid blew me away. never heard such an informative use of the F word in my life :)

  • I practice a lot

  • They are being disturbingly secretive.

  • I heard that the Australian Government has abandoned plans for a 3 strikes policy based on your description.

  • They are being very secretive right now

  • Tell me about it.

  • The thing that worries me with this internet filter, is that, what's stopping Ruddy and the Labor Posse from filtering out any anti-Labor material?

  • Technically nothing although that would leak for sure because someone has to put the filter in place.

  • this is totally awesome and I completely agree!

  • Cheers

  • its their internets.... they can filter it?.....

  • That is astoundingly ignorant.

  • Comment Removed By Stephen Conroy

  • Now it's turning into spam.

  • One wonders

  • Your great I love your video

Stephen Conroy is a clueless catholic/christain conservative prick wanker

  • He's certainly clueless

  • Love your passion!!!

  • Thanks!

  • Stay angry dude, there is a battle ahead. Such Governmentalbullshit!!!

  • Quite a long battle I think

  • @AngryAussie True. The media silence is scarey, I am putting together Bumper Stickers

  • IT IS JUST A SMOKESCREEN TO MAKE THE GOVERNMENT LOOK GOOD.... THEY ARE FUCKING IDIOTS... good movie 5 stars

  • It does seem to be political game playing

  • Damn straight!! the Rupert Murdoch's of the world can go to hell. they're old and out of date....

  • And clueless

  • It wasn't the topic of this video

  • Crap. My teacher was right. He said that it is looking more and more like Companies are in charge of the world than governments

  • It sure does look that way

  • If this ever got passed through it might be quicker to rever to some sort of punch card system, or maybe dixie cups and string for my conection

its not like our internet is slow enough :( bad telstra!

  • Bad government!

  • Fuck me. The URL of this video says "Judas". Appropriate?

  • Fuck me! Never noticed that. Awesome.

  • Fuck that's awesome

  • Thanks

  • What can you support in the USA for Internet freedom?

  • Net neutrality

  • In fact it may even be worse than that - it may be a way for them to completely switch OFF the internet in the next couple of years when another Financial meltdown happens - they dont want organized resistence to their diabolical plans for global enslavement.

  • It's all about disconnecting people from each other and therefore the truth - we finally have a technology that can unite humanity and thats what scares the living shit out of the Elites - it threatens their privileged position - history is an endless repetition of the draconian steps taken by the Elite in their fear of the masses - thats all this is - nothing whatsoever to do with "objectionable'" material (much of it of their own making anyway - these FUCKWITS take hypocrisy to new levels!)

  • I do think the independence of the internet threatens a lot of those in power

  • Conroy is going to be killed in his sleep, someone will eventually snap and slit the dudes throat.

  • Well, that got you on a federal police watch list

  • Hopefully my being arrested will raise awareness a bit, god knows we need it. :/

  • Defs.

  • Oh goody. So I guess we have to sit through the fucking "You wouldn't steal a car..." ads that cannot be skipped on LEGALLY PURCHASED DVDs - the pirates don't get that ad do they - only the FUCKING LEGAL COPIES

Oh yeah - and we know that filters need to be kept up to date don't they? Antivirus and anti-spam software are good examples. There is no way the government can keep the filter that significantly up to date so quickly.

  • I HATE that they put those ads on things you paid for

  • I wonder how long it will be before a stupid ad like that appears on fucking Audio CDs too!

Actually come to think about that - it may not be possible unless every track has that at the start due to the nature of the standard audio CD format.

  • Just leave the internet as it is! What the Australian government should do is try and fix our Fucked up Internet speeds! Filters are a waste of time! Apart for child porn where the Filter is ONLY required.

  • Except the filter idea simply won't work

  • Filters are shit, plain and simple.

  • You should just run in there and start murdering people, and then people have a three-strikes your out for your channel. Lol.

  • Or maybe not

  • Oh our government and its tendency toward kneejerk reactions on subjects it knows nothing about. As Gangajang once said, "Laugh and think that this is Australia."

  • Laugh or cry

  • careful angry, they might filter out youtube! :(

  • They'd like to

  • politicians need to stop screwing up

  • That's a big wish!

  • The only rape videos I want to see on the net are our politicians being fucked hard to make sure they behave.

  • Kinky!

  • ok first thats tottaly fucked up! but idk if i heard this from you or somewere else but i heard it accually illegal to have music on your computer and or mp3 player and listen to it.... SO WOULDNT THAT MAKE EVERY MUSIC DOWNLOAD ILLEGAL!!!!! >=O WTF!!!!!!

  • There are people who would like to make a lot of things illegal

  • Atleast we all know the internet is a series of tubes.

  • Conroy is almost as thick as the guy who said that

  • As a hypothetical, if half of the population of the UK were disconnected from the internet, I think that the internet companies would lose more money through internet subscription than entertainment companies would lose through potential illegal downloading...

  • The technology industries are worth so much more than the entertainment industries.

  • Because without the technology industries, the entertainment industries wouldn't have any foundation to stand on?

  • True but not my point. In pure dollar terms, technology industries dwarf entertainment industries.

  • Been emailing senators (including spamming Conroy) he's a lame duck all he does is use boogeyman and ad hominen tactics against opponents he's a chump.

Rounded up a dozen odd people to get the emails continuing. Passing on all the polies email addresses.

Going back to uni so i can do a bit more there too.

Censor Conroy not my Internet :)

  • Conroy needs to get a clue

  • Its not gonna work dude, look at china, people get around "the great firewall of china" all the time, and u get like chucked in gaol if u illegally download stuff there lol :)

  • The fact it won't work is one problem. The fact it will fuck up internet speeds is a much bigger problem.

  • Damn straight! That is totally fucked up!

  • It totally is

  • What's the name of the pig-squeal beatdown tune? Sounds fittingly brutal :)

  • That the Angry Aussie Metal Theme

  • That seems to be what they are suggesting

  • a-frickin-men!!

  • Testify!

  • fucking amen.

  • Cheers

  • lol good thing i live in ireland... they're are still adjusting to the idea of coloured televisions xD

  • Ireland will feature in this week's TFU Friday

  • not sure if thats good or not xD

  • Wait and see ;)

  • Go fuck yourself you worthless shitweasel

  • And now there trying to implement faster internet speed in the next few years because of optic fibre cabling.

HMMMMMM all thats gonna happen is the gov trying to control is again.

  • They'll fuck it up

  • Woop! love ur video the u.k wanted to filter the internet last year lol At least the U.K never even bothered testing the filtering idea nd the illegal downloading stuff is stupid. Who knows where it may end. Maybe one day life machines for patients in hospitals will be turned off because entertainment companys thinks the beeping from it sound too much like a song the own V_V

  • The UK is getting a bit scary

  • I'd love to see Mr Conroy's browsing history.

    Wouldn't you?

  • No, I imagine it's very boring

  • is it just me or does Stephen Conroy have a habit of making stupid idea to do with the internet? first the filter now this..........i didn't thing retards were aloud in the Aussie government

  • Really? I thought that was the only requirement : )

  • He seems to say mnay stupid things

  • Good one, pissed me off.

  • It sure pisses me off

  • That tops the retarded scale by a few points... It sounds like he needs to be put out of his misery.. and if keeps suggestging things like that he might be!

  • It's particularly clueless

  • While I was in school we had to write about the government in "our" country that we made, I made Lemming's Law.

Stupidity punished via throwing off cliffs.

    No Cruel or unusual Punishment.

You can't find Russia on a map?

    Off a small house.

Your stupidity causes harm to some one?

Off of the highest point known to man into the deepest trench in the oceans.

I'll upload that paper if I can find it

  • Sounds like fun

  • Preventing Pirate media from streaming across the internet won't do shit to curb piracy. With the invention of digital media came the ability to easily replicate media.

This proposition is BS, and it can't work. especially with proxy services streaming world wide. the ones mainly responsible for most of the illegal content across the internet are incredibly difficult to catch. This idea will only harm those innocent or ignorant of their supposed actions.

  • It is doomed to fail

  • How the hell would the entertainment companies be able to find out who's doing the downloading?

  • track IP addresses from the source, via give us IPs and we lessen your punishment.

  • ISPs would rat you out

  • i cant believe the amount of absolute SHIT that governments throw at their people.

  • It is scary

  • Fucked up friday, hmm i like that phrase nice one + good video

  • It's required in a totally fucked up world

  • lol, so bloody funny

  • Thanks!

  • haha governments are funny

  • That's one way of looking at it.

  • u SUCK blunty rules

  • I wasn't aware that was a binary proposition

  • The fact that Rapidshare, Piratebay and similar sites are online for very long means that the anti-piracy government is not able to do shit or they are corrupted and have profit out of this.

  • Piratebay has been sold and will cease to exist in its current form

  • my friend jamie would have a better chance at controlling the internet than the government

  • But the government can fuck it up better than anyone

  • That which we do not understand, we fear and try to control.... Why do humans do that?

  • That's what fear does

  • They're going to blind you all and unleash the undead....

  • I guess that's a possibility

  • Ah yes. Valid points. Aust is still doing better than my country, Malaysia though.

(I blew the bandwidth limit in a week, got some crappy slow internet, and it's still faster than what everyone else uses back home).

  • And Singapore beats the both of us

  • you should move to america, ya our economy sucks, but no one gives a shit what you look at on line! lol

  • You are sadly delusional if you think that (look up FBI warrantless wiretaps)

  • And here I thought that the lack of reaction to the bukkake foreign policy analogies was due to other reasons.

  • Now you know

  • Well, time to move to an unknown island.

  • Have fun with that

  • What's the point of the three strike policy when most torrent clients like utorrent let you configure proxy servers? The right of the labor party is fucked up!

  • This policy has been put forward by political parties of all persuasion in countries all around the world

  • This government makes me less and less happy and more and more pissed off everytime they open their mouths. Esp. Stephen Conroy, the internet is the best thing that mankind has in regards to information as there is so much really good and unique information about everything out there, and here he is trying to slowly quietly strip the net, why cant he embrace it? it would be a far smarter decision and would be easier, cost less & make more sense

  • Conroy is coming across as an idiot

  • The australian government is simply fucking retarded. You obviously pointed out this has been attempted by many other countries larger than us and with better internet, and it didnt work. So what does Australia do? Keep trying.

    FUCK.

  • It's being tried repeatedly all around the world

  • hey would u know if theyve started trialing this internet filtering angry? cos my inter net, my friends and even the school internet has been incredibly slow lately

  • They wouldn't get away with putting it in secretly

  • 99% of internet is illegal which consist mostly of advertising and duplicating shit sites, second largest illegal runner is illegal sharing or downloading sites which is the whole purpose of fast internet that is getting faster just because of that, third largest offender are sites that steal information from other legal sites. Internet are computer networks which are built by humans and are there because of humans. If they filter everything there will be no internet. BTW is porn illegal ?

  • While your statistic is totally wrong, porn has different definitions and different levels of legality around the world.

  • You can't copy review of anybody without permission, but copying and duplicating is what internet is. You have 1 legal porn site and millions of clone sites, fan sites..etc...same with everything on internet...internet doesn't respects anybody's rights and has no moral standards. It is also illegal to say curse words to somebody. Internet is illegal.

  • "Swearing" isnt illegal. Religions and medieval days made words like 'fuck' and 'shit' (etc) "bad" where in the real world they have real meanings and people who think they are disrespectful need to get with the times. No one cares anymore and they arent any different to words like 'hello'.

Personally I find that swearing is fine, and people need to convert to realism just like people started disbelieving christianity.

Beliefs in swearing shouldnt be pushed on people like religion used to be.

  • Fuck wasn't used in medieval times because it was first used in Playboy magazines. Do your research.

  • That is hilariously misinformed

  • It's not right that entertainment companies are essentially allowed to be their own private police force.

  • It is horribly wrong

  • I'm starting to lose faith in humanity.

  • I just accept that politicians aren't human

  • christ i wish punk wasnt dead......eventually well NEED riots in the streets and no one will have any balls to do it!

  • It seems that way sometimes

  • Just another way the older generations are fucking everyone over.

Fuck you major companies. Filtering our internet in ANYWAY is completely against our freedom! No matter what it's in the 'guise of'.

I worry sometimes that people's apathy will just let some shit like this come through one day and we're all fucked.

  • Freedom isn't their primary concern

  • Oh wow, is that a new opening song? I just recently got back from Turkey. As an American with a tour group of Aussies and N Zeds, I got t
