another and easier way to fish weeds (also a kvd tip) is to determine the depth between the tips of the weeds and the surface of the water, and tie on the appropriate crankbait with a lip. you want to pick something that will dive about a foot more than the depth you are fishing so the bill tics the top of the grass. its easier than fishing a lipless because the depth is preset for you. good luck man

stay away from "muck" type weeds with these, but the lipless crankbaits work amazing on rooted grass. rip the bait barely above the weeds, kill it and let it invariably tangle, then rip it free hard and let it flutter down again. as soon as the bait is ripped free and pauses they ussually strike. ive caught so many quality fish with this technique. i learned it from reading a kvd interview- cant go wrong with kvd

@tyler89r they really arent for fishing in weeds. but you can reel it in fast enough to keep it above the weeds or if your fishing lillypads or something similiar you just gotta throw it in open lanes

I don't know if I will get this bait. KVD, his own rod, a tank full of fish and not using his own bait caught no bass, if he used his own selection, I bet he'd land those bassies
