  • give me this tv already, assholes.

  • Now this technology will go in drawer and wait for few years than will be out again (maybe) and bring to market.

Same as LG and Samsung doing with OLED. They have OLED almost in same time as LCD. But it`s so cheap to produce rest imagine for yourself....

  • only show images with little movement

now show videos, games running with big movement I want to see the resolution dynamics fall, like all lcd, led

These real 1080p tvs send to each eye, when in 3D?

Plasmas can have the image in real 1080p,

    for each eye in glasses.

  • @TheFred128 all 3DTVs except for LG's Cinema TV's can show 1080p per eye, as long as the source is sequential. This should have no resolution fall, this is not an "LED" display, samsung made a huge mistake in calling those led backlit LCDs "LED," that should've been the name of this. Each pixel is made up of 3 individual leds for red blue green, that's 6,220,800 leds, and they should have near to zero input lag, so no motion res drop and also Perfect Blacks and Whites!

  • i prefer plasma panasonic viera.

  • CLED a new technology Sony invents, Samsung and LG are so far behind Sony, they only started using OLED, a technology Sony invented years ago

  • at 3:14 it seems the new one has NO glare vs older model.

  • its funny how sony is going down on profit just because of the televisions 2.2 billion dollar!

  • So what is better... CLED or Plasma?

  • @ibanez0830 CLED!!!

  • Super !

  • The flagship LED-LCD Backlit 55 inch TV from Sony costs 4000$. IMO this should cost about 4500$-5500$ for the 55 inch version.

BTW that 4000$ TV has Full Array LEDs with Local Dimming.

  • I originally had this idea but I thought that led tvs were already that way. I'm upset

  • I like the LG OLED 3D TV, plus it's coming out way sooner than this Sony one

  • @zavulon06 OLED 3D is going to cost a lot more than Crystal LED.

  • @RedofYellow By the time the Crystal LED gets released, the price of OLED will probably drop

  • @zavulon06 Hopefully! I am really interested to see if they will end up selling large OLED display which I can wrap around the corner of my room.

  • @RedofYellow I would love one for my living room, I don't watch TV in my room anyway ;)

  • @zavulon06 By the time the Crystal LED gets released, the LG and Samsung oled tvs are dead because of the oled short lifespan.

i like oled but the lifespan its a major issue, i think this doesn't have that problem plus the image is comparable to oled and solves most lcd's issues (speed , viewing angles e etc).

  • @thegunitsoldier5050 Well how long does it last, in your opinion? I'm not expert in this field, so I just go with whatever appeals to me better. I've had a Samsung Series 5 LCD TV for about 3 years now, and the image quality is definitely worse. I wish I knew how to improve it. Same thing with my monitor, after less than 2 years, some black tetris-like squares started appearing in dark areas of the screen.

  • @zavulon06 well according to the oled wikipedia page in 2007 they got to 62 000 hours on the blue oleds and 198 000 hours on the green oleds, and that is another problem, because the blue light will die more quickly the image will become unbalanced.

your black squares problem sounds like dead pixels.

  • @thegunitsoldier5050 They're too large to be dead pixels, dead pixels are tiny white dots, or sometimes black dots on white backgrounds. Plus these black squares only appear in really dark grey or light black areas of the background. A lot of my wallpapers have that. And it's usually closer to the corners of the screen

  • @zavulon06 maybe you need to adjust the contrast

  • @thegunitsoldier5050 I don't know, it only started happening recently, and my contrast is set to be as close as possible to the real world image lol, I don't want the colors to look unreal

  • I hope to see a 100 inch 3D TV!!!!

  • I want to have this right now :D

  • My sony 3d tv gets infinite contrast ratio

  • OLEDs technically are Crystal LEDs right? just a different kind of micro led

  • @LTF85199 No. The layer which generates light is made of organic materials in OLED and in LEDs they are made up of semi-conductors.

  • to bad i only can see in this in 720p

  • Sony is CRYSTAL

  • Samsung's OLED smarter TV or Sony's Crystal LED display? that's gonna be a tough one for me.

  • @jr4chargers i will go for SONY Crystal LED....OLED color is too saturated...

  • @celinethegreat1025 yes, you're right.

  • @celinethegreat1025 Why no just dim the color controls on the TV?

  • @palmshoot huh?

  • @jr4chargers Sony it is.........

  • still uploading :)
