For the first couple minutes or so, I was just waiting for the drop... never got it. Still awesome. Not sure why so many people are butthurt about remixes of doors songs. I think most of the people that posted negative comments didn't listen that far into it. after the first minute or so, it becomes really close to the original. I think Jim Morrison would approve.

I think if any body could appreciate the bastardization of a Doors song it would be Jim Morrison.The Doors were all about experimenting,Thats why all of thier albums sound different from each other. I like this mix more than others ive heard .the others ive heard have the organ and rain taken out which to me is the best reason to remix the song in the first place.

that remix have rather subtle changes in comparison to the original, and usually it's hard to screw up something good when you make minor changes (except horrible vocoder on the beginning which is outdated and doesn't fit at all in the mix). But if i were making remix of that song, i'd rather try to do some changes in the sound, probably i'd use different instruments or change melody in some way. But it requires a lot of thinking and listening to put new quality to the old. This one is average.

Keep trying and remember to include some kind of constant variation to move into each new verse even if the variations are backdrops, solos and so on; even if they have to be so silent they almost seem subconscious keep listeners dazzled because I certainly am close to being so but not quite.
