  • dam this guuy is awesome!!!

  • 5:28 onwards is just crazy

  • Maybe he is not THAT special but i think he's being playing for kinda 20 years xP

  • He is 19 -.-"

  • actually, hes more like 23-24

  • i could play all the hard songs from those medleys after i had 1 year piano lesson!

you are right! he is actually nothing THAT special. he IS good but not THAT special.. Koji Kondo should make all those concerts!

  • I think Martin Lueng is the best

  • i dont know why he is a famous pianist after 3 a 4 years you can play like this. I mean look at the concert pianist they play 100 times better than him:S and he is more famous:o realy strange:P but yeah its good playing nothing more to say;) o yes if you say put a good piano video on youtube i do it this week or the next with the lion king and zelda;)

  • after playing the air platform theme myself...

i realized that he had some little mistakes on the left hand too XD

thought he had perfected the air platform...guess i was wrong..

    awesome playing still!!!

  • wow, he's gotten really good since the last time i've seen him

  • wow this is his best air platform theme ive ever seen

  • the bowser theme thing is sick

  • i agree with mario54671 that W3SP play more cleaner than the video game pianist, but the video game pianist plays a lot better than W3SP.

  • i disagree witht he 2nd part, how cna u play better if u make lots of mistakes? plus w3sp plays a lot smoother which is better.

  • also, martin can only play like really easy songs (like the mario main theme) blindfolded, while w3sp plays stuff like the zelda main theme blindfolded which is much harder, and doesn't make mistakes either. martin IS still very amazing, the w3sp can beat him if they did some sort of competition or whatever.

  • Hey, if he only plays easy songs then can you play List's Liebstraume, List's Etude No. 10 in F Minor, Mendelssohn's Piano Concerto No 1 in G Minor and how about some Beethoven sonatas. Those are for a fact not easy. You need to do some research on Martin. I have respect for both Martin and w3sp. They both are great pianist.

  • wow, look if u read my comment right i said he only plays the easy songs blindfolded, like the mariio main theme, while w3sp does the zelda tmain theme blindfolded.

  • Eh, w3sp is ok. Martin Leung was the first person to play a song blind folded.

  • to play a song blindfolded? wow, so ur saying he's the first person in the world to start that? i don't think so, people always did that before cuz it's not hard, all u have to do is memorize the song, it's hardER if the song is harder. like w3sp for example, plays the zelda overworld blindfolded, much harder than what martin does.

  • That's great. Personal opinion.

  • But he was teh first person to play a song blindfolded to post on the internet. Plus, at the end, that mario song was hard. Either way, their still pretty good.

  • the mario song is not hard at all, i can even play that song blindfolded. the zelda one yes was played blindfolded, because being able to see through the bottom doesn't mean ur actually gonna do it cuz it's very uncomfortable and it's better to just close ur eyes than to look down like that.

  • WAit dood, he did not play that song blindfolded. There's a little opening at teh bottom of his blind fold where he can see through and see teh piano keys. Plus, i dont thing he can play a song backwards.

  • Martin Has Played the Air Platform Theme Blindfolded. If you want a link to prove it, let me know. Even you know thats not easy.

  • yeah at some points with my opinions I go a little too far to the point where I say things that I actually don't think. and also, that was quite a while ago, now at this time I don't really care about it now, now I think they're both good, that they both have their strengths and weaknesses. I think W3sp can perfect his mistakes and play smoother but lacks rhythm. Martin makes a little more mistakes but plays with better rhythm.

  • Please give me the link.

  • he's played that song blindfolded? What's the link?

  • @mario54671 You're stupid. Mario is much harder...

  • @2010HackLockerz Well let's see...two years ago when I made these comments, we were arguing about which pianist was better...not which piece of music was harder. Plus, you're not specifying which "Mario" theme, so, you'll have to excuse me, of course I could be wrong because the Mario theme you could be thinking about could be different than the one I am.

But if you're talking about the SMB 1 main theme compared to Zelda, like I did state, then yes, Zelda's harder than it...much harder.

  • @mario54671 I can pretty much play zelda main theme, just not as fast.. its just the same beats all the time, easy to play, and addictingly catchy :P Mario i just somehow cant hack it :S

  • @2010HackLockerz The Mario theme is just a bunch of easy chords over and over again, I learned how to play it when I was 10. I didn't play Zelda until I was about 13 or 14 because it required bigger hands and more technique, like the octave jumps. also, with the Mario theme, you don't have to worry about things like having to play two different parts on the right hand, but emphasizing the main part with one of your fingers, which isn't easy unless you have a more developed technique.

  • @mario54671 I understand.. I used to struggle with octave jumps.. Maybe because you learn earlier than me with smaller hands :P

  • He has a big ass mouth.

  • is that piano a kawai? sounds like one and it says in the tags "K.Kawai". cuz no wonder he's playing so good on it, that's the brand of his piano at home! the only difference is that this one is a grand and his is just an upright regular one.

  • Cool!

  • thanks

  • Its funny to see the people stop and look

  • whats that sound effect after the coins?

  • its the 1 up

  • **that one where u power up too.

  • well there's the 1-up and also that one where u power up sound too.

  • u know.....actually this was one of his cleaner performances of the Air Platform Theme. i noticed a lot less mistakes in this one on the left hand than all the other ones. W3sp is still better though and way cleaner.

  • Yeaahh at 5:41 is the best on the whole song, thats it

  • how mch does this guy own i mean come on!

  • ha!the sirens match in the second song

  • dude ur insane i love at the part at about like that starts at 5:41

  • WOW!!!!

    More Zelda, less Mario

  • love zelda dungeon :D

  • have ago at zelda over world theme without sustaining or lightening the sound... ITS HARD

  • this is no ordinary guy on the piano playing video game tunes.

  • goos job GAIN ITS AWESOME

  • what was the song song from

  • what was the second song i mean

  • It is the Zelda Dungeon theme

  • all people make mistakes but even so its great!

  • Man Your Good

  • made mistakes but still impressive

  • There are a few notes that he should have held for longer, in the first part.

His mario theme at the end is played with mastery.

The many mistakes that he made are really a pity, but being able to play it live, im supposing there were no retakes, is impressive

  • damnn... this is tighT!

  • Awesome video and talent!

  • the ambulance is coming, he's on fire.

  • this guy is incredible

  • amazing to play all that without sustaining

  • He should've used the sustain pedal during the Zelda theme.. It sounds so .. bland.

  • Fucking too tight...this is underground.
