i need to try this, my pc is connected to a 42in hdtv, the only resolution i can have where everything fits is 1024x768. any higher and nothing fits. tv can go up to 1920x1080. i will need to try this, hope this works for me.
Not working for me =( I have Pioneer 428XD, i set Res to 1280x720. GPU Scaling leaves desktop underscanned, so i have to use overscan setting to get it full size in desktop. Then in Crysis 2 it just forgets the overscan setting so i get an underscanned image.
@SecularGamingWorld No, its 1024x768, but ive fixed it. I found the problem was because the game was using a refresh rate that was not in the CCC for the selected resolution. So i added the 720p50 profile to the list and now it fixed it! My TV has rectangle pixels to create widescreen, but fully supports up to 1080p.
Try Alt + Enter a couple of times, worked for me

i fixed it but another problem occurred when i play the game sometimes it crashes and it throws me out of the game and it says crysis stopped working
ariabm44 9 months ago
@ariabm44 Hmm that could be anything, do you get any sort of error message or code? Or is it just "crysis has stopped working"?
Usually the main cause for a unspecific crash is the drivers. Make sure they are updated.

@EpiphonicMedia Are you sure the rez is set to 1920x1080? Because despite all that is in this video it will still under scan on some lower rez's

@hydaway1 That could be anything, do the cut scenes play smoothly? if so you need to check your input settings in the controls.
