Håller med dig, jag har sett honom i både Tyskland, Danmark och här hemma i Sverige, och det är alltid bäst ös på svensk mark. 2 ggr förra sommaren och jag ska se honom den 4:e och 5:e detta året med. . . vettifan om 100% räcker, det känns mer som om han går in och sjunger med 200% från hjärtat och hoppas på att kroppen ska orka med ;)

VERY good show! None of the videos can even begin to represent that insane bass note (subwoofer) at the start. Was like an earthquake! His voice was rough, but by the 3rd song Bruce was in solid for form and rocked that hard till the end (with a show the next night).

That whole crowd stayed until the last note. A special treat for those of us abroad on the 4th! Bruuuuuuuuuce!

Absolutely not. As written, almost all europeans understand the lyrics and the general theme of his songs. Honestly, how many flags did you see? It´s not weird when the concert´s on the 4th of July. Swedish people always go nuts over Springfield. He usually sells 100000 tickets in less than 2-3hours. He could be singing about horseshit, the crowd would still love him and the songs. So no, people DO NOT go crazy over the lyrics of this specific song. It´s just a song they recognize.

If you know what Springsteen is all about you know what the song is about. It's wrong to assume that the crowd believe that the song is patriotic. I can agree in the sense that some people that doesn't listen to Spingsteen sometimes misinterpret the song. But it doesn't matter if you're from Europe or not.

This was the opening for the 4th of july concert at Ullevi, so you should keep in mind that the crowd is exited to see Springsteen. Most of the crowd knows what the song is about.

I´m Spanish, European. In 1984, when I was 13, I bought the "Born in the USA" tape to read the lyrics of the song. And I understood them, it´s not so difficult (I was 13, I repeat). It was written by an American patriot that is able to criticize his country. USA is great, but has faults, like any country. It´s a pity that GW Bush just showed the world these faults.
