Why I chose the Realize band ove Lap Band

It's hard to adapt and adjust yes, I will not lie there... but well worth it, no regrets :)

Hi, I have five cc's in my band so far. I go back to the Dr. on Oct. 31. I'm going to ask for another fill,b/c I still don't have the restriction that I want. It's there,but I would like for it to be better! On another note...a friend of mine is having an upper GI done today b/c her band has slipped!!! She has the lap band. The Dr. wants to go ahead and replace it with a new one,but she is hoping to wait until Christmas break.

I had the Realize band placed on July 16, 2008-Dr. Nease Huntington WV. I really like the results I'm seeing. I'm down 30 lbs. and still losing. Have you had any fills? Mine holds 9cc's and I have five so far. I would do this again in a quick minute! Good luck to you!

I have had 2 fills and I currently have 4cc's my band holds 13 cc's... How many cc's are in your band?

Great video- the realize wasn't available for me last year through my surgeon so I have the one right below it which Vagabond idk it starts w/ a V lol...But very informative video - hugs, Melissa :)

Deb, my sister has the Realize band, too (I think I've mentioned that to you before). She chose for the same reason, softer material, and she also likes the web site. Also, the port is "lower profile", doesn't stick up as much, and she liked that, too.

She is doing great. She has lost 25 lb and has hit a plateau, but keeping on keeping on waiting on it to start up again.
