  • I dont know how I came across Harry but it was around the time of " verities and balderdash" what an album

  • Yeah, he was an amazing man, not full of bs like todays "superstars", pity we will never see the likes of Harry again

  • harry was a wonderful man he was always wanting to help people he was going to come to my dads work and play for the children but his flight was canceled and he called my dad personally to apologize and sent someone else and promised to come another time but he passed away a few months later my dad just passed away and in lieu of flowers we asked people to donate to long island cares harry chapin food bank

  • its easy to learn how to play the guitar and play it well, its another thing to go and play a song and intentionally play it bad and still make it sound good

  • I have this whole concert on DVD and it is excellent!!!

  • Harry was an EPIC GENIUS...and a VERY VERY GOOD PERSON. Another great musician that I never got to see live because I was born too late...

  • Harry, was an inspiration to many of us. I had the pleasure of meeting Stephen and Tom a couple of years ago in Lunenburg, Nova Scotia during the Chapin Family weekend. It was one the best experiences one could imagine.

  • I have watched this over 10 times today.

  • going back to the new cd which replaced the old worn out old cd to listen and sing along again. loved seeing others who agree with me in thinking he's the best ever. still haven't seen on u tube one of the best........

  • Always loved when the band kidnapped the concert. That is what made the whole concert experience so great for Harry.

  • man, that German audience was dead.

  • Awed

  • Is he saying odd or awed? I can never tell with his slight New York accent.

  • That never crossed my mind, mostly because I'm a native New Yorker like him. I'm pretty sure I say 'awed' like he says it. Saying 'odd' like 'awed' sounds too much like New England too me.

We usually say 'ahhed' for 'odd'.

  • Love this song. The Muppet Show actually did a version of this song.

Very damn good version of it too. Not as comedic as this guy but still good.

"Eat your damn heart out, Eric Clapton!" lol

  • Harry was incredible! Always loved how much fun he and his band had together.

  • Yes, very good footage. What a master, thanks bagnon!
