I was there on 23/08/08. Fantastic place. Great wildlife. I saw two peregrine falcons the moment I stepped off the ferry onto the harbour. I also was able to watch a buzzard perching on a cliff edge. It was there for ages. Truly a utopia for nature lovers.
we were there in 1956 to58 Iwas 4 when we went there but I remember the boat trip in bad weather and i believe everybody was scared except me...the innocence of youth!!
I was at Carrik-a-Rede this year, but never made it to Rathlin Island. Oh, what I have missed.
