not sure what arc on the handelbar you are thinking about but the one in the middle is a grab strap also know as a powder bar or mountain bar helps to grab unto it to lean more when needed or side hilling and then the ones at the end of the bars ar j hooks to help with turning and comfort and stuff also the bar has a bit of a natural bend normally which makes it more comfortable on the hands thats the only arcs i can think of on there so hope that got you covered
