  • Fantastic,, just picked up the invisible girls LP,, side one is out of this world! saw pauline live with Penetration in 1979 at poole arts centre,,out of this world!!

  • I love this song soooooooooooooooooooo much wonderful memories!! :)

  • Er, for those saying it's not available, get zero - a martin hannett story, has this on, sadly the album is ultra rare so about £47.99 but just heard dream sequence 2 and that is just classic

  • Pauline Murray, Girls at our Best, the Mo-Dettes..great female musical talents from a great era in indie music. (yes, I know GAOB only had a female singer, the rest of the band were guys..but I think you get my point..) All were tragically under played and under appreciated. They never resorted to showing their T and A. How sad that it had to end. If only I could go back to that era right now...

  • One of the best singles of the period - from one of the best albums. Fantastic production, too. it's criminal this stuff isn't available.

  • This is to die for in stereo!!! I only have a mono vinyl rip of the 10" and the LP.

  • Yep another great vocal from Pauline. I have the 10inch too. One of those songs that still sounds new and fresh unlike a lot of stuff from way back. Saw Pauline recently with Penetration and she is still one of the most sincere artists around.

  • Best postpunk melody ever. RIP Martin for the unique production.

    Cheers from Sweden

  • why the fuck did she never make a video of this song. I have the LP and 10". Yeah.. so the Invisible Girls were another band... Pauline Murray was awesome

  • yes one of the truly great things...

  • My god this brings back memories! I feel so old tho!!!!!!!!! Loved Pauline and Penetration - especially danger signs and don't dictate - never made it as big as they should have .

  • classic

  • I first heard this song on John peels broadcast back in the day, loved Pauline ever since.

Funny story one of my best friends practices at the studio she manages.

    Luv to Pauline and Penetration...........

  • 'test' a success! brings back warm memories. always loved this song
