Photomontage of the house of Jung, in Bollingen, were its suppose used to contact to spitirs. beautyful place. youtube.com/watch?v=76u3zAxZJhM&feature=feedu
I wouldn't dismiss this as "trash". It is a good basic introduction to Jung as a person and psychologist. It unfortunately glosses over the fact that he spent 10 years working in Swiss mentall hospital, with real patients while Freud only spent 9 months working in one. This gave Jung exceptional insight in his field.
@fairiebee Well said Fairiebee...... Freud didnt have the insights and spritual ,cosmic conscious connection like the great late Carl Jung. Anyone who tries to dismiss the work of Jung or belittle his ideas is either mentally retarded or incapable of realising true genius when it arises :)
I happen to think there is an uncouncous however my view of it is not the same as frued and jung. IM a psych and anthro major and i get allot of criticism for trying to view psychology in a non science way., Its all about cognitive and behavioralism. But i only think each of these ares only accurately describes a certain part of the mind. Its not the whole picture. once science can no longer discover more about these parts it will be forced to take on nontraditional veiws. Science never stops.
Yes i agree, this documentary doesnt really say anything about Jungs theories and his thoughts. I like the part where a relative is commenting about overly pragmatism, i feel that for sure. Everything is adapted pragmatically, like we are rationalists. But we are not.
@firewoman Im really into the psychoanalytical/dynamic right now im a psych major and i feel for me to get a good understanding view of psychology i need to start from the beginning and work my way up.
If you think about this, everything that Jung has ever done or proved can very well tie in to Nature vs. Nurture. Urges? Or Individuality?

Does Jungian psychology have anything to do with David Bohm's "implicate order" concept?
