  • Case looks great do not see many modded XCLIO cases. Love the ultra kaze but too loud gonna sell mine used it for about an hour after I reviewed it. Plexiglas was a good ideas some don't understand principle of airflow in a case you seem to get it perfectly. Like the switch panel you made as well behind the door. Gonna check out the other vids of this case you have in case I missed anything you showed in them.

  • thats a well good mod i've got that case n am lookin to do some mods on it can u give me some tips please?

  • i got this case but the ASUS Crosshair IV Formula AM3 AMD 890FX SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard i got for it is a problem since the expansion slots don't fit with the case. :\

    What should i do?

  • @Akoa0013 You should do more research before you build your next computer.

  • nice rig buddy. I have an xcloi A380 w/ some fabs also. check it out in my pro

  • Can I use the dremel for the whole cut out? And what else do I need other than the Dremel and plexiglass?

  • Yeah, I though the same thing, I'm looking into the Dremel Rotary tools, any recommendation as to which one I should get?

  • Don't get a cordless one because it'll run out of battery QUICK, and no need to get the expensive one since you will either run low speed or hi speed. The cheaper model (the one I have) is 2 speed, 5000rpm or 35000 rpm. Just buy some additional aluminum-oxide reinforced cutting disks. You will need them.

  • Oh i see, I don't have access to a water-jet cutting machine, but i did find this online: directron.c o m /winkitgreen.html

Would that cutter be strong enough for the wind tunnel?

  • I personally wouldn't trust anything like that for so cheap. 9$ for a complete window kit? My plexiglass cost 12$ by itself, and the window molding was a couple of bucks too.

  • What did you use to cut the hole in the side for the of the case for the window?

  • A hand-jig-saw for the straight cuts and the dremel tool for the corners. A friend of mine used the water-jet cutting machine at our school to cut his out. I'd recommend you try that if you have access to one.

  • how much was it all together roughly? I'd like to build one myself

  • You leave your guitars on a rack and not in the cases?!

  • Well its MY ROOM, I would hope I can leave them out and not worry about them. Cases hinder accessibility.

  • But the dust man! THE DUST!

  • Hahaha, they've been collecting alot of dust these last 2 weeks with the school quarter coming to an end.
