The video was captured using a telephoto lens. That would compress the perspective which would pull the background in much closer than you see with your eyes. You cannot judge speed through a telephoto lens - hence 'that' bend was nowhere near as tight as it appears. I checked it on Google maps & it is long & very gently curving, hardly a 'corner'.

The video was captured using a telephoto lens. That would compress the perspective which would pull the background in much closer than you see with your eyes. You cannot judge speed through a telephoto lens - hence 'that' bend was nowhere near as tight as it appears. I checked it on Google maps & it is long & very gently curving, hardly a 'corner'.
