The game is based on Touhou.

I seriously doubt that Touhou has not even the slight influence into make this game

@PaniPoniTenshi Well, it's a vertical shooter, so the gameplay is based on your typical vertical shooter.

The reason WHY it's a vertical shooter it's because of Tohou and how popular it is in Japan among the otakus and the loli fans.

Beat the game on Hard without losing a single life and you unlock Special Mode...... good luck with Special Mode... the boss is ridiculous... =/

LoL you sound like me. I barely have time to play all the games I have. I was getting them on the regular for 2-3 month with no time to play them. No I didnt play the other No More Heroes shooter. I didnt even know there was one. I never got to the second ranked match xD (thats how little time I have to play most games)

I've only had a chance to play through as one character, I would suggest playing all five, maybe you get more stuff. After my first play I got an anime trailer. I've been too busy doing the money making games to try this out more.

Did you like the shooter in the first game too? That was pretty darn awesome when that first appeared.
