I'm ashamed that people watching this video, people who I'm lumped together with as NASCAR fans, see something so touching and see it as a chance to express their bigoted opinions of anything not American. The United States of America may be one of (if not the) greatest countries in the world, but it's pathetic how we look down on everything that's not exactly like us: white, Christian, American, straight. The founding fathers would shed many tears seeing what America has become.

Veterans' Day (November 11) is the day for remembering the ones who came home alive (AND who are unable to claim their honors on the TENTH of November, as some of us can, we Marines)... (But you Seabees are pretty good folks yourselves. We always did have a good working relationship with you, back to WWII days.) Semper Fi and hoping yours was a good Memorial Day, for all the RIGHT reasons.

I thought it was amazing just how they did this. a mile and a half race track packed with fans of all every single driver, some of them rivals, come together and its so quiet, you can hear a pin drop. Just Friggin amazing... way to go NASCAR

This was one of the most inspirational and difficult planned events in sports. To keep this a secret, to stop the continuum of the race, to get all the drivers to line up, to stop and shut off the engines, and to have Taps played is incredible.
