  • nice shot and big carp! hell yeah!

europeans are just jealous cuz we got wayyyyyy too many carps over here in the States and we are having wayyyyyy too much fun!

    death to all carps!!

  • fucking bastard!! che la morte vi colga più dolorosamente di quanto avete fatto a quella povera amur!! bastard!!!

  • Carp dont hurt the environment they help it but eating the waste that's in the water so the water is cleaner. they do the same job as catfish do. by killing the carp is hurting the environment less carp the more the water is going to go bad

  • @angelo69jes so bill nye explain to me what happens when over extermination of vegetation and other aquatic life is punished because bowfisherman didnt keep the numbers at a moderate level. dumb fuck

  • Dude that's a huge fish great shootin

  • fucking bastards bowfishing is for pussy learn how to catch a carp on rod n reel. any1 who fucking bow fish's suk dick

  • Comment removed

  • grass carp are vegetarian fish, how does catching them on a rod and reel fit into your theory about this? besides they are harmful to the environment due to their eating habits

  • bastard

  • nice shooting

  • I liked the way that first one took off. He didn't get very far though. HeHe Love your videos, make some more.

  • lord have mercy? hope they will bow your ass....nobody will ever catch that fish again, cause you killed for the good sport, not to eat it or something just to kill it..did you know grasscarp can not reproduce themselves? so you just killed another 1 making them more rare fish, which eventually will die out because of morons like you 2 dillholes, get a real rod to fish and put them save and unharmed back in the water...i swear you people piss me off..hope they wil forbid tthis..

  • they'll never forbid this they are not native and destroy vegetative growth that helps oxygen levels and population growth of healthy fight ready bass...

oh yeah also i need these skills for my lake im trying to kill all the white amur in my lake

  • not native here also..the american rednecks who put them out there didnt control them so its their own fault..hope they will eat everything till there is not 1 little stupid bass left..sportfishermen pffffff this is animal cuelty, nothing more nothing less ..

  • they lay 250,00 eggs a year, taking one will not hurt anything you stupid fuck. keep shootin bubno2

  • no more they lay up to 100,00 eggs a month just found out

  • thank god, i pray everyday that the grasscarp are whipped from the face of the earth... those slimy bastards are an invasive species

  • GREAT SHOT!

  • at least it actually is a grass carp.. i detest the fact that people would bowfish for common carp.. common carp are the most highly respected freshwater gamefish in the world.. anyone who wants to bowfish.. please know how to identify your carp..

  • I do not release ANY species of carp or buffalo. They become some osprey, coyote, or bobcat's supper that night!

  • where was this at?

  • good job...looks like you had an awesome day!

  • I shoot 'em with a bow and I don't care

    WHO doesn't like it!

  • In England bow fishing would obviously be allegal. I understand you have thousands more grass carp in the U.S than we do. I caught my first grass carp recently in England and i have been fishing over twenty years, at ten pounds in weight it will sound small to anyone from America, but i had stalked the fish for a few hours and caught it on the bottom on a hair rigged pellet on a size 8 barbless hook, the fish was weighed, photographed and returned within minutes to fight again another day.

  • ...Too difficult to understand for a stupid with a bow....lol

  • Man I have a few things to say. First, after grass carp grow to their biggest, they stop doing their job. People put those carp in ponds to keep vegitation down. You need to get them out of the pond every few years and put in new small carp. Second, carp are horribly overpopulated. Usually shooting them does not dent the population at all. There are to many.

  • EAT ASS CRUST

  • Your gay catch it with a fishing pole like i do faget

  • Nice shooting guys. I belong to a bowfishing club in Illinois and we've had people who live on private lakes get in touch with us to shoot the carp (commons and grassies)to help control their numbers. Those fish tear a lake up. And grass-carp eat all the vegetation in a lake so the newly hatched gamefish have nowhere to hide and nothing to eat. (fry, as new-hatched fish are called, eat the algae growing on aquatic-plants their first few weeks/months of life).

  • nice fish

  • good shootin man where yall shoot at?

  • damm if videos like THIS will get the tree huggers that upset I may have to make a few of them myself! Bowfishing of rough fishes is not only LEGAL, but the bass fishermen cheer you on when they see ya doing it!

  • carp also eat decent fishes eggs and there butt ugly

  • omg u do not pull a carp out of the water by its gills thats just rong

  • treehugger types are the world's worst about just knee jerk reacting, protesting, name calling, & tearing shit up because of some "cause" they just joined in a frenzy & have not even researched. If you DOUBT this, watch carefully the comments they make on ANY hunting or fishing video.

Penn & Teller did a video where they got treehugger types to BAN the use of H2O.

Check it out its here in YOUTUBE!

  • brad, there is something fundamentally wrong with you're logic, i see nothing wrong in this whole video but if you're going to pick it apart isnt it worse that he shot it?

  • learn to spell before you start telling other people that they are wrong.

  • pls get some fucking live you fucking american assholes...

  • yeah well lots of ppl like this sport all around the world asshole.."crackhead"

  • its just sick... and what with the fish huh?,

they just put it back in the water with a whole in

    is body... thats just absurd...

lets see how you feel if they did that with your dog asshole

  • It's a carp. Stop being such a hippie.

  • lol... so its also just a whale?? son of a bitch..

  • take your balls out of your purse you dumb cunt. People are being murdered in the middle east every day and you bitch about a bunch of fishsticks. you're shallow.

  • first off the fish dies tardass. this fish and a dog are two different things. my dog is not overpopulated, carp are. just for your information if i saw a feral dog on my property messing things up and destroying my property it would be shot with a bow just like that fish.

  • you tell 'em!

there is a REASON that carp are called a

    rough fish.

  • ya they kill them to get rid of them but they put it back in the water, where im from their not called fish their called bear bait!

  • please go suck some Arab cock.

  • the reason they are shot is like in new zeland with koi carp there are so many they are consided an aquatic verman

  • ...

  • You idiots, the grass carp =/= Carp.

The US government introduced grass carp from asia to control vegetation. They are way less threat to native species than carps because plants are all that they eat.

It is illegal to kill or keep a grass carp here in Tennessee.

  • wtf grass carp does equal carp they are the same fish, originally they were used to control vegetation but now there are too many of them and they eat good fishes food and yes you can kill them in tennessee

  • You idiots, the grass carp =/= Carp.

The US government introduced grass carp from asia to control vegetation. They are way less threat to native species than carps because plants are all that they eat.

It is illegal to kill or keep a grass carp here in Tennessee.

  • Here in This state they were introduced to control vegitation true, but only in State controlled waters.

  • The fact is that most of the fish they introduce are sterile and can not reproduce. You also can not be in possession of live fish. The fact is that when lands flood they spread to other waters not meant to be populated by carp of anykind. So your argument that we put them here has little ground to stand on against the argument they they are overpopulated and need to be removed because they dont belong here.

  • you have got to be kidding. most carp spawn 3-4 times a year. have you ever seen a truly overpopulated lake? you can drop a naked hook and instantly pull out carp 5-6 inches. we fished like that at a friend of mines' lake, killed about 200, and it didnt even dent the population.

  • OH and you are wrong. It is legal to take grass carp/ white amur with a bow or crossbow in TN. Thanks.

  • gawd PLEASE shoot as many Amur carps as you can because these things are nothing but an eat/shit machine. If you doubt this please see a video about the Amur carp. It is the worst of the lot.

  • I'd love to plant that big carp right beside my roses. They'd grow 20 feet taller. Nice video!

  • Excellent catch !!!! Kill as many as you can please...

  • Try using a rod for grass carp... then it's a sport... this is the way for pussies!

  • the idea is to kill as many as possible, using a rod isn't as efficient. Species like this destroy native fish habitat, he's doing the area a favor getting rid of them.

  • You are trying to correct a mistake by a mistake.

Killing grass carp with a arrow is nt a long term solution, but it is a typically American solution by just killing as many as possible and hoping it works.

Nature will sort itself out, just learn not to interfere. Its funny how you lot put them in the lakes and now you want them out !!!

  • So are you saying that you didnt't want them here, but now that they've been introduced you'd like them to stay? That makes just as much sense.

  • "We" did not put them here. The government back in the late 1800s did. Remember this was a time when people really didn't care much about the environment or give much thought to our actions. If given the chance now, they would never be allowed into our lakes.

  • Carp are an an invasive species and are destoying the habitat of more useful species. I've never met anyone that couldn't use a cane pole. I've met a whole lot of people that can't shoot a bow.

  • how can there be any skill in targeting the most over populated species in the lake??

and with a spear !!! come on guys, its not a real form of fishing and we all know that.

Try catching something thats a bit harder to catch.

...and try catching it on the bottom in 10 feet of water at 50 or 60 metres out, were you cant see it!!!

The spear would nt work then!!! ha ha

  • what could be harder than shooting an arrow at a fish with a pole you just let your line out and wait i agree with derherr plus it takes patience and skill not just patience

  • When fishing with a rod and line the fish dont just hook themselves you know !!???

bow fishing IS considered barbaric to the majority of the western world apart from the USA.

The controlling of any fish or animal that is over populated should not be done by harpooning fish by guys that cannot honestly call themselves fishermen.

  • this is more reason I am so glad that great great grand dad and great great grand mum did NOT miss the ship sailing for freedom.

  • You are such a dumm ass!

  • i bow fish and i fish with a rod and reel and both are equal challenging fishing is tough because u have to have the right bait and no when to set the hook, but bowfishing is also tough because u have to know how long ur line is were to shoot to hit it and what u can shoot. Hell i bet u cant jack shit with a bow so you are just mad that other people can

  • holy did that thing break the record it had to be atleast 65 pounds maybe less cause it wasnt full of eggs

  • oh master!

  • very big!
