Funny bugs and weird scenes from Actua Soccer 1996

I played a lot of league games and at one certain moment I tried to promote one of the C group teams (very lower ranked teams- china, wales, finland) into A group (very good teams- brasil, italy, holland, germany, spain etc). Because this is a movie of a match against sweden I remember that sweden played very, very well at home and if you beat them on their own turf you could consider yourself champion. But when you played them at home, they were not so good and you could beat them.

Or in cup games, if you choose cup, the first team is like playing at home, plays better and when you are the second team you play at a lower speed, like you play away. Like the cup games in England, this feature is fabulous. I don't know any other game with this feature, please name one if you know.

I know that the majority of you does not have a good opinion about this game. But, let me tell you smth, i found out that this game has a feature that not even a 2012 game has- try playing a league and you will see that when you play away vs computer, you have a more difficult game- you don't have the same pace, the oponent plays better than when you play home. This feature is fantastic, like in real life- one team plays better at home than away, please name a game that has this feature nowadays

Haha good video, quality game! Yeah I scored several goals from directly from throw-ins! Another trick I worked out, is to chip a free kick so it will just drop in without bouncing, keeper never moves, so you just have to get it on target (which still isn't that easy when chipping)! Never realised that bug about kicking the ball out of the keepers hand though! Nice one!!

Thanks for the upload, but is that a prototype game you have? It looks slightly different and has that clip with nobody in the stadium.

Either way it is an awesome game and my first on the PS1 back in the summer of 1997 :D

I still have it now and may just dust it off to give kicking the keeper a go and putting the wind speed up. Throw in goals were really effective when you were playing as awful teams like Finland and away from home.

@playl1fe The scenes with the empty stadium were recorded with most graphic detail settings being set to low, which was a desparate try to increase the frame rate while recording (didn't help much, tho).

best game ever! i swear i scored from a throw in!! was total mental but thats why we loved it! wish i still had it and the clubs edition! superb upload thanks!!! use to love the big stadium i it!!
