  • Most of you do not know this, but Rodney grandfather was an enforcer for murder Inc, I will not name him, I"ll let you guys figure that one out

  • @peeweemax100 That's complete bullshit. You are a complete scumbag for shitting on his memory. His parents immigrated from Hungary and his Maternal and Fraternal Grand Parents never set foot on American soil. Louis Cohen, who you are suggesting was his grandfather, was in his 20's when Dangerfield was born so how the hell could he be Rodneys Grandfather?

  • this movie became gold because of rodney

  • "Hey Ringo, play something hot..."

  • my husband greg york is an asshole

  • I'd let Rodney Dangerfield insult me all he wanted. For one thing, I'd get a good laugh, and for another thing, he'd pay me.

  • Rodney was an absolute classic!

  • Haha! Rodney is the modern Groucho Marx. Insulting, vulgar, and witty all rolled into one.

People should check out the old Marx Brothers comedies. Groucho was the Rodney of the 1930s.

  • RIP Ted Knight and Rodney.

  • HA HA HA, Rodney was the main man in this movie!

  • My favorite scene from "Caddyshack"! Everytime I hear the song "Boogie Wonderland" I'm always reminded of this scene!

  • hahahaha 14 Dollars the HARD way !!haha what a classic line! as only Rodney could deliver it. Sure miss you Rodney! Thanks for posting this!!!

  • LMAO! You really don't know what that meant? I hope to God you are kidding.

  • elegant

  • i said that line to this kids date who i was going at with at my prom.....what made it funnier was niether him or his date cared. lol

  • What's that song they're playing?

  • Boogie Wonderland, whoever sings it I don't remember

  • Earth, Wind, and Fire

  • im no doorknob either, alriiight lol

  • superb

  • Well, it is comedy. Not intelligent conversation. Don't forget the jokes aimed at the Judge's wife because of her age, such as "You must have been something before electricity" or something Rodney says along the lines. I think it was more aiming at the age jokes than physical jokes, but I could be wrong. After all, it's a comedy.

  • It's kind of funny because it just sounds like an arbitrary figure and a low one at that! I mean even the cheapest hookers (in North America anyways) make more. That makes it even funnier!

  • Plus add the fact that Rodney's character is supposed to be rich and even he won't shell out more than a mere $14 for the woman's 'services.'

  • "Hey you wanna make 14 dollars the hard way!"

Fuck yeah! Rodney is the king of comedy!

  • "Hey you wanna make 14 dollars the hard way!" It always sounded funny. Obviously, a sexual reference. But what does it exactly mean? And was 14 dollars just some arbitrary number, or does it, too, have a significance?

  • seriously, don't over think this stuff. it's comedy, not rocket science.

  • jeez cvjucla3, my condolences to anyone who has to watch a movie with you.

  • Fortunately, it will not be w/ you.

  • I had the distinct honor and privilige of seeing the late, great Rodney at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas in 2001. He was the greatest stand-up comic of all time and is sorely missed.

  • Spiritual comedy !!!!!!

  • Hero

  • THAT'S FUCKING BRILLIANT. I FUCKING LOVE RODNEY DANGERFIELD! HE'S RIGHT UP THERE WITH CARLIN, AND PRYOR. R.I.P. old friend.

  • YOU!! Play sumthin'hot.

    YOU!! Take more lessons.

  • They don't make comedies like this anymore!

  • CLASSIC !!

  • "do u wanna earn 14 dollars the hard way"........superb!

and look at the way he's dancing just after he throw's his money up in the air..........brilliant!!!

  • 14 bucks the hard way. classic
