can someone please explain to me what it means to throw "wimpy"? i'm thinking it's when two synched balls cross... like in two-up one-up rainbow crosses. i could really use some help with this.
@MadJugglerTV Thanks! After I work on some of the stuff boppo suggested on rec juggling, hopefully I'll be able to get the full qualify at some point in the future!
@bozobozo I want to consistently qualify 8 balls in wimpy, sync, and async.
I actually found at first that wimpy felt easier, but I am starting to think that sync is easier. We will just have to wait to see which one I qualify first. As far as Async goes, I love the pattern more than the other two, but it is definitely harder.
But who knows, based on the amount of tries it took me for each, async seemed to be the easiest (2nd try), but I was already warmed up.
@peterbone I've thought about trying smaller balls/bean bags for numbers, but I just love the feel of russians.
I saw David Ferman working on 9 balls at a festival with 3" Russians, an loved how they looked, so I decided that I'd use 3" russians myself for numbers.
The issue I am running into now is that with 3" the launch for 9 seems to be just as hard as the technique for flashing it. I feel like 9+ is where your beanbags shine.

Very, very nice!
Extra points for doing it with russian balls!
Interestingly I've never been able to flash 8 balls in the wimpy pattern. On async however, I get it half of the times I try.
Are you aiming for a qualify or to get the flash down consistently?

I'm sure you'll qualify it soon. Your balls look big for doing numbers.
