  • If Zionist Israel has their way this war will have been in vain. True American Patriots do not support Israel or Zionist influence!

  • The over-the-mountain men were Scots-Irish immigrants who were given land on the outskirts of the colonies, to help quell Indian uprisings. After 40 years of frontier experience, these Scots-Irish where very proficient at Indian tactics and gave the Brits a sound thrashing. It is also noteworthy that these Scots-Irish also had a bitter history that went back to early English conquests of Scotland and what become known as the Ulster Plantation in Northern Ireland. In essence a blood feud.

  • British killing British. What a tragedy.

  • @karezza6 ^ True story

  • Best way to study ^_^

  • Interesting how details of history are often changed, in this instance perhaps to give Washington undue credit. What is said at 3:45 about Washington differs from other history that says the insightfulness to get the French fleet to Chesapeak Bay and march the American and French armies to Yorktown was all Rochambeau's strategy and his battle plan used when they got there. Washington was against the whole idea at first and had to be persuaded by his subordinates who understood.

  • french piece of shit u americans allways have help in wars u shit bags

  • @88pastie u british or french?

  • You're not late if you never wanted to be part of it...

  • How can they say wrong things. "British offficers went out of the fortifications under a white flag" at 8.24 : it's the royal french flag, not a surrender flag they depict!

  • 'Bloody Tarleton' - Tarleton had no such nickname, this is a creation of 20th century American propaganda. Tarleton was an exceptional cavalry commander and a hero. Americans invent rubbish to tarnish his reputation.

  • This is amazing! Helped me learn so much! :)

  • At 1:12 the middle guy has glasses, it didn't existed at that time !!!!

  • @iloveeverything219 actually they are believed to have been invented in 1286!!!!!!!! (and I've got more exclamation points than you!!)

  • @jarobinsonjr

Actually, glasses like that didn't existed at that time !!!!!!!!!!!! ( and I've got more exclamation points than you!!!)

  • @iloveeverything219 you're a dumbass.......

  • @iloveeverything219 benjiman franklin had glasses-_-

  • haha is that guy on the left not to small to be a grenadier?

  • It's so funny how Americans are always making fun of French army, even though if it wasn't for the French, USA would still belong to the United Kingdom....

  • @OnlyLifeMatters at the time it was Great Britain, not the UK.

  • @OnlyLifeMatters It was different times. They are not even near the superpower today as they were then.

  • @OnlyLifeMatters

It's so funny how Americans are always making fun of French army, even though if it wasn't for the French, USA would still belong to the United Kingdom....

You said it. But then most average americans notion of history don't go past 100 years. Those who actually know their own country's history know that the treaty that guaranteed their country is named after the capital of the people so many of their ignorant countrymen disrespect.

  • IT's always the bloody French...

And I have to say, the accents in this video are terrible

  • I love how everyone is always fighting with each other about if england or America is better, even though we hold one of the greatest military alliances the world has ever seen. And putting down an American is like putting down yourselves, considering most of us have british roots

  • Stupid French, always getting involved in our business.

  • @Joe143cool Oh no without the french of course you right now would be part of the British empire and you wouldnt have the freedom to comment on this video. Fucker

  • @wolffromsteam

Cornwallis was going to entrench himself at Yorktown as it was, French or no French...

Greene's army was still intact in the south. All he had to do was wait for Washington to meet him on the outskirts of Yorktown. The Americans couldve done it themselves.

What they couldnt do was beat the Royal navy in the Chesappeake.

  • @USMarineRifleman0311

    No.

If there were no French, there wouldn't have been the naval fleet of Warships trapping Cornwallis.

If there was a /British/ fleet there instead, the colonial rebels would've been blown to tiny pieces if they approached the coast

  • Screw Ben Franklin, and the doodles For,Saint George!

  • you could not win the war without the Scott's & Irish who made up your young nation most of whom had only arrived a few years earlier. and had to fight the British army made up with the staving from there own clan back home !

  • @PcScottLanyard i think its the fact that some went and left Great Britain and created the 13 colonies. but they still followed and thought it was "okay" for them to rule people. they put taxes on everything and they weren't fair. all the colonist wanted was freedom and looked who won!

  • British surrendering to the French... I'm coming !

  • @townsley2 Yeah but Britain beat the crap out of France at the same time in the Siege of Gibraltar, so the frogs don't have that much to gloat about.

  • ahh the french always willing to team up against us they got us on this one but remember wateroo you frogs

  • @gunnuta20 Remember Napoleon should never have gotten off Elba to even get to Waterloo. He didn't bring the Grande Armee but a cluster-fuck militia still loyal to him. He was outnumbered 2:1 against a combined Anglo-Prussian army with muddled units to fight with. He was defeated by the Russian winter, not on any battlefield.

  • @gunnuta20 you're such a moron. stop generalizing an entire fucking nation, grow the fuck up loser.

  • @gunnuta20

Waterloo? British represented about 20% of the allied forces. And Wellington himself claimed his army was inexperienced, ill-equipped and that his officers sucked balls. Remember that roastbeef.

  • as a brit my biggest interest is military battles, if you watch the film with richard harris in about the british civil war you will understand why our brothers left our shores to go to the americas.... and when they settled there the king tried to do it again but in a different country.for me this battle was our 2nd civil and final war.america was born so let it end there with all the silly comments...

  • “WE THE PEOPLE” HAVE LOST THEIR ONCE PROUD NATION TO A BUNCH OF ZIONIST CROOKS.

AMERICAN SECOND REVOLUTION NOW!!! BEFORE IT’S TOO LATE!!!

  • British General "Clinton" makes you think, lol

  • 0:59 worst attempt at a British accent ever

  • @uafchris And compared to the british accent, american accent suck balls.

  • @uafchris ikr! It was an EPIC FAIL!!! XD

  • @PcScottLanyard They also constantly put Americans down, check the comments.

  • the German battle!

  • Hey cant they made prolonged documentaries of such a kind, it would be great indeed.

By the way that sample is of exceptional quality

  • Couldn't have done it without the French then ;)

  • USA is better than europe.

  • @RUPERTDOUGLAS90 That's like saying a baby that has only been alive for a day is a greater person than an ancient and wise man who still lives at a grand age of 100.

  • I re-enact so I know why only a portion of troops fire at once but I think it would be amazing if all like 150 americans fire at once !!!

  • guys do not forget the war of 1812. that was the Britain's second war

  • IT IS BETTER TO LOSE WITH HONOUR THAN WIN WITH DISGRACE! -

  • USA is late for every war! example in ww2 the war started in 1939 and they joined AFTER pearl harbour!

  • @KingsofSparta It was none of their concern. America is a capitalist country devoted to making profits. Of course they would keep out of the war. Why would they want to involve themselves in something that was of no concern. Of course the Germans would never of allowed them to continue in this way and that would of been a bad idea for America. America would never of been able to outfight the German armed forces alone. No one could.

  • @KingsofSparta Sorry. We figured France would last longer than a month. Our bad. lol.

  • @KingsofSparta US public opinion was opposed to entering another huge European War, we felt burned after giving crucial aid and turning the tide of WWI with fresh troops and fresh tactics and then in the negotations at Versailles we were ignored and the Anglo-French punitive terms set the stage for another war. It took the Pearl Harbor and the realization that the axis powers had tran Oceanic reach to make us see the importance defeating totalitarians in Eurasia.

  • @Rexanglorum You didn't turn the tide in WW1 and you certainly didn't use fresh tactics but outdated tactics that had earlier been discarded by all beligerents. The US was ignored at Versailles because of it playing a minor role at the end of the war.

  • @KingsofSparta because they didnt want to join another war they wanted to stay nuetral ever heard of wilsons 14 points we didnt want to get in europes bloody wars but japanese terrorist had to bomb pearl harbor!

  • @PcScottLanyard well said!

  • Alright, alright. We know all the things about if the British didn't treat us like crap. But the truth is. We are cousins. Just because we Americans broke off from them does not mean we can treat them bad again. We did what needed to be done to save our people then. The British are now our closest friends in the World and we need to treat them likewise. As I said, we are cousins. We all have our roots either in Europe or Britain.

  • Happy "we kicked your limey ass" Day!

  • @TheImperialistStates More like Happy 'god bless France because without them we would have been obliterated' day.

  • Britain! Not England! Ahhhh. Do some geography and learn your history!!

"England treated the colonies like crap"...No no no thank you.

Great Britain is the best, by far! Best people, best armed forces, best healthcare, best police, and the greatest traditions. Most of which we utilised in establishing 13 colonies!

  • @MrSRB2011 I love the Brits. And I thank them for the great traditions they passed on to we American cousins. BUT you cannot say you have the best: food, weather, teeth, complexion, or best-looking women. (France, Italy, Greece, Spain for that). In your list of "bests" though you forgot Rock Music. Cannot even father the last 40 years of music without Great Britain's influence! You took our blues music, repackaged it and gave us back some of the greatest music EVER! God bless you mate.

  • HAPPY 4TH

  • @PcScottLanyard It is just part of History,,,

  • @PcScottLanyard England treated the colonies like crap, just like they treated nearly every colony they ever had. Losing America was big time though, major screw up by England.

  • @mrceebees14 It was actually the smart thing to give up America. Britain at that time was still in the process of conquering India and Africa as well as flooding China with opium. At the same time the RN was the only thing stopping the French, Dutch, Spanish, Portuguese, Venitians, German principalities etc from attacking Britain. Its like the Germans concentrating all of their main forces against the main threat of Russia as opposed to Britain/America.

  • I hate how is always George III who was "evil". Ever though it could be his ministers? Lord North for example. If I were the King I would have sent my son over there to establish a Regency. Established a gentry and nobility.

  • @Delabane There were many in Parliament who believed that by fighting against the colonists they were fighting the ghosts of parliaments past. The English civil war and the subsequent reformation of the government and royalty was as a result of similar oppressive measures in England as in America.

  • Can any one tell me why there is no more king in england anymore? or if there already is, then who is he?

  • 1812.

  • @Bwmz are you a mason or part of some secret society, writing "1812" on certain videos to signla certain people so that you guys can do something. cause if you are a mason or an illuminati or part of some secret society, you better not be doing something that will kill billions of people and and dominate the world and have a new world order, of the six million more or less masons out there there`s a chance that you could be one, and if you are a mason, and the one you have to gut to tell their..

  • @Bwmz secrets, you better not do something evil, im living a peaceful life, so dont make it bad if your part of those secret organizations that do secret things, and those new world order things.....

  • @PcScottLanyard Wait so we are supposed to believe you show me a video of it. Or it didnt happen lol

  • bringing a Brown Bess up against a Kentucky is like bringing an AK to an M16 firefight

  • @USMarineRifleman0311 of course in that analogy the m16 gets absolutely destroyed by the ak....

  • @wing2ply there wouldn't be a British flag in america if the British treated them right, every country will fight or gain its independence eventually most likely after WW2 since that was kinda about freeing other countries from the Nazi empire it would be very hypocritical if any empire who fought kept there countries afterward.

  • long live france!

  • wiat the americas final victory was in 1781 and the war ended in 1783?

  • I like it how you managed to get our (British) flag wrong on the map! See 1:27, that flag's only been used since 1801.

  • @spacemarinetom, yup, wrong flag but at least the narrator spoke the name Gloucester properly.

  • Stop getting pissed, my nationality is american, and I have a little french blood in my vains. I will always love america for what we are, and Im pretty sure that others do too. But we are all people and between the Americans, French, and British we all have alot of history together... who we should really get mad at is the dam australian's! I mwan where do they come in at...? na, just kidding I love australian's i love every nationality!

  • america should have a national french day, im british and i love america, theyre the greatest power in the world apart from the EU, but in all honesty you americans should be very greatfull to the french because without them u would have lost that war, and the british werent that intrested in america because it had nothing to trade, we were far more intrested in keeping india under british control as it was our most prized possesion thats why we had such a small army in america compared to india

  • @1987scottb i would thank the french. but im pretty sure liberating them from nazi rule in wwII more than sufficed. guess we're even now.

  • Soviet Union won WW2 in Europe

  • the british had a choice between to empires-one in india with its wealth, economy, exports of valuable goods, taxes already in place or a newly founded american empire, which only had towns down the west coast, no real weath economy based mainly on farming and still mainly settled by north amrican indians. the british naturally send all there best men an resources to india where they stayed for 200 years. so there was no real gain in holding onto america

  • USA USA USA....WE RUN SHIT...DONT FUCK WITH AMERICA OR YOULL GET A BOOT IN YOUR ASS

  • @nyjet2210 Of course thats why we are losing the wars in iraq and afganistan!

  • A agree with wing2ply. If british weren't harsh and treated us horribly, we would have a british flag flying over America today.

  • i love how everybody's getting so mad about this...america won, get over it

  • This should be called France's final Victory

  • @salazar55555 , so you're going on all the videos out of jealousy? that's funny lol, that's really sad too

  • @CashSmeller It is a fact the French troops out numbered the American rebels. You was by far loosing More battle than you won till France got involved. And if we would of stopped the French fleet in the English Channel you still would of remained a colony. The Victory of the war of independence belong to the French General Rochembeau. He's strategy he's battle tatics he's troops and he funded the rebels at yorktown only turned up because he funded them.It was a French Victory

  • This should be renamed France's final victory

  • @1stLordTheAdmiralty1

France won that war as America won WW2. Same process, same results. I'm french and thankful toward America for helping us in 1944. Please American, do the same for 1780 !

  • I seem to remember the American colonials begged the French to help them beat off a handful of Brits while Britain's elite Army and Navy were busy fighting a Manly war in Europe.

  • @PcScottLanyard ...you crazy bleach

  • So basically the Americans were effective cowards?

  • About "Bloody Tarlton": This wonderful little documentary neglects to mention that the massacre was precipitated by his horse being shot from under him whilst they were surrendering ;)

  • the greedy british politicians who,s arrogance is beyond compare, the king would not have any say in the army,s running ,kings and queens have no power then and now, they fight in the kings name!!!!god save the queen.

  • "The Bristish" a well established & disciplined Super Power vs it's colonist we couldn't have won the war without brave colonist, trick tactics & allot of help from Franch/ other nations.

  • 'Anti American propaganda' ? You idiot, this is true history. The only falsity in the title of this video is the fact they called it an American victory, it was a French victory.

  • @considine93 American war, American Victory =p.

  • @considine93 It was an American and French allied victory....obviously since they both participated.

  • The name of this video " America's Final Victory is false and it is also anti American propaganda.

  • That fucking accent lmao!

Just hire an English actor ffs.

WE kept Canada, the 1776 skirmish was hardly a victory for the yanks.

  • TARELTON'S QUARTERS!

  • jealous britts always complaining because back in the day they were the superpower in the world those days are long gone so now they go on you tube and bitch about america because thats all they can do talk about crying over spilled milk england is a joke now in the worlds eyes sad....

  • just saying this american documentary isnt saying anything about the cowardly tactics of ambushes.

  • @wigster600 its called guerilla warfare, a very smart war tactic to take out the British bit by bit since the Americans were so outnumbered. It may be a little cowardly but also very necessary. There was no chance for the Americans without that hit and run tactic

  • @wigster600 well how else would a handfull of rebels fight the the world's leading military power?..plus i think u guys are trying to make yourselfs feel better about losing the revoloution and the war of 1812. U lost, it happens just how we lost the vietnam war, but dont search american revolution videos and then disrespect the men who gave their lives for freedom by calling them cowards. If they were cowards they wouldnt have fought at all. So please, stfu u limy troll.

  • @wigster600 Hey The British were regulars & a super power, you gotta do what you gotta do to win a war.

Some of the battles were without honor but at the end were a free nation. We could of fought the British head-to-head & foolishly be beatn.

  • @eveque you realise however that, Britain at this period in time had next to no concern in this war. Had we known about all it's oil, gold and other resource's believe me, it would still have the British flag flying there today.

We would have said "fuck India, America's the shit" (okay not that, but you get me?). We also have to take into context that british america was just the east coast, and not all of that. so there would be even less point in fighting for it.

  • I think the colonists liked king James better. But he was decapitated by Oliver Cromwell and his army.

  • If the British would have treated us right instead of like garbage, there would be a British flag flying over us today. You can believe this or not but it's true. They simply thought they were above us and that we should live our lives "By their leave".

  • @wing2ply I disagree. I don't think thy thought they were above us, they just probably wanted payback for the French & Indian war. But they wanted too much payback.

  • @wing2ply Yes, the Canadians were treated fairly under the Quebec Act after the French and Indian War, exempt from the injustices the coastal colonies suffered. The Canadians refused to join with the United States during the Revolution and become the 14th state, and instead had a British flag flying above them until the early 1930's, and they still are part of the "Commonwealth" and answers to the Queen.

  • @wing2ply you would have eventually wanted independence anyway, like Canada did. Britain lost because they fought like a traditional war and the rebels used geurilla warfare. Im British but pro american, King George was very foolish, much like former president george bush

  • @jordanj942

Yes you are correct. A good number of the British people hated the king and supported the rebels. In fact many British referred to the Americans as their brothers which is understandable considering most Americans at the time were British by blood and culture. Also it's fair to mention that there were many Americans who wanted to remain loyal to king. Americans never hated the British people, most of the hate was directed to the king.

  • @wing2ply thing is they didn't treat them all that bad... a 10% tax Whoooo... you probably pay 40% now

  • @wing2ply asleep during your history lessons then?

A, America at the time of the War of Indepence was a British Colony so 'you' were British colonials, B, America actually enjoyed far more freedoms than the lower classes in Britain did so 'your' demands were always going to be viewed as unreasonable or even treasonous, C, for the first year or so it was by no means certain the colonial forces would win.

  • @2112forfour

your worst action was increasing the taxes to make up for your fuck ups in Europe.

If that didnt happen, the N. American continent wouldve been called to this day the UK of A

  • @USMarineRifleman0311 The average briton in the 1770s payed 26 times more in taxes than the average American. The increases in taxes, which were negligible and all repealed, were to help pay for the French and Indian war and upkeep of British army to defend North America. Americans at the time were the richest most prosperous people in the world. The rebellion against British rule was due to greed and the fact they were so prosperous the colonists no longer needed to be ruled by Britain.

  • @wing2ply the funny thing is most of you were british anyway haha

  • @wing2ply Don't be fucking ridiculous. If America had lost this war, they would have still become independant by about the mid 1800's. The only difference is, you would be tamed, civilized people like the Canadians, instead of the flag waving apes that you are today!

  • @TheLiberalKnight lol, angry Euro xD

  • @TheLiberalKnight I'm happy with what my country has been is and will be. No things are not great now but thye will get better some day. What you thnik does not matter. And I find what you say about the Canadians very insulting, they are an independent people and are not cowards. And I think very highly of Britian if you want to now.

  • @wing2ply Agreed, although I am British, I am quite disgusted with my countries history. We were major dicks to Ireland (despite being part of the UK at one point), America and everyone else who was part of our empire. Honestly, if I was alive during the War of Independence, I would probably betray my country. In fact, many British soldiers who fought in the war moved to the US, because they realised how unfair their country was to the US.

  • @Zukouh

Dirty work? You had to get the French to fight for you because as always, the American Continental Army was completely inadequate and inexperienced in the field. But what do you do? Oh, that's right, being American you claim credit for something you didn't even accomplish. England had the largest empire in the world and 200 British soldiers held out against 4,000 Zulus at Rorke's Drift in 1879, so get your facts right sonshine!

  • @mjm0787

Your own prejudices against Americans don't change the fact that Britain was defeated. In history classes in America, it is always taught that the French helped the colonists, and also that the colonists did a lot of damage themselves. After the Battle of Bunker Hill, the French foreign minister said that the British army would be defeated with two more such costly victories.

Did you also forget that the British brought in the Hessians before Americans had France's help?

  • @mjm0787

  • A long battle we Fought hard and Won The British have been Defeated

  • One of the great ironies of history but England today seems to be full of French - and Americans! Oh, and I forgot to mention the Germans and Russians too.

  • The British wernt evil you guys watch too many mel gibson movies! Britain could have took America back into there colony any time they had wanted the American rebels only won because of the french forces and the french navy. Americans rebels were very poor and nearly all would fire a few shots then run away. Look at war of 1912 britain was at war with france in europe and at war with rebels all other her emire and britain still humiliated the americans forces and invaded.

  • @martynrobin121 and look at us today, The strongest Military in the word.

  • washington was a traitor, having the french as an ally, how could he betray his british brothers that way:O(

  • @broadband01 king george taxed us too much

  • Europe needs help. It is slowly conquered by muslims. They cannot do it by the means or war, but they are doing it inside out.

    Alarm bells ringing !!

  • @Zukouh

... Well, first of all, I should say that British were not as cruel to their colonists in Americas. No matter what, the colonists were still mostly British immigrants,

Also, about the battle of Ishandlwana, the Zulus had about 20000+ impi warriors while British had less than a thousand regulars and mercenaries(African) combined... As far as I know, Zulus had 3 or more times higher casualties and only if the African mercenaries didn't rout, the British might have stood it..

  • @monsieurtoutlemonde1 of course, France did back out of the promised support until after Saratoga, and even then started to back off twice. Most Americans give props to the French for helping. Of course, poor relations aren't actually anything new. "Betrayed by a friend!!!" that was the American cry during the Quasi-War and up through the end of Napoleon...because you betrayed us. Don't act innocent. You're not.

  • @reenactor19th French did help US to become independent. I agree that they kept on backing out and couldn't be trusted by heart, but the thing is, how could've the rebels succeed in taking Yorktown and take the entire British army as prisonors if it wasn't the French? French force had 6000 land troops on land and was cutting off British supplies with its navy under de Grasse. The British fleet which came for relief was repelled by de Grasse and thats why Cornwallis surrendered and treaty signed.

  • @Zukouh

Sorry but haven't america lost more men then britian in afghan ?

  • "British economists Harold Laski once said "America bestrides a Colossus neither Rome at the height of its power nor Great Britain at its height of economic supremacy enjoyed an influence so direct, so profound, so pervasive" That was in 1947.

  • @Zukouh

Yeah but we had our way with them more times than they did with us. Thats why we had the biggest and most powerful empire in history!

  • @aspiringdrummer17 "Yeah but we had our way with them more times than they did with us". Same as well. Also sorry to brake it to you but Britain was not. The USA is, No country has ever had more influence, larger economy, or military presence than the USA those are the main things a superpower needs, after the USA it was the USSR, than French than British.

  • @VanOstrum

The British empire covered the largest area of land on the planet compared to any other empirical power before or since. FACT! In terms of democracy and politics, America is a child in the world, with no tact or experience, just lots of money it doesn't have the wherewithal to know what to do with.

  • America had to get France and Spain and Holland to win the war of Independence because they were too scared and incompetent to fight the British. Before then we were whooping your fat faggy yank asses. And you lost Vietnam Hahahahahahaha

  • @mjm0787 where did we lose Vietnam? when the peace treaty was signed, the North's ass had been kicked back above the DMZ, the VC had been destroyed, and the South's government was standing. Two years later, when the North broke the treaty and there were less than 1,000 US troops left in country, they took the South. Facts suck, don't they?

  • @reenactor19th

I guess they do as America is always conveniently twisting historical fact to cover it's own blatant incompetence.

  • @mjm0787

They weren't too scared or too incompetent to fight the British. They declared their independence before they had any of those countries as allies. Guerilla tactics were used all over the world, and even in previous wars in North America against Great Britain. Using those tactics against an enemy much more powerful than you is called being intelligent, not being cowardly. Looking for allies in such a war is also intelligent. Many nations were upset with Britain, and colonists realized.

  • @mjm0787 Wow I mean wow. I lost my uncle in nam. And thats why were fought you all the way till 1781 when finally the French helped? We fought from 1776 to 1781 with no holland or spain or french it was 100 percent american spirit. and thanks to the french we dont have to deal with you english bad teethed fuckers bugging us in america. Also vietnam was a tactical retreat. The war went on for a nother 2 years for the nva and sva

  • @wolffromsteam

holy crap you have no idea what's real. lol

    French helped you before 1781.

the Netherlands and Spain never helped you anyway, they just served to distract the British from unleashing Hell upon you.

Vietnam was a defeat. Ho Chi Minh ran over us with his dirty jungle commies; Vietnam is a sad result. But that is from lack of international support for the South.

Not by American failures per se.

  • ok, so why does everyone say America lost the war of 1812? America was the first country to say " look, even though you captured our capital and burnt it down, we are still going to beat you tea drinking fags back to the sea." During that time period if a countries capital was captured then they would declare that war as a lost cause, but not the lovely USA. General Jackson gathered up and army and destroyed a whole british Army at the battle of new orleans. America was outnumberd 2 to 1 and won

  • I love this part of history : at that time, an army of 20 000 men was enough to hold several states of america while many european battles involving an average of 200 000 men had few consequences on the war destiny. This was the glorious colonial era!!!!

  • fuck the brits they lost! :D

  • Haha, figures a bunch of angry Brits show up to the story of their final ass kicking.

  • Angry Brits do turn up for one reason only.

Its not a revoulution, dumbfucker. Its a war of Independence.

  • @nyblake, Yeah next time we kicked your ass in 1812.

  • @JackoMW No you didn't. Your burned down Washington, but that was only because we burned your Canadian capitol. Plus, we didn't defend it b/c our senators didn't even live there. You got beat outside Baltimore, you got beat outside New Orleans, and your three-pronged invasion from Canada got stopped butt cold. Oh, and the column that burned Washington, once it met US resistance got turned back immediately. How is this victory?

  • Great video. Vive la France and God bless America! Both great nations!

  • BORING SUCK

  • All those grand French names and in a few years time their heads would be rolling around the streets of Paris, what a shame. Rule Britannia

  • We beat the world's strongest military. Ha ha Oh yes and France helped us. But don't get such big heads Brits, yes you're awesome but you did colonize half the earth! Oh yes and with France and Spain too. Can't forget Spain, they gave us those lovely Mexicans.

  • wow what a well coordinated french and american alliance

  • A stab in the back to your own people. A dishonourable conflict and quite possibly the downfall of us all.

  • @Auggiethepiggie Unified and became one? I cannot reiterate enough the fact that there were more Loyalists than Rebels in this conflict. People who did not want a war and were quite prepared to pay the tiny tax for their own protection. Some however, notably the smugglers, slave owners and such (no names) were unhappy with the extra British tariff's and crack downs on illegal trade so launched an effective propaganda campaign - something the US has been excellent at ever since.
