Well, to summarize, I was seeing a woman off and on for about 2 years at that point. I went home for Christmas, across the country (alone) and while I was gone she called me to to tell me it was over, two days before New Years. At the same time, I had been IMing a different woman for just as long. Her and I still talk. It was the end of one relationship, and (maybe) the start of another.
