I don't think George sounded grumpy. He was quite charitable toward Sean Penn. He's just not a giddy schoolboy in this interview. The seriousness is refreshing.

George sounds like a grumpy old fuddy duddy here. I'm surprised he even knew what MIDI was. He seemed so much younger five years later at the Billboard awards.
