Henry Fonda's character in this movie is so much like my late paternal grandfather's. He too was very afraid of death and was very pessimistic about growing old, and was also very nostalgic. He lived to be pretty old, but I didn't get a chance to say my goodbyes to him. I sure miss him, along with so many other people I've lost.

Does anybody know how old Henry Fonda was in this movie? I know he died only a short time later, but did he pass kind of young by today's standards?
