Bachus is doing what "great" Republicans do very well. Being so very wrong while being so very right. The idea that The Fed holds the majority of US debt and "not China" is false. When China buys those bonds, the bonds belong to China. If what he means is that the actual bonds are physically "held" at the Federal Reserve Depository for the Chinese then he is right. China owns more American debt than any other entity. Isnt that why we need to audit the Fed? So this info is more clear to everyone?

Yes the FED is buying government bonds and debt. What are they buying it with? Paper money that is freely printed by them with no value to it at all!

Whether neoconservative Republican to maintain US dollar world hegemony, or liberal Democrat to obtain world resources for a long term high consuming and entitlement spending economy, it doesn't matter. An interventionist, resource accumulating, welfare-warfare foreign policy is inevitable.
