  • your just jeleous that your not as hot or good singer as him.. they arnt the ones wanting attention..its you! faggit

  • I couldn't pay attention to anything he was saying. His nose is so goddamn funny. You're right funnifal. It does look like a mushroom. Something's growing onto his upper lip. Maybe it's a cleft palate or a cleft nose. He needs to have some work done. It wouldn't surpirse me if this ugly freak was bullied at school. Maybe that's why he was to take out his anger on gays.

  • My issue with Adam Lambert, is that HE IS NOT GAY AND HE DARES CALLING HIMSELF THAT! He is bi-curios or whatever, he made out with Ke$ha, and said he won't say he would NEVER do it with a girl, because he maybe would... HE IS GROSS!

  • I don't understand the whole, "I'm proud of my sexuality"? Its not that we should be proud, or ashamed, its simply who we are. Like our eye color, but no one ever says, I'm proud of my eye color.

  • And yes he's proud of his sexuality. And if you actually knew your facts, you'd know that he said "it just never came up in conversation. I didn't get done singing Led Zeplin and be like "thank you thank you Simon, i'm gay."" And look at him now. Worldwide star, Millions of fans, he's coming out with his second album, AND he's SUPPPPPERRRR successful.

  • Okay, Adam is the most unselfish person EVER. And he didn't HAVE to come out on the magazine. He just confirmed it. Cause we all knew any way. And they asked him about it. And also, are you stupid?! "kinda passivly exploiding their sexual identity for attention" ???? Umm it's called being himself. And also, he's done SO much charity work you have no idea. And Adam NEVER said he doesn't like talking bout it. He's comfortable with his sexuality.

  • I don't have a problem with gay people. in fact most of my female friends BFF are gay men. What I HATE is when they go over board with it in public places. Like they are making a public announcement there gay. I also hate when they try and get cute around me. Do sent bother me JUST ANNOYING.

  • he never did really wait he was openly gay his whole life he just didnt say anything about it on the compatiotn cus he knew it was about the singing not who the person is

  • Talking about gay people ur gay yea I said it ass

  • @MineMoreFish stfu I fucking hate u homophobes get a fuckkin life and the douche on this video can go fhs

  • i hate how fags have to talk in a higher pitch and look differently and have these retarded gestures when they talk, moving their heads like fucking retards.

    Why can't fags be normal.

  • @MineMoreFish why can't you jut accept people for who they are?? i'm gay but i don't talk in a high pitched voice and i don't move my head like a "retard" if you stop thinking inside your closed box you'll notice that there is nothing wrong with us besides the fact that we aren't atracted to the opposite sex and that a gay relationship is just as much just a normal relationship, it's not all about sex as aa lot of people still think

  • @straps6661

I specified what I hated about this PARTICULAR fag, and left the normal fags alone, you retarded cocksucker. Now stop playing the victim and trying to defend everything about fags. Pay attention next time, nigger.

  • @MineMoreFish Some of those guys actually have naturally higher pitch voices. As far as how they act... I think it depends on how far they take it. I am a les so I really don't care either way. Also, if you want people to understand that you are not referring to all gays, you should use qualifiers like "some" or "several". Just sayin'.

  • @Kimjira1 Wasn't really trying to not be offensive, but thanks for trying to help!

  • @MineMoreFish Get a life. Please.

  • @jskittlesrox Stop being a fag, please.

  • @MineMoreFish Too bad I'm a girl.

  • @jskittlesrox Too bad I don't give a fuck, nigger. Stop being a fag.

  • @MineMoreFish Too bad I'm not black. Get a life!

  • @jskittlesrox eat a dick, nigger.

  • I agree with you, it was during the whole show, was he or was he not. there was even a scene with his dad that was like "well adam really didnt like sports" it was super stupid. theres a difference between flaunting it and just acknowledging it

  • ur gy 4 making that video.

  • Adam was never "maybe I am, maybe I'm not". He didn't disclose his sexuality during the competition, but after the competition, he was simple and straightforward. He said he was always fine with being open about his sexuality, but he was never directly asked during the competition. The Rolling Stones article was not solely about his sexuality, but about who he was in general. He always planned on letting the public know he was gay eventually, and it had nothing to do with being offered money.

  • Don't dis Anderson Cooper!!!!

  • I wouldnt be suprise if you later realize your gay..

  • It is so damned obvious that you are both 'camp' & 'closeted gay'

    Get your life together

  • While Adam was still in American Idol, he was still just getting used to being a figure of the public eye. And the fact that most Americans do not accept homosexuals into the society, it would ruin his chances of getting to the finals had he acknowledged the public about his sexuality because, the people watching are the ones who determine his fate in the competition. Also, he wanted the public to judge him based on his voice and performances, not his sexual preferences.

  • tell me the bottom is his nose doesn't look like a mushroom..

  • @Funnifal it does!

  • Ummm okay so i don't agree. And i think you contradicted yourself like 10 times.... Well Have A Good Day

  • Adam never really came out because not only did he think it wasn't important, he never felt like he was "in the closet"

also, I'm sure he doesn't choose what magazines decide to put on their cover

  • I told you young people! That crack is some crazy shit!

  • To "come out" you first have to be IN the closet. Adam hasn't been "in the closet" since he was a teenager, and then only kinda. All he did was an interview for Rolling Stone - part of that interview was about him being gay. He CONFIRMED what was already obvious to anyone w more than 2 brain cells. He has never EVER denied it or pretended to be straight. Do we expect all contestants to state their sexual orientation? No, because WE assume they are straight. THAT'S the prob, not Adam.

  • He wait to say that he was gay because of the show and being afraid that could affect in the show r.r you dont know adam at all :/

  • he's just stating his opinion on the internet (having the right to) if you disagree with him, you can do that respectively :\

  • I looked at the sidebar where it shows more vids by the person, every single one has the word "Gay" in the title. Is he trying to tell us something?

  • I really like this video, I have thought the same thing.

    Why hide your sexuality?

  • @LLLeeeeeeeee People hide their sexuality because society is fucked up and doesn't accept diversity because they're pussies.

  • What is the big deal with professing that one is gay. We are told to accept the person not their preference. Gay or strait who really gives a damn. I don't give a damn about Lambert and I don't care for his brand of music but what he does in private needs to stay private. Like most peoples lives.

  • You're too young to have had known a time when people were committing career suicide by coming out. Your ignorance is understandable, but it isn't really interesting.

  • why does every wannabe broadcaster use that fucking annoying cutting technique?

  • No one should care about or have an issue with people who are gay. They are still people. I didn't and don't watch American Idol either but i am a huge Adam Lambert fan. Once again, people are people and Shouldn't be labled.

  • your a jerk XP adam is talented! you aren't! deal with it you *;^&>!

  • Ok, this video annoys me. Who cares how other people come out? It's not like it changes anything. I don't like Adam Lambert because of his sexuality, I like him because of his amazing voice. How he comes out is his decision. He can make a whole parade when he comes out for all I care.

  • Look dude Adam Lambert never lied about his sexuality and he was never asked about so why would he just come out and be like," oh yeah I'm gay by the way." You're a moron, and if you did watch American Idol you would've noticed that Adam Lambert kissed Kris Allen on his head. I don't think that is a way to hide your homosexuality. Come on get a life. Your so caught up worrying about who is gay and who isn't that you are making a fool of yourself.

  • No he just wanted to let people know a head of time after the end of the show, so no body in America get shocked. He sad it for Rolling Stones, might be the best way to let people know, becuse its hard to just say " I am gay" on a press confrence or some thing.

  • you are wrong~ he was out since he was 18~ he didn't want 2 make a big deal of it, other ppl did. it is not his fault.

  • so? hes talented..... u shouldnt judge people nd this is directed 2 whoever the hell made this video

  • @emocupcake90210 i like waht you said here

  • "my hairs a little crazy" you just noticed that.

    giggle, giggle

  • i noticed he was gay as fast as a snap i saw him singing and i was like he's gay, i know he is..buthe is a great singer i like him

  • being gay is really gay...yuck im here bcuz i wasnt sure if he was gay

  • whatever floats ur boat.....................

  • Dude Gays are awesome.... Die! Okay too much LOL

  • The media has a way of exploiting celebs so that the general public perceives them a certain way. Talking about your private life is a big risk especially if you're a new celeb and you don't know what your getting yourself into. Even if he was doing it for attention, people wanting fame do whatever they can to get attention when their starting out. I don't hear you complaining about how women exploit themselves to get attention. It goes on all around us.

  • @euphorial ur awesome. im christan & straight, but gays are like my best friends. i luv adam & ellen :)

  • I don't know who Adam Lambert is since I don't watch TV but I remember Clay Aiken and know exactly what you mean with this video.I totally agree that celebrities seem to 'need' to get as much drama out of their coming out as possible. As for Clay Aiken, he surely didn't want to stay "Invisible" though that song certainly sounds like it was written about the unrequited love of a closeted gay man to me!

  • @237769356 He was already out to everyone who knew him in L.A. before he even auditioned for American Idol.

  • Adam never officially came out. He was just asked over and over again, and his answer was "I never felt the need to come out of the closet, because I was never in the closet".

  • When your in showbusiness and someone waves bucks in front of you, you just at the chance to get them. The deals offered Adam and such were probably very nice. I would not be surprised if we won't see Adam et al on the cover of Playgirl magizine. Adam is in the business to make money as well he should.

  • @bernieklown2 Now that would be Awesome-Adam in Playgirl!! <3

  • I love your hair ^_^

  • Adam had come out to his parents a long time ago. They have been supportive.

And American Idol told him to hold off until after the show. The press were all hounding him with pictures of him kissing his boyfriend. Adam is intelligent and a great role model for young gay rockers. I wish he had come along when i was a teen or young adult.

And thanks for your comments and your frank discussions. Continued success.

  • @FU6969 Sorry but that is not what American Idol told him! Listen to some of Adam's interviews before posting BS!

  • I can kind of see your point, u seem cool ... like ur hair.

  • I do not think Anderson Cooper has admited to being gay. I like your vid though, both Adam and lance were muscled into talking about it in the media. And getting paid to talk about stuff that you felt unimportant to discuss is not wrong. Though I can see in this media and celberity obsessed world how it could get misconstruded. Great bid as always though Thor, haters aside.

  • Yes it cheapens the coming out experience when it's done purely as a publicity stunt.

  • The reason why he came out on cover and got paid becuase MABEY he knows that if the goverment finds out that he is gay that they will do somthin to him..AND i am not agaisnts gays! and i HATE the word "Gay" people make it seem so bad..So anyways back to were i was at he wanted to get paid so if he did get caught by the govermet that he would atleast get paid..only MY opinion..and if you dont like it then go write your OWN opinion then just give me a stupid "thumbs down"

  • @selenagirl14

WTF are you talking about? Are you seriously saying that the government has nothing better to do than to "catch" a reality show contestant being gay? I highly doubt they care one way or another whom Adam sleeps with. And just what would they do to him if he was "caught"?

  • Its not like ANY of us really needed a magazine cover to be able to tell he and the other ones are gay...

  • Why not get paid to come out. They'd kill us all in a heartbeat if they could. We're at war with the balloon dads for our lives right now.

  • I was shocked by a recent CNN promo showing Anderson Cooper and the blurb was something about "the place for conservative reporting" or something - which makes Anderson either a Republican or - face it - a Log Cabin Republican, yuck! They would take your rights for not being macho enough, kid!

  • Ahh, Youtube. The place where any jackass can post their moronic opinions, and pretend that other people in the world actually give a shit about what they have to say.

  • You're "opposed to the trend"? Why can't he come out on a magazine cover?? What the hell is wrong with that? Why do you really care? Are you gay? Why do you talk about the check Adam Lambert got for the cover? Do you know how long he has been trying to make his singing career work? He DESERVES to get paid for that. He is telling the world he is proud to be gay, to be who he is. Support people. Don't oppose. What is wrong with you?

  • @Krissearle You are sooo right!! Adam desereves it!! <3

  • you must be gay!

  • I understand that these singers don't want to be judged, but letting everyone know that you're gay (not just friends and family) and just dealing with their judgement would be a lot more commendable then just waiting till you win the reality show. I would have had so much more respect for Lambert and clay if they said they were gay,and we're then voted off in the first round because of it.That would have really gave confidence to other reality TV hopefuls as well as other lgbt people to come out

  • I just don't think its right for people to wait till after A show, like American Idol, to come out to to everyone. I understand that they don't want to come out because then people are of course going to judge them for it, but now after lambert got second place and is releasing a record soon, people now know that he's gay so they're going to judge him NOW. If lambert didn't want to come out because he wouldn't get votes, well he should have realized that coming out wouldn't also get album sales.

  • He just did not confirm his sexuality on Idol when they asked him. He has never denied it. He kept his statements to the competition and not about his personal life. What does it matter to who what his choices are. Live your own life and dont worry about everyone else's.

  • no one needed a magazine to tell us he was gay

  • @lhsdixiedoll That is so true-everyone all ready knew and Adam is pround of his sexuality!! And it doesn't matter anyway-he's an Awesome singer and entertainer!! <3

  • dude stfu & fckn read more of the article you'll know that he didnt 'come out' in the magazine!!! all his frahns & family knew it... & if u watched A.I. u would have NOTICED he was gay... just like you. so seriously back the fck off & try brushing ur ratty hair daily not once a week.

  • So since your calling this guy gay your using it as an insult now? You can't be defending adam lambert, then calling this guy gay as an insult just because he's voicing his opinion.

  • i agree wth you he is gay.

    but it is life.

  • brush yo hurrr boi. lmao. thats all i have to say.

  • realy!!!!!!!!!!!! plus i think ur gay

  • @biqq88 OK_does it really matter who's gay or not?? I mean come on-get a life!!

  • @LuvTommyJoe it actully does it pisses me of because its wrong!!!!!!!!

  • U HAVE A ISSUE WITH ADAM!!!!??? JERK!

  • @SupportAdamLambert Seems like he has alot of issues & didn't know what else to talk about-And I would call him an Asshole!! Adam Lambert is Awesome!! <3

  • You got a good head on your shoulders.

  • He's not like Clay, he didn't wait years to say anything. WTF? So many people have come out and if they don't do it in an interview then the media will just go and have a field day with it. Besides Adam was never hiding it to begin with you know, he's said that. So it's not like he was really 'coming out' Because what defines coming out? Having the world know about it? His family and friends knew about it. But I guess it wasn't good enough ne?

  • First of all, Adam has always been comfortable, not proud and flaunting, of his sexuality. He didn't come out to the public during American Idol because he didn't want that to be the reason he got or didn't get votes. He wanted the competition to be based on his singing.

  • he didnt "come out" in the mag. he never denied he was gay everyone who new him knew he was gay, and everyone who didnt.. there pretty blind but hejust decided to confirm it in the mag.. no big deal

  • 1.) Rolling Stone came to Adam Lambert and asked him to be on the magazine... not knowing at the time what exactly it would be about. But THEN they decided the gay story.

Sooo... I'm really tired of hearing you talk.

  • Omg you are ADORABLE!! :)

  • haha christa choose one boy (:

  • First of all, you're extremely cute, and that thing you do with your eyes it very adorable.

Second, I'd have to agree with you on some fronts — exploiting your sexuality, or as my mother would say, "flaunting it", is nothing about which to be proud. But i don't believe it's the celebrities' faults for such a thing; rather, I believe culpability remains with the media, who make such a HUGE deal out of it.

So WHAT? He's gay. American Idol is not "Sexuality Idol". It's about who can sing.

  • These celebs don't come out to make money. In most cases, it costs them gigs. Which is why so many of the leading men in film do not come out publicly.

  • this video was interesting to me because i like the fact that you stated your oppinion about something. i don't think that being gay is right or wrong. i believe that its a lot easier to get along with gay folks than it would be to get along with most straight people.

  • these guys probably came out to their families and friends fist. But since they are celebrities every aspect of their life is scrutinized and it is going to come out in an interview somewhere. Especially since being gay is so "cool" right now.

But I can understand where you are coming from (when I heard about the money in it... weird)

  • wait, is anderson cooper gay?

  • See? I can respect this video in a sense because unlike all of the other hate comments and videos, you decided to make your opinion known in a mature and kind've quite manner. I personally don't think that Adam did the cover of Rolling Stone for attention. His sexuality never seemed like it was a big deal to him, it was just that way to the media, so I think that in a way, the magazine just wanted to use it as an excuse to get attention for themselves.

  • me too. He says his point in a mature way unlike other people who just say "GAY PEOPLE SUCK!!!!" These are the kind of people i look up too

  • Idk about other celebrities, but Adam had to come out because everyone and their momma was harassing him about it. They literally refused to talk about anything else.

Plus, what's there to be ashamed of?

  • so your complaining about gay guys, but yet you have people like megan fox, and fergie who are claiming to be bisexual, if your a gay teenager, its a petrifing to come out, and if you have no like people who are out to look out for you or for you to look up to, then if they come out in magazines everyone can read them and people can feel easier knowing that theyre are gay people out there who are accepted.

  • to me u act gay..and how else..are celebs supposed to come out..they are in the public eye..so..i mean..yeah..celebs are in magazines..so i mean seriously..

  • WOULD YOU PLEASE GET A LIFE??

DAMN..YOU HAVE A SERIOUS PROBLEMS W GAY PPL...

STOP MAKIN VIDS AND LOOK FOR HELP YOUR HOMOPHOBIC...

im christian and i support adam in all ways

  • You ROCK!!!!!

  • Adam was already out. He'd been living as a gay man in L.A. for many years prior to Idol. It was no secret. He chose not to discuss his sexual preference during the show because Idol's a singing competition and the sexuality of *any* contestant shouldn't even be discussed...period. He chose to come out in Rolling Stone because he thought it would be "cool." If I was offered the cover of ROLLING STONE (!!!) & the opportunity to say what I wanted...in my own words...I'd have done the same thing.

  • Edit: He chose to discuss himself in Rolling Stone...not "come out"...as mentioned...he was already out :)

  • mte bb. the more gay celebrities let EVERYONE know they're gay, the more people stop and think "wow. gay people can be anyone! i shouldn't be thinking so mideavally!"

    d'ya get what i mean?

  • I do see where you are coming from...being gay isn't a "choice" it's totally natural for those who are and it's nothing to be ashamed of. But sexuality is only one aspect of someone's being. And unfortunately too many people are so hung up on the "gay-straight" BS. Adam felt that it was that very BS that would overshadow what he was there to do...which was simply to showcase his talent. Adam's gay but there's so much more to him! I think he'll open eyes and break down barriers! Go Adam!

  • Comment removed

  • i like adam a lot but the whole thing about not coming out during the show bc i may affect the results is a bunch of crap. everyone knew he was gay but a lot of ppl just looked the other way

  • I *HATE* the "Gay America VS Christian America" blah blah... I am a Christian who is gay. What now? I hate it that everyone thinks ALL Christians are against gay people. Stereotypes make me sick, really sick.

  • do you believe that what says in the bible is true?

  • i believe in jesus.

i go to church, and i accept him as my lord and savior jesus christ.

im NOT gay, but i dont care if someone like adam is gay.

    he is an amazing singer/person.

and i also hate that stereotype that says all Christians hate gays

  • not like it's unfounded. the christian religion says that being gay is wrong.

i don't think that ALL christians hate gays, but you have to stop and think when it's the "christian right" that's forwarding the anti-equality movement.

  • well ya.

im totally not for the gay movement, BUT adam alone is a good person, and great singer.

but no, im not for people being gay, at all.

b/c in a way, it is a choice of being gay

  • That's interesting. Would like to hear more. Tell about how you came to your choice to be heterosexual. Did you only have to have homosexual sex only once to be able to choose? Or did you need more? How long did it take you to make your choice?

    Looking forward to your reply.

  • uhmm no lol. why would i need to have sex with a dude to know if im gay or not.

i know im not gay, so why would i do that? lmao

  • I thought that you thought that being gay or being straight was a choice. - My bad.

  • it is.

i was refuring to myself. i chose to be straight

  • You're confusing me. I thought you just said you didn't make a choice to be straight. Now I think once again you're saying it was a choice even though you say you didn't have to make a choice. If it was a choice, what did you base the choice against to know that you didn't like it more? Or did you not really have to think about it at all?

  • ok, long story short.

i believe in god, therfore, im saved. therfor, im not gay...

and it has been proven that gay people that got trully saved by god, they actually become straight.

look it up, all these ex people got saved, and werent gay anymore

  • You are confusing me even more. I thought salvation and the whole concept of being 'saved' was reserved for Christians only. The whole "Whosever believeth in me shall not perish...' and on. Then again, you didn't mention Christ so maybe I'm just assuming your Christian.

Ex people got saved? Were the still people before they were saved, or did being saved stop them from being people and then they became ex people.

Oh, and what does 'trully saved' mean. Tried looking up trully in dictionary...

  • rofl ok.

    never mind.

i can tell now that your not that smart.

u cant even get the simplest of conversations.

    ok good day lmao

  • You might be on to something. It is difficult for me to get the 'simplest' of conversations. Perhaps instead of conversing in 'simplest' ways you could elaborate in thoughtful, compound-complex sentences with grammar. I don't know how smart I am but, I do know I'm educated. Though I may not know, I do, at the very least, try to understand.

  • kk. ttyl lol

  • English truly does escape you, doesn't it? Or are you intimidated by it? Either way, it really is nothing to be afraid of. Set your fear aside and give it a try. Soon everyone will hear and finally understand everything you have to say! What do you say? Won't that be wonderful? Heard and understood. What could be better? You have an interesting mind with interesting thoughts and interesting observations of interesting experiences. You can make the world interested in your interesting ideas.

  • @miamiDOLPHINfan93 Sometimes it's NOT a choice-just my opinion!

  • ikr? i hate them to; im a christian and im straight but im TOTALLY fine with gays, lesbians, bis, or whatever! several of my friends arent striaght but they have a strong relationship with god.

  • @euphorial my brother is gay and christian aswell and it makes me sick that people are like that aswell.

  • @euphorial i hate following stereotypes its like just be urself u clown

  • @euphorial Your gay thats christian?? Awesome! I'm gay too if that helps. Lol

  • @euphorial i sort of now how you feel, except i am more, i guess, truelly a bisexual and i am christian but i 100% support gay people. It's actually one of my many dreams to have a gay friend. Anyways good luck out there in this harsh world of misunderstanding

  • @euphorial ewwww

  • the reason adam lambert came out with rolling stone is because he didnt want to tell it to the press and be on tabloids and all that crap.and he didnt come out during the show because he didnt want to effect the results cuz if he came out during the show people would vote based on his sexuality not on his singing.

  • I know what you mean, but they didn't want to hurt their chances of winning idol. There are a lot of homophobes in America. Anyways, they weren't afraid of losing after idol was over. Lance was part of a boy group, so... think about it. it's not easy coming out to the whole world when people are supposed to look up to you, at least right now.

  • i hate it when people use homosexuality for attention, i even know some people who fake being bisexual for attention, because they randomly tell me one day "guess what? i'm bisexual," gee, that's great.

  • Hide?? when he started ?? oh god he's sooo soo soo fag that miss J. Alexander's is more men... IF HE DID NOT WIN IS BECAUSE (THANKS) AMERICA DID NOT VOTE FROM HIM... so PLEASE stop saying that american idol was pulling to hide his sexuality THIS GUY IS SUCH A PUSSY

  • u know wat shut the fuck up im bi okay? im also christian and my friends are gay or straight and i shouldnt be putting gays down cuz u r gay so go suck off some guys ball sweat and move to canada so no1 needs to fucking hear u u little cock sucker DAMN GET A LIFE!!!!!!! >:O

  • he wasnt pretending to be straight, at no point did he say he was straight he just chose not to tell the media because he wanted to avoid the complications

  • Don't you feel like maybe American Idol sort of pushed him to feel like if he was openly gay he wouldn't win? I think it's just the whole misunderstanding, the whole problem with the world not embracing homosexuality. I'm pretty sure it's some sort of bullshit American Idol was pulling with both Adam and Clay. That's why they waited, that's the real issue I feel. It's corporate America and it's homophobia.

  • i totally feel you.

  • can i ask u a question thorthewhore. r u gay cuz u sound. no offense if ur straight n if ur gay i got nthn against them

  • really?

  • You flair your nostrils a lot. Lol. :D

  • @ihacks4fun Which works out because he IS gay...

  • I am so subscribing to you! <3

  • oh my god he's gay!! --- gasp! did anyone notice btw, that......scott is blind!!!! omg! can everybody please relax about this?? people either LOVE gay people because they're gay,

ex: "all the cute guys are gay" "i love gay guys!!" etc.

    or HATE gay people

ex: "faggot" "you disgust me" etc.

umm hello gay people are all different. you can't love or hate them. it's a trait, like being black or a girl

  • omg thank you for pulling out such a good point. i mean really scotts gotta to sufer with a major disabillity but adam is gay and most people trip out over that. honest i dont think scott is gettig the respect he deserves.

  • Do you watch Fox News?

  • He was offered the cover during the competition, they didn't know what he was going to tell them. He was originally going to come out right after the finale to the press but decided to wait for rolling stone so he could give people HIS take on it. I do sorta agree about the magazine thing(clay is just an attention whore) but in Adam's case he never denied being gay, and he was never in the closet. The article and cover was not an Adam coming out party, it was about him, him music, and his life.

  • they didn't know adam would come out in rolling stone, he had the cover anyway and it was his choice.

  • you don't even know ( I don't even know too) how hard is to some people to come out of the closet imagine you have something that you are afraid to say to your folkes and at the end it doesn't feel right cause they didn't aprove it. I will maybe never understand why there is gay people, or bisexual, or lesbian, or even transexual people; or this "pregnated" guy I saw in Discovery channel......but hey they are P-E-O-P-L-E like you.....with feelings....like you.

    Have some respect please!

  • @Macnavor Your comment moves me. As a lesbian who has only been out for about a year and a half... thank you.

  • @Kimjira1 Oh no worries I just don't judge about small silly things as sexuality, or color of skin.......is too damn silly that some people still gives importance to that! Worst part in some religion they are mention as evil. Gay people as evil is not justified. Also It was kinda touching that a friend of mine who I thought it was straight (pretending so well) told me he's gay trough the messenger cause he was too afraid to said it to me in person.....I feel more clear as who is him now!

  • I understand what you're trying to get at and I dont want to be a bitch cuz i see you're getting a lot of that but please for the sake of all Adam Lambert fans(and Adam Lambert himself) out there just leave him alone!!!!

  • I agree with you but in all honesty I think Adam knew everyone knew he was gay but was so tired of everyone asking and nagging and bothering him to come out publicly that the last straw so to speak was the Rolling Stone magazine person asking him to come out.

  • Furthermore... Adam Lambert was always out, if you watched Idol you would have seen that. He never pretended to be straight. Idol contestants are sequestered from he press once they hit the top 13 so he could neither deny or confirm rumors until after the show ended.

  • The press dogged Adam to confirm what was obvious. He chose to do it on his own terms not be bullied into it by parasitic tabloids. Those who feel he exploited his sexuality to further his career were either not paying attention to the media's constant harassment of him or are not comfortable with openly gay celebrities. Adam was not paid for his RS interview in which he declared his sexuality, talked in length about his personal journey and future career plans. I recommend you read it!

  • Is this you're attempt at becoming a Gay Celebrity?

  • chill out dude...Eric is entitled to his opinions
